Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Cologne

We had a very nice time at Michael's place. It is located in a quiet street with plenty of parking. Michael was always available and answered our questions quickly. We were very warmly welcomed and guided through the house. Already during the tour we noticed how well the house is equipped with towels, hair dryer, sufficient dishes and cutlery, spices for cooking, WiFi and much more. All rooms were tidy, clean and very lovingly furnished. We had more than enough space for 8. We felt very comfortable right away. Thanks to Michael for the wonderful accommodation:)

We had a wonderful stay in this little forest cottage! It is a bit remote and is perfect to rest, yet close to Cologne, if you want to experience something 😀 really a perfect starting point! The facility is designed with a lot of love, everything is really cozy and completely clean. We felt very comfortable from the first minute. The communication was very, very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be happy to come back when we are in the area.

It was a wonderful stay! We really fell in love with this house. It is very cosy and nice, we had everything we needed to relax in the pesceful surrounding of nature. The host was very kind and fast in reponding, ready to help with all requsts. We did't want to leave.

Cozy and spacious apartment in a great, well-connected location! I felt very comfortable. Quiet street, but may not be suitable for people who are sensitive to noise, because of the nearby S-Bahn. It didn't bother me.

We enjoyed our short trip with the group very much and had a great time in this very beautiful and spacious location. I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Frechen, just outside Cologne. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was comfortable, Wi-Fi was reliable (important for working remotely), and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The host was very friendly and responsive, providing clear check-in instructions and some great local tips. We had a great stay at Michael's apartment. It really is quite spacious! Bed & couch are very comfy, the patio is beautiful and so peaceful, kitchen is super cute, and the location is amazing. Literally steps away from restaurants, groceries, and lovely walks in general. Easy to access the city centre, public transit, etc. There was some confusion at the check-in (not Michael's fault, but the English-translated instructions made things confusing—it turns out you have to enter the building then take the stairs that are at the right). But Michael was friendly and responsive and helped us get in! The apartment is very cute, but because it is old, it does come with its little quirks: the sink in kitchen is very shallow and water comes out a bit crazy, the bathroom fan is very loud and you have to leave it on after you shower. And there wasn't much room for us to hang or store our clothes. All that said, it was a great place to stay and I do recommend it! Great value for the price.

The stay at Sigrid's place was great. The environment is quiet, peaceful and transport is close. Other amenities (coffee, convenience stores) are also not far away. Sigrid was proactive during our exchanges, and the accommodation is welcoming, cozy and comfortable. I won't hesitate to go back if I go to Cologne again!

We loved staying in this AirBnB. It was so, so quiet, clean and comfortable. It looks even better than the photos! The garden was lovely too. We stayed with our 2 year old who loved playing outside after a day exploring! The shower is amazing, the bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need! The train is an easy five minute walk from the house and you can be at the Cologne cathedral in 15 min or less! We highly recommend staying here if you visit Cologne. It’s so nice to have such a quiet, relaxing place to return to after a day of being in the city. Last, but not least - the hosts are amazing. They are kind, friendly, and welcoming people. We loved meeting them and hope to return one day!

We were Elke's guests in Wolkennest for a month. We felt like at home from the beginning. Elke and Jörg were very accommodating and very likeable. We have always been provided with fresh linens and towels by Elke - we did not expect that at all. The Wolkennest is cozy and stylishly furnished. We lacked nothing - the apartment is super equipped and everything is very clean and well maintained. The bed was also very comfortable, so we also had relaxed nights and a good sleep. Our privacy was also guaranteed, as the apartment is on a different floor than Elke and Jörg's premises. The location of the apartment is also great - supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity, and you can quickly reach the Rhein-Center in Cologne by bus. It was also great that we could use a car parking space there. We loved it there and we can only recommend it!

Sabine was very friendly. The apartment is spacious, beautiful, everything is abundantly available, very extensive. And really sparkling clean Top We had a nice walk and bike ride. Center close by walking within 15 minutes. Restaurant fully present. In short, I recommend everyone to stay here. Not a garden, but a bench was also nice to sit outside.

We stayed for 2 days to discover Cologne and the beautiful area. Everything was nearby and was very nice. The cottage in it too, after a busy day we could find our peace again in the house. Great!

Very nice cozy apartment with everything you need for a multi-day stay. Even coffee, tea, pesto, noodles were available. Very nice hosts. Apartment is located on a busy street, but bedroom is to the yard side and quiet.
