Mill Cottage Bunkhouse is situated in Nenthead, one of the highest villages in England, standing at 1,500ft above sea level. It is nestled within the stunning Northern Pennines (AONB) UNESCO Global Geopark and sits next to the historic Nenthead Mines site, which was once a major centre for lead and silver mining. Mill Cottage Bunkhouse is on the C2C cycle route, it is also next to Isaac’s Tea Trail and only a drive away from the Lake District, making it an ideal base for cyclists and walkers.

A self contained annexe to the main house with its own entrance and use of the garden in front of the property which has a small table and two chairs. The annexe has its own front door and a small porch area to leave mucky boots etc. The entrance hall leads to the bathroom with large shower, toilet and basin, a living and kitchen area with a comfy sofa, a table and chairs and a cooker, microwave and fridge. A door leads off the living and kitchen area to a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe.

It's open plan, with a wood-burning stove to keep you warm on an evening, with well-equipped kitchen and dining area. It has large windows with lots of natural light. The garden is abundant in wildlife throughout the year, and has a lovely terrace to sit out on with comfortable outdoor seating. It’s a great base for relaxing, enjoying wildlife, adventuring, or being creative. 11am checkout.

This very old, very tiny cottage offers guests a truly cosy place to stay. You’ll find everything you need in just 18 square metres! Ideal for couples and walkers to enjoy a getaway amongst the beautiful countryside of the North Pennines. The approach to Kipling Cottage is stunning and gives you your first glimpse of the beautiful rolling countryside. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for toddlers/small children, and all children must be declared during the booking process.

On the outskirts of Winton in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside in AONB is our 2 bedroom/4 person (including children) holiday cottage. This cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Be in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, breath in our fresh air and come home every day to your own modern yet country-feeling independent cottage. Hot tub, seating area, and private entrance all included. Please note there are quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. Hot tub can be used at anytime.

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! You won't find accommodation closer to rushing water than this! No under 12s. Check in Fridays and Mondays only.

Low Green Barn, located in Tranquil Teesdale

Low Green Barn is a converted barn, attached to our family home and located in the middle of the village of Mickleton. Before booking, please bear in mind we offer limited cooking facilities, with no oven or grill. We can provide you with local recommendations for eating out. Driveway parking is shared with owners and can accommodate one guest vehicle. Owners Tessa and Dave live in the adjoining main farmhouse and are available via text/in person if needed.
