Built in two levels, it contains 2 spacious bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, an attic with double bed, a terrace with view to the sea and the mountains, and a balcony to the village square.

Kampos Mansion 1

Kampos village is only 5 km south of Chios Town. It is the closest village to the airport and one of the few places in Chios that preserves its medieval character. Kampos has recently been proclaimed by the Ministry of Culture as a historical site. The historical course of the village begins from the Byzantine times, where most of the mansions were built. This 170 s.m., masonry wall, double-storey house was originaly constructed at 1859 and is a typical example of early neoclassical architecture, infused with local traditional elements such as the pebbled yard and the traditional terrace. According to a new ministerial decision, the residents of the house are obliged to pay a "Climate Crisis Resilience Fee" of 15 Euros per day. The total cost will be collected by the owner who will pay it to the tax office.
