Great family stay for three generations. Local beaches are close by and all amenities you could need are not far by car. Shops for essentials are within easy walking distance. Something to do in all weathers

Excellent stay and so close to everything. Easy check in and clear communication made everything seamless. Would recommend staying again. Only thing we did not use was the hot tub as we were unsure when it was cleaned or maintained last. All else was perfect!

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage! Quite spacious for us as we had our 8 month old daughter with us. Porta cot fitted nicely into the room. The spa was a nice touch to come home and end the night with after spending the day with friends and family. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a small, quiet and private cottage. We hope to be back soon 😊

We loved our stay at Shaw Cottage. The check-in was very easy and everything was open for us when we arrived. The cottage was just like the pictures, super clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hosts even provided the ability to wash our clothes. Highlights: Communication: Marie responded immediately and kindly to anything we needed Location: The cottage is a bit out of the way, but that is what we were looking for. Very quiet and private - beautiful county scenery. We were looking for something situated between the coast (Te Puke) and Rotorua and this fit the bill perfectly. Comfortability: The cottage was cozy and all the windows made for a bright and warm atmosphere. Bed, couches, chairs were very comfortable. Cleanliness: Everything was clean, neat, and well kept up. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful time staying here. The house was lovely, spacious, and conveniently located to many different things. Samantha was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the hot tub each night we stayed. Very relaxing getaway! We will definitely be looking to stay here again if we can, the next time we visit the area!

We so enjoyed our stay here. Really convenient to Oneroa shops and walkway down to beach. Everything you could expect, and more in the house. The house was ready for us before check in time and Brad let us know that we could enter early.

Absolutely amazing stay at the lodge. The home was tidy, homely and peaceful. Loved having a spa and watching the cattle . The hosts were amazing with communication and going that little bit extra to make sure we felt right at home! Recommend this place a high 10/10 from us we will be back !

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for our mini-moon! From the moment we arrived, we were in love—gorgeous flower gardens, dreamy hydrangeas, and the most charming vintage decor that was so our vibe. Every little detail was thoughtful and welcoming. Our small dog, Hazel, was just as happy as we were, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and exploring the garden. It felt like a cosy, romantic escape while still having all the comforts of home. We truly didn’t want to leave! Love, love, love—would stay again in a heartbeat! 💕✨🐾

We really enjoyed our stay. You could picture happy family holidays spent in the cottage in the past. While the cottage has some age on it, it had all the facilities we required, the beds were comfortable, everything was really clean and in working condition. Being able to take the short walk to the beach to watch the sun rise each morning was great. Waking to the sound of bird song in the morning was special, as was having two NZ wood pigeons join us as we sat on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee the first morning. With the cafes and the Cathedral Cove shuttle only a short walk away, we were able to park our car securely beside the cottage and leave it there. It suited our style of travelling.

Great location, very quiet, peaceful, had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio and watching the sun set and birds and even a couple bunnies. House was very quiet and a great size for our family of three.

We had the most wonderful stay at Bayleys place. The cottage is so spacious yet cozy and rustic. Perfect place for a relaxing and cuddling up next to the fire . Bayley was very accomodating and communication was great. Thank you so much we will be back !

Nice and comfortable, easy to find and convenient location to the Mt and Bayfair. Great beds and linen. Kitchen has everything you need. Good size cottage for a couple, small family and beach close by.

The apartment is very nice and stylish decorated. It is beautiful and quietly situated and has a stunning view. Everything is clean and functions well. The separate bedroom is very pleasant. Amanda is a very friendly and helpful host. Mount Maunganui and the city centre of Tauranga are near. Absolutely recommendable

Lovely typical Waiheke house with character. We enjoyed the terrace and garden with native birds wandering though. Extremely peaceful surrounds. 10/15 minute walk to Onetangi beach cutting through a reserve and going down some stairs. Highly recommend the 372 restaurant, great food and wine.

Our stay at the bach was a balm for the soul. Days unfolded in a tranquil rhythm, spent entirely on the sun-drenched deck, where the only sounds were the gentle lapping of the tide and the occasional cry of a seagull. Evenings brought a cozy warmth as we gathered by the crackling fire, the sea's lullaby a constant, soothing backdrop. The bach itself was a haven of peace, a perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. We explored the shoreline with leisurely walks, the salty air invigorating our senses. The provided water toys added a playful dimension, turning the sea into our personal playground. The proximity to local restaurants meant we could indulge in fresh seafood and local delicacies without venturing far. Each meal was a delight, made even more special by the friendly, welcoming nature of the locals. Their warmth and genuine hospitality added a special touch to our stay, making us feel truly at home. It's a place where time slows down, and memories are made.

We had 2 nights in the Cottage. It was in a beautiful setting, private and quiet. It was roughly in between Cambridge and Hamilton on a high class road. Jane provided breakfast cereals, porridge and croissants and even gave us a jar of newly made jam and figs to take home. Comfy beds, great heat pump and lovely lookout from the balcony as well as a very friendly host. Thank you Jane.
