Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Le Controis-en-Sologne

As a couple we had a great time in this apartment. The place is cozy, very good quality and very clean. The bathroom is great and the bed is very comfortable. The little apple juice and cookies were a very pleasant plus. In addition, we were able to store the bikes we rented in a garage that we had autonomy Antoine and Claire welcomed us warmly and are kind and caring hosts. Claire drove us to the train station because we were walking and it was raining ropes, which was a great help, a thousand thanks. I would recommned this property.

The accommodation is very well located, in a quiet neighborhood close to the historic center of the city. It also offers a beautiful view of the Loire and the castle! We particularly appreciated the tranquility of the place.

This was the perfect place to stay in the Loire Valley! Central to all the chateau’s while being in a charming small walkable town with a train station 15 min walk away. I came without a car and still had the opportunity to visit 4 chateau’s and even take a hot air balloon ride above them all. It was such a relaxing spot. I could do my laundry and rest which was great for my 6 week stint in Europe. Raphael’s place was way better than described. It is a 10/10 for me and a wonderful value! The host was very responsive and helpful. Book now if you want the best of the Loire in a peaceful authentic setting.

Loved the place, large beautiful green outdoor space. It was quiet and spacious space. Outdoor furniture. Secure premises. Philippe and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. The bakery a few doors down beside the meat market is to die for! The train station is a 7 minute walk away. Pleasant walk across the river to old Ambois town centre.

Highly recommended. Sophie is incredibly responsive and helpful. Her place is fantastic and is one of, if not the best equipped Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot all over the US and Europe). Super comfortable all around and a spectacular central location. Ample free parking under a minute walk from her door. Multiple great restaurants within a five minute walk.

What a wonderful apartment in a historic home, right in the center of town. It was an easy stroll to many restaurants, and we had lots of good suggestions for eateries from Delphine. It was a short drive to many castles, and a short walk to the castle in town. The apartment was clean and she had everything necessary for a wonderful visit.

Our 2 nights in Blois we made extra special with our stay at this AirBnb. Perfect location a block or 2 away from all the restaurants, shopping and chateau’s. Plenty of amenities and everything was exactly as listed. It was lovely to have coffee in the morning on the cute patio while we planned our day. Thanks again Eddy. Note: if you are driving, the parking spot for this AirBnb courtyard is little. Large cars or SUV’s will need to find street parking. That being said our mid-sized rental fit and it was nice to park secure behind a locked gate.

We spent 3 days at Lydie's. No complaints, everything was perfect! the house is great, very clean, very functional and the bedding is great! Parking large enough to park our long vehicle and enclosed garden for children. Lydie and her husband are super nice and very welcoming. I highly recommend .

We had a very good stay with friends and our children. Christophe welcomed us and we toured the property together. Listing exactly matches the photos and description. 30 minutes from the zoo, we were able to enjoy the pool and the children were delighted! The house is in a peaceful and very well maintained place. Christophe was available if needed but everything necessary was already in place to have a good stay! I highly recommend it!

The orangery in the castle park had everything to please. Free access to the park and forest, great tranquility and great comfort. Valerie gave us a very good restaurant address and the castles of the Loire Valley were very close. A perfect stay. Thanks to her.

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

We only spent one night there, the accommodation is perfect. It has everything, super equipped. Didn't have time to enjoy the garden... too bad. The owner is very responsive to emails, very good exchanges to recommend

An excellent stay at the Hirondelles cottage, which made us happy for this family weekend with a beautiful setting and wonderful hosts. An address to absolutely recommend in Sologne!

This is the second time we have booked the accommodation and we are very satisfied. It is a quiet, convenient accommodation, there are restaurants nearby, a small park for children, supermarkets and it is right next to the zoo which is very convenient! The host is very kind and adapts very well to requests.

You can't find a better service that perfectly matches the description on the site. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or proposal for improvement are very commendable. But as it is specified in many opinions published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already at the top. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the general situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their place.

We had a great time at Marie-Paule's house with our 15-month-old daughter. The apartment is spacious and nice. We enjoyed the terrace which is a real plus! The apartment is well equipped with cooking utensils etc. and it is right next to the train station and Château de Blois so very well located. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a lovely time at the Poulain cottage. Château de Blois and the Museum of Magic are reached by foot in less than 10 minutes. Shops are also within walking distance. The private parking space included with the rental is a real plus. This allows you to leave the car during the stay. In addition to the exceptional location of the cottage, it has been renovated in the former home of Mr. Poulain founder of the brand in his name, and the cottage has been tastefully decorated with posters of the brand. Documents (TV documentary, book) on the history of the Poulain brand are available in the cottage to make the stay also a cultural moment. We highly recommend it. Thanks a lot
