Hotel Santo Tomás was lovely. A little boutique hotel oasis in the heart of San Jose and so close to all the things to do. Finding it was a bit tough but it was very dark and we were very jet lagged. In the daytime it would've been no problem at all. They have secure parking facilities, very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and the attention to detail of the hotel itself was spectacular. So many places to sit and just relax in the beautiful weather. Thomas sat and chatted with us and other guests over breakfast and had all sorts of recommendations, tips, maps, places to go and things to do. He is an absolute gem and can guide you in all things Costa Rica.

Great place with easy beach access but worth knowing that you will have to wade through waste deep water to access the beach. However, it was 100% worth it! Staff was great and they are very helpful and kind.

Das kleine, schön über San José gelegene Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen! Sauberes Zimmer, großes Bad, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Duschgel etc. alles da. Der Pool seeehr schön, ungeheizt damit man sich abkühlen kann und schön zum liegen und ein selbstgekauftes Bier oä zu genießen. Sogar ne kleine Terrasse hatten wir. Ebenso gibt es sep. Handtücher für den Pool; einfach fragen. Das Frühstück lecker; Pancakes oder Omelette oder French Toast mit Kaffee satt. Abends einen geilen Blick auf das Treiben und die Lichter. Mit Uber super günstig ins Multiplaza (8$) oder zum Flughafen, um 3h nachts (25$). Für einen 2-Nächte Aufenthalt perfekt und in einer sicheren Gegend; das war unser Eindruck.

¡Excelente experiencia! El lugar estaba impecablemente limpio, en una zona muy tranquila y segura, ideal para descansar. Además, la ubicación es excelente, cerca de todo lo necesario. Un detalle que me encantó fue que los anfitriones me ayudaron a conseguir descuentos en restaurantes y actividades locales, lo cual hizo que disfrutara aún más mi estadía. ¡Súper recomendado!

Tuvimos una excelente experiencia. La atención del personal fue realmente sobresaliente, siempre atentos, amables y dispuestos a ayudar. Un reconocimiento especial a Jean Carlos por su gran servicio y disposición, hizo que nuestra estancia fuera muy agradable. Los únicos aspectos a mejorar son el estado del camino para llegar, que está en mal estado, y la falta de señalización del mismo.

Un excelente lugar para descansar en familia , las habitaciones equipadas y limpias. Unas vistas excelentes de los atardeceres y las áreas comunes limpias y funcionales .

I will definitely try to come back and stay here. The front desk staff were so nice and helpful. The place was very clean and quiet. I did not care for the pillows. There is a common kitchen with free . Close to bus terminal. I wish there was a Wide Mouth frog sign outside because no walked right by the place. I met people from the hostel and everyone was so nice. Pretty pool area

VOS was the perfect location to stay at. We rented the place to attend a friend’s wedding and it was extremely easy to locate and the staff was superb. Everyone was very accommodating and had plenty suggestions/recommendations. We would most certainly stay here for our next visit!

Muy bello espacio, rodeado de naturaleza y calma

Las camas super comodas, la habitacion esta nueva, todo muy bonito, limpio, ordenado. Pese a que el lugar aun esta en construccion ya esta perfecto para hospedarse. La piscina es super grande y riquisima.

La cabaña es preciosa y acogedora. Es un espacio muy tranquilo y pacífico incluso estando tan cerca del restaurante y de la calle principal. El acceso es super fácil, la atencion de los anfitriones inmejorable. Nos hospedamos en un día muy concurrido para el restaurante, y la cabaña está muy cerca del parqueo y del acceso peatonal al restaurante por lo que a otras personas transitaban cerca, sin embargo hay cortinas que puedes cerrar y casi no te das cuenta de ello.

Excelente lugar, para descansar y estar en contacto con la naturaleza, cerca del volcan de fácil acceso, linda vista, muy tranquilo, los anfitriones excelentes y además te brindan mucha información importante. El desayuno increíble, super recomendado

This was my third reservation at Lilia's place, and I plan to stay here the next time I return to San Jose - highly recommend.

If you want to visit Chirippo but also have a luxury stay then this is it. It is very comfortable and tastefully furnished. The casitas are right next to the river and they have created a number of forest and river trails on the property, which end up at a beautiful waterfall. Rosita the caretaker was very helpful and gave us a tasty Costa Rican breakfast and our hosts went out of their way to make our stay there memorable. Hopefully we will visit and stay longer next time.

Un lugar para amanecer agradeciendo estar vivo, tranquilo, con vecinos gentiles, dentro de la naturaleza, te brina la oportunidad de vivir en una casa viva! el sonido del rio detras es super relajante. Ha sido una gran experiencia la estadia en casa Harlan. Alejado lo necesario de las pequeñas ciudades como para disfrutar el silencio pero llegar en 10 minutos en auto al asentamiento urbano mas cercano.

Wir haben uns in der wunderschönen Holzhütte am Hang des Irazu sehr wohl gefühlt . Nachts wurde es sehr kalt , aber die bereitgestellten Decken reichten aus . Morgens war es dann schnell warm , nachdem die Sonne aufgegangen ist . Der Blick ins Tal ist wunderschön , besonders der Sonnenuntergang über den Wolken .
