Coedfa Hall and the small adjoining house exceeded expectations - it is the most beautiful old house, full of character and charm with more than a dollop of old-world glamour and grandure....everything felt so special and yet we felt right at home. Our host had clearly thought so carefully about meeting guests' needs, with everything you need for a big family get together - well-equipped kitchen, amazing dining room, roaring fires, comfy sofas and a beautiful garden with multiple scenic sitting spots. Such a fantastic place, and amazing walks direct from the house! We will be back for another multi-generational gathering very soon!

Absolutely loved our stay. Clean and had everything we needed. Check in easy and friendly. Large parking area, and pool for swimming if the weather is on your side. Views from the cottage fantastic on a clear day. Great location for access to Snowdon and lovely scenic towns to visit. Would definitely recommend.

Immaculate Lodge and very well equipped. Location was perfect, walking distance to all amenities. Mark & Tracy very helpful and told us there was no rush on checkout, which gave us an easy relaxed morning.

We had an amazing stay, caravan was spotless and Thomas and Emma were very helpful and responsive even tho our stay was a last minute booking. We will definitely be back soon.

Incredible place! Hot tub is a great touch and the place felt comfortable and welcoming. 10/10 recommend. Well worth the money! Adam is an excellent host and very helpful.

We stayed here as a group of work colleagues competing in a walking challenge in the area. Everyone in the group was thrilled with the accommodation and all the little touches provided were an additional bonus. Fabulous accommodation which was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Tracy and Mark kept in contact from booking until we left the property and were so helpful making sure we all had everything we needed! Hot Tub was great - just what we needed after a long day hiking! Thanks so much for making our stay so enjoyable 🙂

Walking distance for our ride on the Blaenau Ffestiniog railway. A visit to Port Mereirion and Swallow Falls at Betws-y-Coed. Thank you Emma a comfortable cottage after a hard day sightseeing.

Absolutely loved our time at the cottage. It was immaculate and had all things we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden and views are stunning! It was lovely to sit out with a cuppa at night and watch the sun set over the hills. It is only a 25 min walk to the promenade or a quick 5 min drive. There is a coop and restaurant nearby too. Can't wait to return. Thank you for having us!

Our family of 4 and our friend’s family of 5 spent a wonderful May Bank holiday in this 5 star property in Llandudno hosted by the equally 5 star Marketa & Jon. Beautiful and well appointed house which caters for all the needs you could ever wish for in a residence for a weekend away.. They have literally thought of literally everything and it’s the small gestures which go a long way -from the welcome hamper on arrival to the amazing games room our kids loved! Perfect location and super responsive hosts who have so much information beforehand from local restaurants to sight seeing -all very much appreciated. Thank you once again and if you are thinking of booking -just do it you will not regret it!

Fantastic location , just steps from the beach and an easy walk to nearby restaurants and bars. The interior of the house matched the listing. Communication with the host was smooth, and check-in and check-out were completely hassle-free. A great spot for a young family or a group of friends looking for a relaxing weekend away.

The place is even more beautiful in person - it is exceptionally immaculately clean. All instructions were easy to find for things in the house, there was a really lovely welcome package when we arrived. We were a small hen party, and it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted, couldn’t fault a thing. Would visit again if the occasion for this size property arose. You have a really beautiful place.

The property has been beautifully refurbished and all finishes and furniture are of a very high specification. All rooms are generously sized. And the cinema room is awesome. The views from the garden are stunning. It all makes for a 5* experience really. Our only comment would be around the communication accuracy. We only stayed two nights (as a base for climbing Snowdon) so wanted to know if we needed to bring consumables like washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, kitchen roll etc. Everything we were told was not provided was actually there when we arrived - except we arrived via the supermarket having bought it! I also think the check-in / check-out could be more flexible for short lets. we were not allowed in before 16.00 on the day of arrival and had to leave by 10.00 on the morning of check-out, with beds stripped and dishwasher run and emptied. Which made for a frenetic and early start on the morning we left.

11 of us (3 families and 3 x dogs) have just had a brilliant bank holiday at Marie’s place. The house is beautiful - even better than the photos - and we had ample room between us. The attention detail was fantastic eg fluffy towels, miniature toiletries, face masks in drawers and we were very impressed by the well stocked kitchen and loved making pizzas on the Ooni! The only thing that was slightly tricky was there was only 1 shower between all of us but it wouldn’t stop us returning and I still think this deserves a 5 * review. Llandudno is lovely - would highly recommend booking a table at The Cottage loaf and the kids enjoyed the Pier/Arcade. We drove to Anglesey too which isn’t too far away. Marie is a fantastic host - really responsive and warm. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome!

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming orchard cottage in North Wales. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is beautifully presented. spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The location is stunning, nestled in peaceful countryside with breathtaking views, yet just a short drive from local towns, scenic walking routes, and the coast. We especially loved the peaceful tranquil of the surrounding areas. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, providing helpful local tips and even leaving a few special touches for our arrival that made us feel so appreciated. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making this a memorable place to stay. We left feeling refreshed and recharged, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Y Gweithdy definitely exceeded expectations - none of us thought the photos did it justice, but it was just what we wanted and extremely comfortable, with everything you might need for a stay. Sonia was very helpful and very responsive - a brilliant host. We already knew the location well, but it's a perfect location to be able to explore everything North Wales has to offer easily by car (or by train). Not a criticism, but we were all used to king/queen size beds, so found the transition to smaller doubles tricky for the first couple of nights, however the bedding and sheets were very comfy. 10/10 stay, will hope to be back!

we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Alan's cottage. It's well situated, with lots to go a see and do in easy driving range. In addition to the lovely sound of the river running past the cottage, we had sun on the patio when we wanted to rest later afternoon & into the evening, with great relaxing views across to the mountains. We're very happy to recommend this cottage

Were just back from a great few days. 8 of us stayed for a family celebration. beautiful house and great amenities. the kitchen is gorgeous and plenty of room with 5 bedrooms. we could walk to the prom and pier , lots of pubs and cafes for food, a really nice area and all close to the house. Will definitely stay again

Great base for young family to explore the North Wales coast. Short drives to Conwy, Llandudno and Anglesey (we loved Anglesey Sea Zoo for a rainy day). Great beach nearby and the house had everything needed for a week's stay. Excellent communication from the host

Great place to stay, but not much parking spaces (although the host offered to give up their space for us) and there is no door in the bath room. So depending if you are going on your own or if you are really comfortable with your partner knowing the intimate details of your daily routine, it is something to consider.
