Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Clay County

We had an absolutely delightful experience staying at Second Door Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations for our group. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need. The beds was incredibly comfortable, and the little thoughtful touches, like multiple air mattresses made it feel like a home away from home for the big group we had. This stay is great for sports teams and keeping the players, coaches and parents in one spot! Couldn't ask for more!

Cottage in the country was just what we needed for our weekend in KC. Great location for Kauffman and Arrowhead games. Lots of options for other entertainment and places to eat. Very nice 3 bedroom 2 bath getaway. Beds and pillows were some of the best.

The place was really nice with an amazing location. The area was really convenient for us and our family; it was super close to downtown KC and the local trails and parks. Thank you Julie and Joe for everything once again!

Jennifer was amazing. She was always responsive and went well above and beyond what any other host would. She was always checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was in a nice neighborhood with plenty of privacy. No matter what type of mattress you prefer there is a bed there to suit your needs. My husband and I travel for his job and Jennifer by far was the best host we have ever had. If we are in this area again there is no place I would rather stay.

Nikki was great to work with. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Felt like we were right at home. They communicated well and gave us all the details we needed. Would recommend to other guests looking for a home away from home for a few days.

We loved our stay! We relaxed on the back deck and were able to watch deer as they passed through the green space behind the home in the evenings! It was close to good restaurants and lots of things to do for the whole family! The purpose of our trip was to move my daughter’s family back to MS. Zach was so flexible and allowed us to park the U-Haul in front of the home overnight before we left the next am! This really made the move go much smoother than we anticipated! Any question we had, he responded very quickly and usually within 30m. We would totally stay here again should we be back in this area in the future.

The location is in a beautiful neighborhood and the house is easily accessible from multiple different routes and easy to find. It was very welcoming upon entering the house and everything we needed for our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable in the house. We ventured out and stumbled into North Kansas City and the night life even with our young son was very enjoyable. Cathy was very quick with communications about questions we had for her regarding the house. I will definitely keep her house in my favorites in case we come back to Kansas City again.

The place was so clean and comfortable! It had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with Melissa was excellent and Jeff couldn’t be nicer. Such a perfect location with all the restaurants and shops on Main Street. There was even an awesome car show when we arrived to town. We completely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

It was very comfortable to stay at Russ’s place. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen has everything we needed. Nice large living room area. The pool was wonderful on the hot days we had. Russ was out of town but always available by messaging. We felt very cared for during our stay. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful Airbnb and had plenty of space for our group. Easy to get into and check out was very easy as well!

Overall it was a good stay. There were a few minor issues like trash left behind on the porch and the couch bed was dirty when pulled out, but Kevin and Ashley were responsive and took care of them quickly. The smell and noise were not anything the hosts could control, it was very definitely other guests in the same building who had weed and were noisy. It was not too bad, just definitely noticeable and more so because I have small children who were trying to sleep. As far as location, it’s right off The Paseo so not an area I’d “take my kids for a walk in” but good in terms of location for the activities we had planned and it was easy to get in and out of.

A calm place with easy access to both supermarket, diners and restaurants. The BBQ place around the corner was amazing! The apartment had lots of space and balconies/porches in all directions 👌

We had a wonderful time! Glad we selected this Airbnb. Our host, Justin was super responsive. It took a minute to figure out the parking and check-in. Once we had it down, it was pretty clear. Justin answered all of our questions. We were impressed with perks and amenities. The apartment was clean, and met our expectations. My favorite was the arcade and the lobby on the lower level. We didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop pool, since we were short on time. The view was amazing! I almost forgot to mention the Pet spa, designated pet area, and Coffee Shop. Walking distance from Power & Light District, and T-Mobile Center. I will definitely book again! Thank you all very much! 😊

This place was perfect for the time I was in and what I needed! You tell they put quality into this place. It was a little cold put i am used it. I loved my time there!

Book this space. Like, seriously. Chris was super friendly, a great host, very communicative. The actual Lodge was GORGEOUS. The attention to detail of decor had us sitting there in awe. Beautiful decor, cozy layout, great space, comfy furniture and bed, amazing shower, cute patio area, unassuming outside, super easy to find and access. We even caught him at the perfect time to get to check out the other spaces and some recs for good local food! I’m pretty sure we’d move in tomorrow if Chris was up for renting! We’ll definitely be back!
