Our stay at La Casa dell Abate was truly wonderful and memorable and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys beauty and comfort off the beaten path. From the moment we arrived, Allesio was welcoming, friendly, showed us around the home and offered tips on what to do. He will also offer you the opportunity for a pasta class or gourmet dinner which is prepared by their friend Francesco, in the private garden/outdoor kitchen. We really enjoyed this experience. Their home is beautifully decorated yet maintains the charm of the 16th century in which the village was built. We slept great in the peaceful surroundings and the comfortable beds with nice linens. One of our best Airbnb experiences! Thank you Allesio.

La casa cuenta con una habitación, baño, living-cocina, y un pequeño balcón, todo privado. Todos los espacios son muy grandes. Estuvimos muy cómodos. Fuimos a principios de Enero y la casa estaba perfectamente calefaccionada. La casa estaba muy limpia, decorada, y con todos los detalles cuidados; se nota la dedicación de los anfitriones. Sábanas y toallas impecables. La cocina está perfectamente equipada. El baño perfecto también. La casa se encuentra aislada en un entorno precioso, relajante, con un lago privado, no contaminado por la ciudad. El jardín exterior es enorme y está muy bien cuidado (aún en invierno). Hay mesas y sillas, parrilla y lugar para estacionar el auto. En la propiedad, viven Ascensina y Elisabetta; constantemente se ocuparon de que nuestra estadía sea placentera. Fue muy agradable hablar con ellas, son muy simpáticas y una gran compañía. ¡Excelente Airbnb, super recomendado!

Our stay with Sheila and Silvia was fantastic! They were terrific hosts, and the property exceeded our expectations with its beauty and impeccable cleanliness. We opted for extra meals and a cooking class, and everything was outstanding. Silvia is an incredible chef, and the dinners she prepared were some of our best meals during our trip to Italy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for cooking. The property offers stunning views, nestled in the hills about a 20-25 minute drive from Cortona via scenic, winding roads, so having a car is essential. There’s so much to explore within a 30-minute to 2-hour drive, from lakeside towns and wine tastings to thermal baths, spas, charming medieval villages, and plenty of Michelin-starred restaurants. I highly recommend booking here for a relaxing, delicious, and comfortable getaway.

Rosanna e suo marito sono due splendide persone. La loro casetta è una vera perla nei boschi, perfetta per coloro che cercano pace e distacco dalla vita cittadina. La casa ha un potenziale enorme che, d’estate, può essere sfruttato pienamente (c’è una grande piscina nel giardino sul retro). I principali luoghi da visitare sono piuttosto vicini, ci si muove in auto tra Umbria e Toscana senza problemi. I Servizi (bar e supermercati) sono a 5 minuti. Siamo stati benissimo ed anche il nostro cane, Puck, si è subito sentito a casa.

A truly magical and unique stay in a castle apartment. After 24 days exploring the beauty of Italy, our arrival at Simone's third floor apartment in the village was breathtaking. This truly magnificent setting, nestled within a castle, immediately enveloped us in a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The apartment itself is not only beautifully appointed and meticulously cared for, but also boasts spectacular views across the mountain range that invited us to sit for hours, simply unwinding and soaking in the tranquility. While we ventured down the mountain a few times, we found ourselves drawn to the gentle rhythm of morning and evening walks, always culminating in a visit to the piazza to once again marvel at the stunning views Simone, our host, is simply the most considerate and attentive host I have encountered in 15 years of travel. The Wine Loft is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The modern architecture is gorgeous and the views are magical. We traveled by trains and it was easy to take a taxi (arranged by the Wine Loft) from the station. Additionally, we enjoyed walking the country path through the woods and meadow to Bagno Vignoni. We highly recommend this beautiful property. The wines were a phenomenal addition to the stay.

The villa is located in the heart of the hills, secluded from all the nuisances of today’s world. Check-in was a breeze with extremely straightforward instructions. The host recommended Gimmy for a cooking experience, and that didn’t disappoint. Jackamo was recommended for a trek alongside the property and that too didn’t disappoint. Jackamo was extremely knowledgeable and fun to talk to. To sum it all up, this was one of the most pleasant experiences through Airbnb and we can’t wait to visit again.

Het verblijf bij Roisin wat zeer prettig. De ruimtes en bedden waren schoon. In verhouding een groot zwembad. Mooie ligbedden en zitjes. Keuken was gevuld met heerlijk eten en drinken, wat we allemaal mochten gebruiken. We kregen vooraf goede informatie, ook over het steile paadje wat genomen moest worden. Het was een zeer fijn verblijf, we hadden mooi weer, hebben eigenlijk binnen alleen maar gebruik gemaakt van de slaapkamers en keuken.
