Shepherds hut holiday rentals in Conwy Principal Area

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

We loved every minute of our stay. Just big enough for 2 adults and our dog. We loved being outside in the private garden, watching the sea with a glass of wine. The dog loved it too, it was very safe and secure. 45mins flat walk, into the town of Barmouth, via the useful instructions left by Hayley. We ate at Dylans (15mins walk, turn right on the main road) and Bay View (6mins walk turn left on the main road) would recommend both, we didn't book and got a table but I would think you'd need to book during high season. Fantastic stay and we will definitely book to come back.

Barnutopia was our 1st glamping experience and a wonderful one too. I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised by the wonderful time we had. The yurts were lovely, the site had fully equipped kitchen, clean restrooms and we could setup fire pits every night. We even met some lovely families. The place was gorgeous with beautiful views. Being able to have a coffee outside on the tables was my favorite part. Katrina was such a helpful and lovely host. She even brought out some toys for the little ones. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxed holiday.

We had an amazing stay at erw Glamping, everything was clean and very cosy. We loved using the fire heatet hot tub. The only point I would note is that I wish on the listing it was noted that only a certain amount of wood would be provided. In the future I would bring my own wood as there wasn’t enough provided to heat up the hot tub for the entirety of our stay and to make use of the fire pit. But all in all, had a lovely time. Excellent stay! The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and Carol & Dom were such lovely people to meet! The place itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again. Waking up to the Peacock calls and the birds singing was just a DREAM! The best part was Carol let us feed the alpacas. 100% the highlight of our night away! 100% would recommend to anyone! Thanks again guys!! X

it was exactly what we wanted pure peace, weather was amazing as well which we we're lucky with. It looked just like the photo's, the little pond was stunning with lots of wild life. Charlotte was a great host left us to our selves unless we required her. Recommend to anyone who wants peace and quiet. We will be back in the future.

We LOVED the hut, it had everything we needed, we enjoyed every minute. The highlights were the spectacular views, the quiet (not even the noise of a fridge, or pipes or generator!) but easy access to some facilities down the hill to where the hosts share a sink, shower room / toilet, mini-fridge and wall socket for phone! Many thanks to these fantastic hosts!

We stopped here for one night, and it was a perfect little getaway. The hosts were really friendly, meeting us and guiding us to the hut, explaining everything and giving recommendations of what to do in the area. The place itself is extremely private, surrounded by amazing views with a beautiful lake. In terms of amenities it had everything needed. We also took our dog who loved the open space - which is all fenced off. Highlight for us was definitely eating outside with a beautiful sunset. Would definitely recommend 100%

I couldn't make my stay to this properly I had to cancel last minute as my young child was ill. So can only comment on Mike as a communicator. All my messages were answered quickly and kindly. The directions provided to the property looked very clear. Everything else I have based on the countless other reviews I have seen here.

Absolutely gorgeous stay! The place and views are beautiful and with a stunning beach just a short distance away it really does have everything. Trish was so welcoming, we would head back in a heartbeat! Thanks again for everything.

Perfect location, just as described and the perfect spot to relax and unwind - so peaceful and beautiful. I spent every evening on the patio watching the sun go down over the sea, listening to the birds and seeing the bats play. Everything you need is there. It's the best of both worlds - quiet and you feel remote yet only 10 mins max from the beach. Everything was really secure for the dog too - no having to check where she was every 2 mins which meant I could totally relax. Samantha explains everything really clearly which made finding the place, working the hot tub etc a breeze - all really important if you're staying there on your own. She comes back to you really quickly and was a great host.

Both Natalie and her partner (and her gorgeous dog) were so welcoming from the get-go. Gave us all of the necessary information and happy to have a chat with us in the morning! The shepherds hut itself is absolutely stunning and the views are amazing! Perfect way for my friend and I to relax, unwind and get a good night's sleep after 4 nights of camping in the wind and rain. Highly recommend and will definitely be looking to stay again in the future.

had a fab stay. was set in a beutiful setting and the hut itself was stunning. sitting outside with a morning cuppa, hearing the stream go past just rounded off a perfect stay. will definitely be back and make the most of a longer stay next time thats for sure. Thanks Again. :-D

From when we received the clear check-in instructions to the second we opened the door, it was obvious Ruby is a top-tier host. Her place is immaculate, thoughtfully set up, and packed with little extras that made our stay feel special—and all at a fantastic price. The room had everything we needed and more: USBs included in the wall sockets, a smart TV with its own dedicated Airbnb Netflix account, and even a mindful jigsaw puzzle—perfect for the rainy day we ended up with. It’s those thoughtful details that really set Ruby’s place apart. On top of that, Ruby and her partner were incredibly warm and chatty, offering genuinely helpful advice on the best spots around town—local knowledge that actually made a difference to our trip. And their dog was adorable. He popped out a few times to say hi to us all and it melted our hearts. Such a sweet pup! We felt totally at home and really hope they'll have us return to our favourite place again soon :-)

Carol and her gorgeous hut were amazing, the place was spotless, had everything it said it did and Carol made it easy to find with her instructions. There were lovely things for us on arrival to make us comfortable and stocked. Surroundings were beautiful, hot tub was fabulous. It was all a really good stay! One day the weather was rubbish and another was glorious and the place was perfect for both those days so can’t fault it! Would 100% come again

Myself and my girlfriend have just come back from a lovely few days at Hicks hut. We felt very relaxed due to the peaceful location of the hut. We really enjoyed the welcome from the animals too, and Jane even allowed for us to feed them on our final morning. We would definitely visit again!

My son and I had three nights at the shepherds hut and it was the perfect base for exploring Anglesey. The hut was cosy and had everything we needed and I loved watching the birds and beautiful views, it was so peaceful. I honestly can’t fault the hosts of accommodation and we would love to return for longer.

Wow!! From start to finish, our 3 night break here was absolutely fabulous!! The Hut is absolutely spotless, in the most beautiful, private location and has everything you could need! The bed is SO comfy! Would 100% stay again and I cant recommend this place enough! 10/10!!

We had the most wonderful time at this little gem of a place The scenery is beautiful 😍 so stunning Lovely walks around the area that have breathtaking views. Peace and quiet was lovely at night and such comfy beds we slept so well. Garden was brilliant for our little yorkie and was secure so we were confident she couldnt run off to see the sheep! The host communication was perfect so helpful and friendly. Processco on arrival was such a wondeful treat we sat drinking while watching the cows grazing We explored the local area Dolgoch falls were stunning. I couldnt fault anything and can't wait to return

This little shepherd's hut was a wonderful getaway and perfect for our weekend in Angelsey. Mark was always responsive and the hut had everything we needed. It was warm, despite the blustery rain we had. We also felt as if it was very private, even though it's very close to the main house. As well as tea and coffee, there were also lots of decaf options (which was great for me, as I'm pregnant), and Mark and his wife were very friendly and helpful. It is a cosy space, so no good if you plan on having loads of luggage. Beautiful surroundings and a short drive to local shops, restaurants and lovely beaches. We would definitely stay here again.
