A lovely self contained studio situated a ten minute walk from the beautiful market town of Cockermouth. With ample free parking, and great wifi. Our studio has its own private entrance and key lock box. Inside there is a fully fitted kitchen, large flat screen TV, 2 seater recliner sofa, dining area, king sized bed(or can be split into 2 single beds with prior notice) en-suite shower room with complimentary toiletries and towels plus a decent hairdryer.

This was a great place and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The caravan was spotless and cosy. It's compact but had everything we needed. The living room and kitchen are particularly well thought out. I enjoyed the view over the fells in the distance although the misty weather meant they weren't clear. We didn't walk into Cockermouth this time although we could have, and we like the town. One day we parked at nearby Powter Howe and walked up to Seat How for a shortish but quite steep walk - a lot of this is under trees so great for a rainy day. It's an easy drive into Keswick for more walking, cafes and restaurants. We took a bus from Keswick down Borrowdale and walked back along the lake shore. We didn't want to come home, but needs must! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Our second stay at The Toll Cottage Superb location on the river cocker and only a short walk to lots of great pubs / eating places Lovely sitting out with a beer and wine on the rivers edge (when weather allowed) Cottage is compact and ideal for the two of us and our black lab. Nice local dog walks Ideal location for exploring The Lakes with good bus network Car park right next to the cottage and included in the cost Alan is a great host, great communication and very responsive

Nice place, clean and nice view. Sufficient amenities and have a good and convenient car park. Linda always has prompt response and helpful.
