Cabin holiday rentals in Cook Township

It was a cute cozy cabin with a beautiful pond out front. We loved the hot-tub as well as the upstairs area!

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin! We made use of the hot tub and the fire pit. We walked down to the lake and it was very scenic. The house is quite nice and cozy. The beds were perfectly fine. I really enjoyed the reading nook that's tucked away around a corner and appreciated the kitchen and its accoutrements. The only thing I really didn't like was the road down to the cabin and, more so, the drive back out. We successfully navigated this in our Toyota Camry, but really, I'd have been a lot more comfortable in a 4 wheel drive SUV or truck.

We stayed here for our 26th anniversary and it was perfect! It is an amazing cabin with incredible views. I highly recommend this cabin. The one piece of advice is because cell service is spotty don't trust your gps. Follow the instructions and look for the name of the cabin on the sign.

The Cabin was a fantastic place to stay at. The home theater and hot-tub really made the place amazing. Great for family and friends to enjoy their time in Pennsylvania.

If you want seclusion, this is the place for you. Very quiet, seen deer in the back yard two days in a row. The master bed is extremely comfortable. Does have stone driveway, and if you want any groceries stop on the way. Wifi worked great. Overall great place to stay!

We loved the property and Shea was extremely easy to connect with. The home and surrounding landscape were very secluded and serene. The bed was more comfortable than most hotels and everything in the home was neat and clean. We took advantage of being able to purchase extra firewood and loved sitting by the camp fire. We really loved it there and hope to return someday! We highly recommend this property and host!

This cabin was a perfect weekend get away and super close to the seven springs resort. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best but the cozy cabin and hot tub made up for it. We look forward to coming back next year.

Ashley was a great host. The cabin was a perfect spot for our family getaway and had everything as describe. The cabin is incredibly private and charming will all amenities which made for a great visit. We look forward to booking another visit in the future visit. Thank you Ashley!

What a sweet little cabin! We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful outdoor space including the creek. We had an excellent time relaxing on the porch, splashing in the creek, and cooking meals outside. We slept well listening to the creek- one of my all time favorite sounds. Our dog especially loved all the smells and chasing sticks and tennis balls as they floated down the creek!

Hosted a group of 8 gentlemen for a long weekend “glamping” trip. This cabin has more than enough space and the perfect amenities. We spent the majority of our days nearby Ohiopyle state park (only a 25 minute drive) and relaxed during the evenings back at the cabin. The firepit was perfect for s’mores and fireside chats. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and Utensils which made grilling and cooking a breeze. Great host, great spot, and a great stay is to be had here!

We came from the other side of the state to celebrate two big family events for the weekend. We needed space to visit with family as well as to prep for an off property grad party - the kitchen had everything we needed & the space to visit with family while we were in the area. Being able to bring out two dogs with us was a huge perk and great last minute decision. The location is quiet, easy to find and the hosts were so kind! The beds were comfortable and had the weather been better it would have been a great place to enjoy the private outdoor space. We hope this location is available for us the next time we visit! We love staying at this home! Perfect place for our grandsons to play in the water and in close proximity to our daughter’s home when we visit. The size is great for our family of 4 adults and 2 preteens, and could accommodate more people. Cristal and Gordon are attentive to providing a clean and well maintained home, even providing some grocery staples and snacks to get us started. The outdoor space is great for being outside with a relaxing upper deck and a lower deck with picnic table and chairs to relax in while overlooking Bear Creek. A fire pit is ready nearby to be used. We all look forward to our next trip here.

This was our second stay at the Peaceful Cabin in the Woods and we loved it as much as our first stay. It’s such and nice quiet area where we could just relax and enjoy each others company while sitting out listening to the hum of crickets! I would definitely recommend this stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Shawn and Nicole’s cabin! It was perfect spot for our family to relax after skiing each day at Seven Springs (less than 20 minutes away). The cabin is very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Down a dirt road, it was a beautiful, peaceful and quiet spot away from the crowds on the slopes. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! It was cozy, intimate,and sparkling clean! The only thing I would have enjoyed was a private fire pit on the porch.

Great location if you love peace and quiet. Cabin was clean , cozy, and stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved sitting by the fire pit at night.

We only got to stay the night but my sister and I both agree it would be a great place to come and stay with a group of friends for a weekend!

We had stayed at the cabin for the first time several months earlier in early Dec '24 during a cold snap. This time (May, 2025) we were camping for several nights in nearby (15-20 mins away) New Germany State Park. The forecast for our last night camping was for rain ... lasting through our final morning. No one wants to pack up a wet tent before going home so we decided to skip our last night at the campground, pack up the tent while it was dry during the day before, and look into finding a place to stay for our last night. The cabin was available so we reserved it for one night and Nancy allowed us some extra time in the morning to enjoy the cabin and grounds. The cabin was just as it was on our first visit (minus the December snow!) with a home-like feel. Nancy was very accommodating for our spur-of-the-moment booking.

The place is so quaint and charming tucked back into the woods with a beautiful view. The decor is dated but in excellent condition. The kids loved the intercom system ;) We absolutely loved our stay here. It was clean and the beds (including the futon) were comfortable. The pool table and hot tub were great entertainment for all. It worked so well for us all to be together after our daughter's graduation from UPJ. Would highly recommend it and would definitely stay again if in the area.

had a great stay at the cabin it was very clean and comforting. The fire place was great to sit in front of and watch a movie. its a easy place to find and get into; very quiet and great place to go on a hike just to relax. Thanks Joe

Emily was a wonderful host and WOW… I was planning to fly fish on a handful of the Gold Star rivers/creeks nearby BUT i spent my 3 days (ALL DAY) fly fishing on the heavenly Casselman River stretch adjacent to the property up stream to the Rt 68 bridge. There simply wasn’t any reason to leave the Grantsville enclave around the house. It woulda been nice if Cornucopia had been open but the kitchen and gas grill allowed for steak and eggs in the mornings and I just don’t want to leave. I spend so much time wading that peaceful soothing stretch of the river that I was sore and was a little sluggish on checkout day. I didn’t want to leave. The bed was VERY comfortable and I’ll be returning. YES I caught PLENTY of rainbow trout and a few little Brookies. Hesitant to write that because I’d rather this be a secret haha. 5.00 all the way !! Thanks Emily.

Great home near Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Kentuck Knob.

Our stay at this lovely home was nothing short of magical. It was spotless, beautifully maintained and felt like a true escape into nature. One of the highlights of our stay was freshly baked cinnamon rolls made by our host! The surrounding farm was an absolute delight. Whether is it was visiting the peacocks and chickens or giving the gentle horse a pet, every moment felt serene and special. We were there to celebrate our son’s graduation from WVU and it was an unforgettable experience. We will all cherish it for years to come. Cheers to Elisabeth for making it so special!
