Cozy place with good location, easy to transport on foot

The hosts at Palla Khasa were incredibly friendly and very attentive. The place is about 10 minutes from the town and its extremely peaceful with gorgeous views of Tititcaca plus a private lodge surrounded by native flowers.

Beautiful house in a GORGEOUS location. Spacious and well outfitted. Great outdoor space and a beautiful view. Host very helpful with any issues. Highly recommend.

We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, and Isla del Sol is truly unique. Hosts here aren’t always online, so responses may be slow—but when Maritza replied with check-in info, it was clear, helpful, and even included restaurant and guide recommendations. She lives on site and was incredibly kind. We didn’t realize the island is hiking-only and arrived with carry-on suitcases along with our backpacks. Maritza helped us hire donkeys and even carried the carry-ons by hand (40 Bs each way). If visiting, consider storing luggage in Copacabana and packing a backpack of necessities. She also made a delicious breakfast of coffee, eggs, fruit, bread, and jam. The house had stunning lake views with massive windows, felt private, and was peaceful. It got chilly at night, but the blankets were heavy and warm. A wonderful and memorable experience—thank you, Maritza!
