Holiday rentals with a fireplace in City of Wodonga

A very nice place that was clean and well appointed. The outdoor fire and couch area is fantastic but for the price would have been nice if there was a bag of firewood ($20 at servo) and we couldn’t find fire utensils. Also missing ice trays. Would definitely stay there again.

Pips place was exactly what you read. A beautiful home, well kept, well stocked and an absolute dream for parents with young children. This house gives you the best of both worlds with an adults retreat style living area and an abundance of toys and activities for kids. We cannot recommend this home enough & are excited for our next stay!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home! Perfect location with everything you need just around the corner but still quite with a private feeling. The house is clean and equipped with everything you'll need. Would love to come back and recommend to everyone.

What a gem! Big beautiful home with stunning heritage features. Toast warm heating throughout. Large spa bath to relax in. Fire and wood provided but we didn’t get a chance to light the fire as the home was warm throughout from hydronic heating. Very comfortable beds and lovely linen throughout. Large dining room that fit all 8 of us comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to stay in and cook, short walk down to the Star pub where we dined one night. Good country pub. Private backyard and enough space to have all our cars off the street but also plenty off off-street parking. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Thank-you for having us.

Tash is a wonderful host and made us all feel so welcome - including young kids and dog specially catered for. This is the most well-appointed Airbnb kitchen I’ve used in a long time - no begging neighbours for a thimbleful of oil and lots of useful, thoughtful touches. The house was clean and well decorated without being fussy, making it really comfy and easy to use. Large deck and yard were perfect for family time and backyard is well fenced for even a small dog. Firewood dry and all firelighting needs well catered. View is lovely, lakeshore stunning in all times of day. I could’ve spent a week here — not just the peaceful, and so-beautiful spot but the house too.

It’s the second time we have stayed here, we loved it so much the first time! It’s peaceful, relaxing, cosy, has everything you need and close to everything you want. Host is helpful and responds promptly. Not sure we’d stay anywhere else☺️

great spot, very close to everything and loads of space. better than a lot of the options available nearby which were mostly hotels or motels or the winery accommodation down the road - all looked cramped in comparison. Michelle was very proactive in recommending places to go and we felt very welcomed! Will stay here again next time we are in rutherglen

Stunning, well designed home away from home! All the comforts of a luxury hotel combined with the space and warmth of your own flat. Location is perfect-just a3 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Easy bike ride to wineries and most can deliver your purchases back to the accommodation for you as it's so close to the main Street. Easy and fast responses from Michele and her team and we were especially grateful for the foodie tips so we could book before v we arrived. Thanks for a fantastic stay in Rutherglen!

We cannot fault our stay at Basq Next Door. The house was beautiful; clean, warm and cosy. We felt at home right away, and the place had everything you could possibly need. The house was so close to the main part of Rutherglen so we were never far from anything. Michele was always responsive and gave us some great recommendations for experiences in the area over the Easter weekend. The beds were the comfiest I’ve slept in. Michele was so accommodating too, even providing us with a high chair and a travel cot for one of our babies. Going away as a family group with babies can be tricky but Michele made it so comfortable and easy. Thank you so much for a lovely, relaxing time away. We will be back!
