This is a one off 60's style place . We felt at really home and loved it all . It is a place which is full of books, beautiful pictures , and real touches of really fine design. Okay, here and there it shows its age BUT it is a home which has been preserved and which shows real ( rather than Faux ) class. Lovely spaces and real retro ... generous spaces subdued but elegant lighting and the odd bit of quirk . It reeks of happy family times in beautiful Merimbula. We loved it and will be back .

Really great place to stay with the family, dog included! Had all you would need for a great time to call home whilst at the beach. Kitchen well equipped, practical furnishings and beautiful views right from the home. Thanks Sally and Mark!

We stayed here while working in the area and couldn’t have been happier. The home was spotless, well equipped, and really comfortable after long days on site. It’s in a great location, close to everything we needed. The host was easy to communicate with and made the whole process smooth. We had the most incredible stay at this cabin! The location is absolutely unbeatable — just steps from a stunning beach with crystal-clear water and golden sand. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having morning coffee with ocean views felt like a dream. The cabin itself was cozy with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. It felt private and peaceful, but still close enough to explore nearby cafes and attractions. Couldn’t have asked for a better beach escape — we can’t wait to come back!

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! The apartment looked exactly like the photos and matched the description perfectly. The pool was a fantastic bonus and made the experience even better. Midian is a terrific host - either she or her partner, Ed, responded promptly when we had requests or questions. Her apartment is large, light, modern, nicely furnished in an uncluttered way, and the bed is very comfortable. The apartment is on the 5th floor and the view is nice. It was very useful to have a washer and dryer in the apartment. The amenities of the complex - gym and 25m lap pool - are convenient and excellent. The area is very safe.

Lulu and Matt’s place was incredibly restful. Such a beautiful area, everything was perfect. I loved watching the most amazing sunrises and sunsets, the abundant wildlife and birds, and having closeups with the farm animals. I would thoroughly recommend to everyone

We loved staying in Anthea's home! The cottage was absolutely beautiful, even more stunning than the photos. We especially loved having coffee on the patio in the morning, watching the birds and kangaroos in the fields. Anthea was so responsive and helpful, we felt right at home. We can't wait to come back!

Second time here and we will be back. Absolutely stunning location, peaceful and totally private. We had a visit from the cows and calves who wander the property and was absolutely unbelievable and beautiful. We love it here.

Glenburnie Cottage is a peaceful, country style cottage with an amazing outlook over Tumbarumba. It's within a pleasant and easy walking distance to town. Tom responded quickly to communications and made us feel very welcome. Our wine tasting experience was much appreciated! I highly recommend Glenburnie Cottage for a relaxing and peaceful getaway in a beautiful area to explore.

We had a fantastic stay at La Casita. It was very clean and cosy with thoughtful details. We loved the fireplace which was already set up for us. Would recommend a cosy winter stay here. Only thing to note that as mentioned the drive down is a little rough but manageable.

We fell in love with the photos of BoxHouse… then our expectations were exceeded! Hands down one of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve ever had. Liz is the perfect host: so friendly & caring, providing quality, thoughtful touches throughout the property. Everything in the home & at the property is of the highest standard, we were so comfy & cozy & spoilt over our winter long weekend stay. Highlights were the sunrise from the loft bedroom, the local kangaroos & birds, grilling on the bbq, reading & sipping a cup of tea as sunlight poured through the huge windows, yoga & cheese platters on the sun-drenched porch - everything was pure bliss! The home is so unique & interesting & we loved reading about the build & the town of Tanja in the books provided. We had a 5+ star experience & highly recommend a stay at the gorgeous BoxHouse.
