It met my expectations regarding the type of place I needed to rest, an excellent view from the room free of traffic and you can breathe a tranquility, hot water and place to park. Luis is very friendly and guides you about some places in Cascas, I would come back without hesitation

Lorena, her father, and family are wonderful people. I greatly enjoyed my stay with them. They are truly the best AirBnB hosts I have had. I had the top floor of one of the buildings and it was perfect for a rustic retreat. My bedroom had a little balcony in back that looked out over trees (and sometimes cows or turkeys). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom nicely tiled and clean. The temperature was just right for leaving a window open at night but sleeping under one blanket. The old hacienda house sits on a high spot overlooking the valley 200 meters below. It includes a large country kitchen where visitors can prepare their own meals. The views from the terrace are gorgeous at any time of day or night. The Hacienda Maichil is a perfect place for being in nature. Life here is tranquil and slow. This is a real hacienda. Most of the land is wooded and slopes down towards the river. The main crop comes from the 3,000 mango trees. But there are many more varieties of fruit here to be enjoyed. Lorena made me a glass of the best fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice when I arrived. Farm animals and wildlife are abundant. There are cows, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and dogs roaming the grounds. There are several tilapia ponds among the trees. I'm not a birder, but I was impressed at the many colorful birds in the trees around sunset and hummingbirds that came around during the day.

The house is amazing in every aspect, it is very comfortable. In addition there is the beautiful view , a beautiful place around nature. Mr.Luis is very attentive and kind. He is aware at all times. DEFINITELY the best place to stay.

The house is very welcoming, the place is a little far but if you have mobility it will not be any problem. The place is quiet and safe, but above all, with a warm climate. Recommended!!

Gustavo was very kind and attentive in every way. From picking us up from the square to take us to the house, explaining everything, he gave us a tour of the garden and gave us fresh fries from the garden. The truth is that he is a spectacular host, highly recommended.
