Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Contres

As a couple we had a great time in this apartment. The place is cozy, very good quality and very clean. The bathroom is great and the bed is very comfortable. The little apple juice and cookies were a very pleasant plus. In addition, we were able to store the bikes we rented in a garage that we had autonomy Antoine and Claire welcomed us warmly and are kind and caring hosts. Claire drove us to the train station because we were walking and it was raining ropes, which was a great help, a thousand thanks. I would recommned this property.

hello, Benoît and Sandra's apartment is perfect for a long stay. Very accommodating. We lack nothing. Thank you very much for your welcome gift. Small message for travelers with animals: to respect the premises, remove the carpets and the 3 decorations under the TV. This is what we did as a precaution despite the wisdom of our animals. They may take revenge if you leave them alone. Perfect for 4 people and a baby. Land behind and in front not fenced to walk our dogs while picking up their needs. Private garage and secure location in front of the house. I highly recommend the Gervaisien apartment. Sandra runs a grocery store in the village and will welcome you with a big smile. We were only there for one day and it was the perfect spot, very spacious and clean, in the centre of this cute little town. It’d be great for a longer stay. Just downstairs and around the corner is the main road with all the shops and restaurants. We see no other reviews with a responsiveness issue, so we just got unlucky; we’d agreed on a 2:30pm check-in upon booking, we messaged the host the day of check-in at 9:30am to touch base, and she only replied an hour before check-in to inform us it wasn’t available until 3:30pm instead. We only had one day there and it caused us to rush through exploring one of the two castles we had planned on seeing. If you need a place to store your bags before the unit is available, take note it’s on the first floor in a communal space under the stairs to go up to the unit. It’s a very safe town but we just didn’t want to risk it so we put them on the staircase leading to the unit (3rd floor). Also FYI - The spiral staircase is very steep and narrow.

This place was Spacious; very Spacious for just my husband and I. Loved It!! Walking distance for a lot of stores and restaurants. If You really want to treat yourself go to Le Reserve-it was amazing!! Get the Apple for dessert. Eating at and living near the Clock Tower and an easy walk to the Chateau d’ Amboise was perfect. Take a cold bottle of water if you’re walking to Leonardo Di Vinci’s home. It’s worth the walk, but it is a workout, especially with no Cold Water. The chime on the Clock Tower at the 1/2 hr made me smile. Reminded me I was in France every-time! I think it stopped at 6 pm daily. I would not only return I would live here!! Merci

Loved the place, large beautiful green outdoor space. It was quiet and spacious space. Outdoor furniture. Secure premises. Philippe and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. The bakery a few doors down beside the meat market is to die for! The train station is a 7 minute walk away. Pleasant walk across the river to old Ambois town centre.

Highly recommended. Sophie is incredibly responsive and helpful. Her place is fantastic and is one of, if not the best equipped Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot all over the US and Europe). Super comfortable all around and a spectacular central location. Ample free parking under a minute walk from her door. Multiple great restaurants within a five minute walk.

We spent 3 days at Lydie's. No complaints, everything was perfect! the house is great, very clean, very functional and the bedding is great! Parking large enough to park our long vehicle and enclosed garden for children. Lydie and her husband are super nice and very welcoming. I highly recommend .

We had a very good stay with friends and our children. Christophe welcomed us and we toured the property together. Listing exactly matches the photos and description. 30 minutes from the zoo, we were able to enjoy the pool and the children were delighted! The house is in a peaceful and very well maintained place. Christophe was available if needed but everything necessary was already in place to have a good stay! I highly recommend it!

You can't find a better service that perfectly matches the description on the site. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or proposal for improvement are very commendable. But as it is specified in many opinions published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already at the top. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the general situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their place.

Very nice welcome and very nice apartment. A gigantic and very pleasant terrace in the afternoon. Everything is very relaxing and reassuring. Another positive point, the accommodation is very close to the train station and shuttles.

We had a lovely time at the Poulain cottage. Château de Blois and the Museum of Magic are reached by foot in less than 10 minutes. Shops are also within walking distance. The private parking space included with the rental is a real plus. This allows you to leave the car during the stay. In addition to the exceptional location of the cottage, it has been renovated in the former home of Mr. Poulain founder of the brand in his name, and the cottage has been tastefully decorated with posters of the brand. Documents (TV documentary, book) on the history of the Poulain brand are available in the cottage to make the stay also a cultural moment. We highly recommend it. Thanks a lot
