Great accomodation, perfect for short break to see a show at Utilita Arena. Walking distance into the centre of town and walked back from the show at the arena. Lovely view across the river, and great walk along the river to bars and restaurants. Had everything needed in the accommodation and host was responsive and helpful.

Wonderful hosts; friendly and responsive. Great location that was close to the main shops, pubs and restaurants in Hexam as well as for visiting Hadrian's Wall. Extremely well equipped and clean. Highly recommend.

This was a great find. Alison has catered for every little detail - experience built up over many years. The generosity of the welcome hamper and milk in the fridge was really appreciated. We had two excellent evening meals at the Milecastle Inn and would thoroughly recommend, as Alison had.

We had a lovely stay at Will & Dawn’s place. They’re very friendly and helpful in providing all the instructions and information we needed ahead of our trip. Our children love playing (and feeding!) their rabbits & hamsters and the indoor heated swimming pool was simply a bonus to have when it’s raining outside. The place was very cosy & clean and it’s a great location to explore Northumberland!

The setting was perfect too—peaceful, charming, and a great base for exploring the area. What really made the experience stand out were the hosts. Super friendly and welcoming, with incredible local knowledge that totally upgraded my trip. From hidden gems to the best spots to eat and explore, their tips made all the difference. We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

Easy to find, beach 5 mins from property, the house was well kitted out and very dog friendly, within easy reach of shops. Be aware of the places to walk your dog on the beach ( times of the year) as the neighbour pointed out they fine you £1000 and have wardens who do check. We used the house as a base to discover the stunning coast line / Villages, Holy Island a must see. Gary was a great host and left fresh bread and milk /juice for when we arrived. We would recommend this place

we needed a place to stay for 3 of us as we were spending the weekend at the Beamish museum. 15 mins away it was perfect for our needs. Joan was helpful and responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better host. highly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous house in a beautiful location. Everything was spotless. Angela was a brilliant host, and left lots of extra finishing touches to make our stay 10/10. We will definitely stay here again, and would recommend in a heartbeat.

Lovely place and was clean+smelt nice upon entering, hosts were fast at replying and attended to all questions asked. The stairs are a little crazy and definitely different but made staying there funnier - only thing I would say that was a negative about the whole thing was the wobbly stair railing but besides from that a nice quiet area with a cosy hot tub. Thanks guys!

Lovely spot for a family get away. House was just as described, amazing bathrooms and bedrooms, perfect garden for the dog. Lovely village and central for exploring the area - just what we needed.

Very spacious, well decorated, comfy beds, lining and towels. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Very near Durham and lots of natural areas around. Donna was always very responsive and kind. Would definitely return!

A smart, modern apartment, very well equipped, walkable to the local bars, pubs and shops. Cannot complain.

From the moment we arrived Barry and Sue went out of their way to make us feel at home and aware of all that Richmond and its locality had to offer. The apartment was meticulously clean, so well furnished and comfortable and everything we would want for using the equipment and services as well as local guide books etc. the location was brilliant for a stay in Richmond which itself was a surprise and really enjoyable. Highly recommended.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a long weekend celebrating with family who live locally. The apartment was perfect, great location, clean, and just want we needed. The hot tub was a complete win with our children. The courtyard is private and a real sun trap. We will be back.

Myself, my partner and friends visited for the weekend and had a fab time. Lesley-Ann was a brilliant host and the apartment was beautiful in the perfect location. The handbook was filled with loads of info on things to do, recommended restaurants and bars etc. Would 100% stay again and would recommend highly ❤️

Communication has been excellent since the day I booked to the day you met us when we arrived. Seeing my parents smiles when we walked in told me I had made the right choice, you were so welcoming and the views from the living room are amazing, everything was fantastic and your advice on where to go for the football was perfect 👌🏻 Communication has been excellent and it was so good to meet you on our arrival, hopefully we will return in the near future as there are still many places to return to for more reminiscing.

We were met by our welcoming host who provided us with all the necessary information. The apartment was top notch, Karen really has perfected the art of providing a home from home environment. For us the location was close enough to the city centre to enable access to the transport networks and other visitor attractions yet far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of the lively toon. we would love to make a return visit to Karen's apartment.
