Holiday rentals with a kayak in Connacht

Our stay at John’s charming Boathouse, recently, was wonderful from start to finish. The sea view was mesmerising, the sea-scented clean air a treat to breathe, the garden tranquil and inviting and the beach the icing on the cake. Walking into The Boathouse for the first time was like the warm hug of coming home. The location is safe and welcoming, the locals friendly and open. John himself is engaging, friendly, always on hand if needed and full of friendly tips and conversation. We loved staying here and it was hard to say goodbye.

We had the most gorgeous stay. The accommodation was perfect, really clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and all in the most spectacular location! We loved every minute of our time in this very special place!

Breda was lovely and helpful. Our kids loved the use of lake and canoe, down every evening. Would definitely stay here again if going down, lovely big spacious house.

We spent a week at Marks house. The house is spacious and very comfortable including the beds. The back yard is very private and welcoming with picnic table and benches. Beautiful area within easy walk to village and Bunown beaches. Easy drive to Old Head and other beaches for kayaking and surfing. There is a great coffee shop in town. Mark was very helpful and responsive. We hope to return.

The Pink House was the perfect place for us in Dromod. Henry and Naomi were easy to contact, helpful, thoughtful and extremely welcoming and went beyond our expectations with a wonderful welcome food basket. The house is easy to find, modern, warm and outfitted with everything you could possibly need. Walk to shop, train station, pub/restaurant and pier. It delivered and then some. Thank you for making us feel at home on our trip. We will return and recommend to others.

House was so nice. Everything we could need was there. Towels, cooking equipment, toiletries. House finished to a very high standard and very clean. Also had milk, eggs, tea, coffee and even a loaf of fresh bread! TamiJoy was very responsive with any questions we had. The house was warm and plenty of room to park. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful place, thoroughly enjoyed my Stay in Leitir and already planning to go back. Anne's place is a great location to explore North and Sputh Donegal or just to stay in one place in the gorgeous surroundings. Dooey beach is gorgeous and the Wild Atlantic Way Sauna a wonderful find. Pop in to see Packie for a Pint and feel like a local, don't forget cash and to sign the visitor book. Friday Trad Music in Elliots a must see and the food in McCaffreys is delicious. Eagles nest has a menagerie of animals, say hello to Bob the Horse, he love Pears 😉, and the dog Bonny and the chickens are also happy to see visitors. Anne was a wonderful host and went above to ensure our stay was enjoyable, I'll definitely be returning

Loved the location and felt very at home straightaway - felt private and secure within the grounds of the estate with easy access to the the main house to Brian (Host) if required Cashel is a simply beautiful place and was such a highlight in our travels - would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for our restful stay Brian and will definitely come back for another visit only it will be for longer next time! Thank you again Meredith & Fay

We were there for the second time, great place and quiet area. Fishing and kayaking was very relaxing. I recommend it 100%. We will be going back there.🙂

Friendly host and only to anxoous to please. Sorted a problem with the water (from a well) by working from early morning until it was finished. Great area and we did the walks that we were told about.

Lovely cozy cottage overlooking the water with great outdoor terrace and a sauna to warm up after a cold swim at nearby Clahane. The cottage is a short drive to Lahinch, the Burren, and the Cliffs of Moher, and a short walk to some lovely pubs and eateries in nearby Liscannor. Highly recommended!

Francis was a very good host to us, forthcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in the simple, yet beautiful cottage and especially having some farm animals around.

Our stay was wonderful. The turf and wood for the stove were delightful and the cottage was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen was fully functional and we were able to cook our breakfast, tea was provided and a lovely pastry too! The location is quiet with a small village center in walking distance and a beautiful church down the road. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Donegal!

very enjoyable few days in beautiful surroundings. Both Mike & Guy quick to respond to any questions that we had. Hard to pick any faults & the fact we are already considering booking for next year says it all i think.

Had a lovely stay ar Robyns. The lodge was exactly as described, brilliant location for all of Fermanaghs tourists spots. Highly recommend the hot tub at the end of the day!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Paul was very welcoming and great to chat with. If you want a quiet, peaceful place to stay then this is it. The cabin was perfect. The fact Paul supplies fresh eggs, bread and jam for breakfast is just an added bonus! Would highly recommend this place.

Loved our stay here! The house was super cozy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a huge bonus. perfect for relaxing after a day out. It’s in a great spot too, just a short walk to the park and river, which was really nice for morning walks. Would definitely come back!

A fantastic house in a very beautiful secluded woodland , the lake is literally at the end of the driveway and so was perfect for relaxing or fishing. The house inside was very well thought out, with an extremely well equipped kitchen and very well stocked with towels, toiletries and cleaning products Would definitely recommend
