Cottage holiday rentals in Clitheroe

Lovely cottage and surrounding canals/area. Our family had a great time celebrating my husbands 40th birthday. Amy was a fantastic host, accommodating special requests for bday decor and cake. Prior to our stay gave us recommendations of places to take our children and local trains etc. Then during our stay answered my questions very quickly. The cottage itself is beautiful, lovely decor, cosy and has a relaxing feel to it. On arrival we had a welcome basket with little treats and all the little extras like toiletries, washing up tabs etc were available. The hot tub was great, we used it three times during our stay! Our kids were able to play in the large garden and there were lots of games/toys at the cottage to keep them busy. Overall - we couldn’t recommend Top Locks cottage more! We had the best time staying here and would love to come and stay again.

What a wonderful place for a peaceful break away. The house was so comfortable with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was a lovely addition too! My son, who loves wildlife photography, absolutely adored the river. He spent every possible moment down there photographing Kingfishers! I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves birds and wildlife.

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

absolute amazing, everyone was gutted to be leaving even the dog, what a stunning house and it's settings, can't wait to be booking to come back.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was super sweet and perfect for a calm getaway. The home was decorated well and could tell it was well thought with extra touches such as Prosecco, mini chocolates and robes. Would definitely stay again and the hosts helped us with the hot tub. Thank you!

Charming and full of character, with fabulous pool and hot tub. Loved our stay with family. Granddaughter filled with excitement throughout our stay.

Booked for our 20th wedding anniversary and used for a base to explore Skipton and a day out in York. Close enough to Skipton to enjoy the town and the night life. The Granary was immaculate. Hot Tub amazing and already planning a second visit. The location is stunning, peaceful and we enjoyed every minute .

What a Beautiful cottage to stay in. Full of character and charm , spotless and comfortable with so much space. Lovely gardens with a hot tub that was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you to Laura and Sue who greeted us on our arrival.

Lovely little cottage very clean and well appointed. Bit of road noise but you soon get used to it. Great location for the Dales and Gargrave which is a very attractive village in itself. The cottage is by itself which is superb if you need peace and quiet. A period cottage with character and very pleasant views. Garden is relaxing and self contained. Laura was very efficient and communicated well. I will be returning.

A really great location and well equipped for a couple with a dog. The small patio was lovely to sit at in the sunshine. Stephen really responsive and helpful to messages. Would recommend

We had an amazing 2-night stay at Jane’s place. The house is absolutely beautiful and set in breathtaking surroundings—the photos really don’t do it justice, as the real thing is far more exquisite. The decor is warm and homely, yet spacious enough to comfortably fit the five of us. Both bathrooms were spotless—one with a shower and the other with a bathtub, which gave us the flexibility to choose. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including ample fridge space. The garden is also worth mentioning—gorgeous and clearly very well cared for. We especially loved the fireplace; it truly felt like the cherry on top of an already perfect stay. The house manual was detailed and extremely helpful, covering everything we needed to know. Jane was a wonderful host—so warm and thoughtful. She welcomed us with a lovely letter and some delicious biscuits, which made us feel right at home from the start. Highly recommended!

The cottage was ideal for our four night visit to the area with two young children. The cottage was clean, pretty, and comfortable, with thoughtful notes around the house to make everything easy to find. The lovely window seat overlooking the river was a favourite spot and the gorgeous garden were we could eat outside watching the wildlife over the river was perfect and so peaceful! The folder of useful places to visit was super handy and the children loved the local walks and in particular the fabulous tea room (great menu for adults and children). It’s only 30 minutes to the bottom of the lakes and caves and waterfalls within 20min meant there was lots to see for us as a young family. Claire was really helpful in her recommendations and she has a friendly neighbour who was happy to guide us too. The village is a lovely community of welcoming people. The children particularly loved the house for the river, the games room and the treats that Claire left in the kitchen to welcome us!

A beautifully renovated cottage ideally located for our visit. Everything in the cottage has been finished to a very high standard making it comfortable and practical without fussiness. Tracey was quick to respond to any questions and the welcome pack provided all the information we needed.

Have just come home from the most perfect stay at Rose Cottage. The pictures do not do the cottage justice, absolutely gorgeous! Fran is the most incredible host, so kind, friendly and helpful. And had thought of everything we could possibly need and so much more! We will definitely be coming back to stay at Rose Cottage, without hesitation. Thank you again Fran!

We had a very relaxing stay at Max's place and wish we could have stayed longer! The location is great, the house is tucked away but close to some great pubs and walks. Lovely, friendly village. Cottage would be a great option at any time of the year, would recommend :).

Barn Cottage exceeded our expectations. Set in the most beautiful landscape. The cottage was clean, cosy, had everything we needed and more (games room with lots of games, books and a football table!) and the private garden was just stunning. My friend and I went to do the 3 peaks so was the great location not far away from the start point to rest and recover! The icing on the cake was meeting and feeding the cute Pygmy goats and chickens. Loved our stay, would 100% stay again

Sally and David’s place was beautiful. It was decorated tastefully and was just the right size for the two of us and our border terrier We were welcomed by a box of goodies for the three of us! There was a great pub and a cafe in Hebden, both within easy walking distance and the surrounding countryside was just lovely.

Christine's cottage is in an excellent location and beautifully maintained. She's a helpful and friendly host. Everything about the stay was excellent and I'm looking forward to coming back as this area of the world is a hidden gem.

Really enjoyed our stay - perfect location in the quiet charming village of Chipping. The accommodations were perfect, very comfortable.

Beautifully presented and cleaned self contained unit attached to owner’s house. Has a large double ended bath and separate shower. Very peaceful location. Thoughtful touches such as large good quality towels, some provisions, biscuits, tea & coffee etc. Plenty of kitchen equipment. We had a brief and minor problem. Messaged Linda and she was at the door within minutes to sort it out. Very friendly and helpful, but didn’t intrude. Didn’t hear any noise from owners. Good base to explore the area including Skipton, Ilkley etc. The Bull at Broughton had great food. Wood definitely come here again. You will need your car, but we knew that.

This property is excellent - if six stars could be awarded for a property, this would be the one. I don't think that Julia has forgotten about anything. Whatever you need during your stay, you'll find it here. The property is very tastefully decorated and furnished and it is clean and tidy. The shower is excellent, the bed is comfortable, the wifi works, the provisions for breakfast are perfect. You'll enjoy your stay!!

Spent a lovely weekend at Acorn Cottage. Elizabeth was extremely friendly and accommodating. One of the nicest quaint getaways I have had. Loved the short walk into town and having a local shop so close by. 10/10!

We had a lovely stay at Bobbin Cottage. It is really cosy , comfortable and well equipped, with a lovely small garden. It is in an excellent location right in the heart of the wonderful UNESCO world heritage site of Saltaire with Salts Mill and local shops, cafes and amenities. It is also just a 5 minute walk from the station with fast and frequent trains into Bradford (we used it as a base for a festival we were involved with in Bradford). And also, excellent and really friendly communication from Jackie.

I just stayed for one night because I had a wedding nearby but it was lovely. Sarah was very friendly and helpful. The place was cozy and comfortable which was especially nice coming in late from the wedding. Parking was easy to find on the street in front of the house. It may also seem small but it was a lovely surprise to find a Moka pot and fresh ground coffee in the cupboard in the morning. As a coffee drinker in the UK it was very appreciated. Overall very impressed, I wish I could've stayed longer!
