Holiday rentals with a kayak in Columbia County

Great place to stay. The host made our stay extra special with holiday decorations and a bottle of wine to enjoy. Very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful area with an old Florida feel. Perfect for a family gathering. Kayaks, ping pong, fire pit, and nature to observe. Loved watching the deer and gazing into the River. Charming!

Another way of giving directions for finding the home for the first time: When you turn left as soon as you come through the gate, keep going on that road until you see a street sign that says Riverside Circle. Make a left and then it’s the first house on your right. I've stayed in a good number of Airbnb's & this one is the best one I've been to. The house is simply beautiful & the decorations are tasteful. The privacy is divine. The grounds large. Good outdoor chairs, including for a couple of kids. Shade on the dock in the afternoon. Lake can be a brown tea like color (from tannins) & murky. Stairs might make your calves scream. We lowered our bags down with a rope. Great to have outdoor sink on balcony. Great to have screened in eating spot. Beds & furniture better than average rental. Host is a super host for a reason.

I didn't want to leave! I've been to this area many times and this was hands down the best house I've ever rented. The rooms are comfortable and bright with stunning views and the house is so centrally located-- just steps from a boat ramp and 10 minutes from Ichetucknee springs south entrance. The town of Fort White is a real gem: don't miss the produce stand, the taco truck, Maggies (which will open soon) and a beer at Suicide Opossum for their great (free) popcorn. Mark was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to be responsive and helpful during my week long stay. I will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a nice Florida Vaca without the hustle of all the busy towns this home and city are the PERFECT spot. very peaceful and beautiful. plenty of room for everyone, everything you need to cook and make meals or just to order in, lots of games to play, and the backyard was absolutely amazing and so serene. needless to say we didn't want to leave. 100/10 recommend!! The host mary was very responsive and one of the best host we have communicated with.

Our stay at Hefziba’s listing was a family favorite and one of the best vacations we have taken together in a long time. We are an outdoorsy Florida family and this home on the ichetucknee was a dream come true for us. We have spend past family vacation visiting different springs throughout Florida and we loved this location so much, that we have all voted to visit Hefziba’s place again in the near future. The home was stacked with games and activities for my children- ranging from college age to elementary school age. We brought our own floats and paddle boards, but the Airbnb provided paddle boards and kayaks also.The community beach was a wonderful way to start and end each day outside, while fitting and long float or paddle board in each day. We have been home for one day and are already missing this place on the springs. The beds were comfortable, and the entire Airbnb was well loved, but extremely clean. Thank you for an incredible time 💗

This place had everything we hoped for: a fully equipped kitchen for making great meals, beautiful views from inside the light-filled and airy interiors, the ability to explore and enjoy the great outdoors using the kayaks and bikes, or just sit in the yard and observe all the wildlife around you. A firepit thoughtfully stocked with plenty of firewood and ample seating was perfect for extending the fun at night. Situated on the Santa Fe River, and just steps from a local, popular swimming hole, we kayaked up and down the river and appreciated the short drive to Itcheetucknee State Park for a lovely float trip. A nicely curated music collection, board games and library of books filled with local info kept us entertained when we wanted to cool off in the a/c. This home has earned a spot on our short list, and we would return again!
