Lovely Stone Country Cottage

EricRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was cosy, peaceful, and felt like a true home - exactly what we needed during a time of transition. The location is beautiful, with Branscombe Beach just a short drive away and Colyton village full of charm and kind people. Christine was a thoughtful, communicative host and everything was exactly as described. We’d happily stay again. Thank you, Christine.

Walnut Nook - private suite with own entrance

LaurentRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Very cosy place. Felt right at home. Exactly what I needed to rest after a long hiking day from Sidmouth. Easily reachable by bus from seaton seafront if you don’t have a car. Walking back to Seaton through the Seaton wetland was very beautiful (thanks to Louise’s instructions). Lovely stay. Thank you.

"Potting Shed", Dalwood, Near Axminster

SteveRating, 5 stars4 days ago
As a base to explore the Jurassic coast it’s a superb location, allowing for peaceful evenings after a tiring day out. Enjoy a drink by a scenic pond in a very well managed garden as the sun sets was right up our street. The kitchen is fully equipped for 2 guests and the twin beds combined into one large bed allows for a perfect nights sleep. The bathroom is compact but fully functional with a decent sized shower. Ample parking outside the property. The village pub is an historic building with some of it dating back to the 12th century and the food is excellent. There are plenty of restaurants / pubs in the area as well as nature reserves, woodland walks and coastal treats, the water is blue and the beaches vary between stoney to Sandy. Be prepared to pay for parking everywhere with the price increased between April and September. The Seaton Tramway was fun and a drive down to Labrador Bay allowed us to watch Dolphins and the rare Cirl Bunting. The is too much to do.

Lovely place, very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely gesture by the host with the bottle of Prosecco thank you 😊 Claire was very helpful and responsive to messages. Before the trip she sent us some information for things in the area, places to eat etc, was very helpful. Lovely little hide away, nice and private. Just as the pictures showed, Beautiful. Hampton View Holiday Barns, The Dairy, Whitford.

SaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Exceeded our expectations. Really homely, spotlessly clean and tidy and well presented, in beautiful rural village setting. Ideal base for exploring, only 15 mins from Seaton and Lyme Regis. Excellent communication and personal touches from hosts. Hopefully will return!

2 Holiday caravans at Colcombe Abbey Farm, Colyton, Devon

AnnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We booked both caravans for ourselves and grown up children for the weekend. A super location being a short walk into Colyton but so peaceful too. Both caravans were very well equipped with everything you’d need for a short break or longer stay. We all agreed we’d be happy to stay again and are planning to do so again one day.

Little Sails.Cosy flat, 3 min walk to Seaton beach

BeatriceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a perfect short stay here! Helen's communications were especially friendly and helpful. The accommodation was just right for a family of four, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the many thoughtful touches throughout (such as a welcome note, lavender bags on pillows, provision of milk enough for us all for our breakfasts, toys for the children including a hilarious interactive duck, lounge blankets, bathroom flannels, table napkins etc.). The apartment has everything you might need including umbrellas, and much more. Parking is indeed easy and very closeby. The beach and Seafield Gardens with a good playground) are a short walk away. There is so much to do in the area. We enjoyed the nearby Donkey Sanctuary and Lyme Regis, and are keen to return to explore more sometime.
