Holiday rentals in Chiklihole Reservoir

Could we make an exception and give six stars instead of five? It's only been a couple hours since we checked out, but we are already missing 4Cs. The hospitality of the host family is amazing. That's really the difference maker. The tranquil location on a plantation is unbeatable. Such professional staff. The food: Variety (including curry from the fruits of a 300-year-old Jackfruit tree on the plantation) + very tasty + amazingly affordable.The friendly dogs, Sanju and Ninja, accompanied us on long walks during our 10-day long stay. We enjoyed the rain & the sunshine reflected off those rain washed leaves. Such a serene location. Clean. Shower with very hot water, good pressure. We appreciated the paid Laundry service. As we think about it, this is among the top five in the hundred or so Airbnbs that we stayed in around the world. It's like we are leaving family. And I don't think we can say anything more than that

The location is fabulous - the cliff view is a sight to behold! the whole property is green and oozes calmness of nature. rishnak & Pranalika are super hosts - prompt to respond and help. they responded promptly and with courtesy the staff - harish & kalesh - were super helpful and gracious. this is one of our memorable trips and much thanks to the team who made it flawless

We had a lovely stay and the hosts were warm and made us feel very welcome! The space is definitely bigger than we imagined, and I loved how they had done up the place!

This homestay was just the break we (3 of us family members) needed. The rooms are big n clean n special mention for the clean bathrooms and towels :) we stayed on the 2nd floor and the surrounding greenery seen from the balcony, was a cooling balm for the summer heat. The cherry on top was the hospitality we received. Uncle was very helpful with information regarding places to see. On his own, he took us to watch wild elephants early in the morning. Irfan, the caretaker provided us with finger licking meals both veg n non veg and regaled us with his funny anecdotes and observations. 5 stars for all - the place, the homestay and the people. We enjoyed our time at Brindleberry. Stayed there at the beginning of June 2025 and caught a very very early monsoon season but we could still move about to places. Nishanth helped with contact details for rickshaw so we could get pick ups and drop from Madikeri town center. He also helped with a good cab driver for sight seeing. We didn't opt for bike rentals due to the weather. Brindleberry is a beautiful place to stay at. The insect diversity is incredible. There's continuous hot water due to gas geysers (much appreciated). We enjoyed conversations with Nishanth during breakfast and we enjoyed the beauty of the place. Must mention the calico cat as well who was very friendly. For dinner we'd order via Zomato or the local restaurant referred.

My stay at Bee's at Coorg was absolutely magical! From the moment I arrived, Mr. Dilan’s(manager) warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The cottage I stayed in (Cottage 4, recommended by his son Vidur) had breathtaking views of the backwaters. Waking up to the mist rolling over the water was truly unforgettable. The location itself is incredibly peaceful – perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I loved taking walks along the backwater's edge, surrounded by nature's tranquility. The food was delicious, home-cooked, and made with love. While a little more variety might be nice, the warmth of the service made every meal special. The bonfire night was a definite highlight hosted by Mr Sandeep and his friends which was full of stories, laughter and good whiskey creating a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended and Must visit.

I stayed 3 nights at Namitha’s Airbnb and loved it! The best part was the peaceful location inside a coffee plantation - perfect for walks. The balcony view was lovely, and I enjoyed reading there. It was a cozy and relaxing stay. Namitha and her mother-in-law were very warm and welcoming. Their homemade food was delicious and comforting. They even shared fruit wine and fresh coffee with breakfast. The family lives downstairs in the same house and were kind and respectful. The place is clean, well-kept, and feels like home. A great spot to relax and unwind!

Debbie and Vinuja’s stay truly felt like home. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and nothing felt out of place. I booked this stay for an offbeat experience nestled inside the coffee estates of Coorg and it turned out to be everything my friends and family were hoping for. The place was spotless, cozy, and had all the necessary amenities. Special mention to Sanjay, the caretaker, who was the absolute sweetest! He poured his heart and soul into making our stay comfortable from great local recommendations to going the extra mile with our late-night dessert cravings at 10 PM! The weather, the breakfast, and the overall service were honestly too good to be true. The property is beautifully maintained, and the small details in the rooms add a lot of warmth. We also got to enjoy a lovely farm experience, thanks to Sanjay's efforts. Dinner was a complete comfort meal delicious, wholesome, and fulfilling. Highly recommend this stay if you're looking for a peaceful experience
