Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chickerell

Beer is certainly worth a visit, a beautiful village on the coast with stunning scenery in all directions. Nikki and Chris's cottage is comfortable, welcoming and convenient for the area with private off-street parking. Communication was excellent throughout with local tips and knowledge. Would certainly recommend their property.

We had a great stay in Weymouth. The location of the house was great, it was very well equipped and having parking was a real bonus. All the bedrooms were really comfortable, and everything we needed to enjoy our stay was at hand.

Lovely place, very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely gesture by the host with the bottle of Prosecco thank you 😊 Claire was very helpful and responsive to messages. Before the trip she sent us some information for things in the area, places to eat etc, was very helpful. Lovely little hide away, nice and private. Just as the pictures showed, Beautiful. We had a wonderful time at Hare Lodge. The accommodation is exactly at described, comfortable, clean and so peaceful. Lisa was such a friendly and responsive host and answered all our questions before our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived. We had a lovely welcome gift which was very appreciated. Hot tub was fab, location was beautiful. The lodge had everything we needed and we can’t wait to visit again.

I have just enjoyed a four night stay at Grey Joy. A beautifully presented and perfectly located cosy house. It has everything you need including a lovely outside space. Grey Joy is a few foot steps from Chesil beach and next door to The Cove pub. I could not have been happier with this little Air B&B

We merrily returned to Top to Bottom and found the place as homely and comforting as ever, with the added bonus of everything being familiar. We brought extra family and friends this time and had such an awesome and unforgettable experience. We walked alpacas, climbed the lighthouse, explored the Battery tunnels (newly open), ate at the Jailhouse Diner, played on Chesil beach and did watercolours there, took a boat trip to Weymouth for a traditional seaside day out (Love2Visit boat trips highly recommended, great value too), caught up with the lovely Ware Interiors (I recommend their website for quirky additions to one’s home) enjoyed the park across the road, loved our takeaway pizza, had fun cooking and eating together and were so happy to have space and time to play together in the evenings, after cosy baths. It really helped us unwind and spend quality time together. No-one wanted to leave, and return to the stresses at home, but we have such brilliant memories to bring back ❤️

Beautiful little place in the country side. Peaceful and tranquil. Very responsive over messages, replied pretty much Immediately. Could t of asked for a better bank holiday stay.

A lovely private little spot - it’s small but perfectly proportioned and plenty of space for a couple or comfortable for family with 2 small children. The gardens were beautiful and it’s a wonderfully quiet setting. Charlotte was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome!

Had a very pleasant stay at Phil’s flat. Clean, quiet and well equipped. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Poole again for work. Highly recommended!

Tracy was one of the most welcoming hosts we’ve come across. We really enjoyed our stay at Maison Petite & agree with all the positive reviews that other people have already provided. The riverside walk into Lyme Regis was lovely & very easy. The Talbot Arms is a great pub, with very friendly staff & locals. Unfortunately for us the chef was away, so we were unable to check out the food. However, the meals we had in Lyme Regis at the Largigi Thai restaurant, The Pilot Boat pub & the take away fish & chips from Lyme’s Fish Bar were delicious. We’ve walked various parts of the South West Coastal Path over the past few years & really enjoyed doing the Seaton-Beer-Branscombe Mouth section on this trip. However, the Seaton-Lyme Regis section was our least favourite section so far, as most of it was along the undercliffs, with narrow slippery paths between dense vegetation & very few views. Apart from that we found the rest of the area incredibly beautiful & will definitely be returning.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, bright and comfortable. Quiet at night. Nice views from the living area over the harbor and looking over the town from the large bedroom. As Suzanne had noted in the listing, there is no assigned parking space which could be an issue. We had to pay to park the day of arrival. It’s free after 6pm until 8am. One item we’d suggest adding would be a clothes hanger for drying as the machine didn’t seem to actually dry anything. We’d highly recommend Seagulls restaurant (book in advance). Unassuming place but food was excellent. We also liked Platform for a Sunday roast and Rise for breakfast. The George was decent. If we’re back in West Bay, we’d definitely stay again.

We had a great stay here! Christina was really friendly making us feel right at home. She gave us some local recommendations and allowed us to come and go with zero hassle. The surroundings are stunning and we could have sat by the window all day. Great walking near by. Beach is a drive able day trip too.

Beth’ s place is amazing. A calm and peaceful haven. From the thoughtful welcome card to the incredibly kind extra touches like bread, milk and eggs. Beth has created the most fantastic experience for guests. We had a fabulous 8 nights and really recommend this as a perfect place to stay.

I told my four-year-old we had been invited by 2 queens to stay in their castle—and what queens they were! Such a friendly reception and what a wonderfully whimsical place. The location is fabulous: you can’t see another property, just rolling hills of sheep (the friendliest photobombing sheep I’ve ever come across!), chickens, cows, horses… and the dogs are such a sweet, quiet presence too. Beds are luxurious and the whole house is super cosy with a fab little private garden. A real gem! Would definitely return.

An absolutely lovely flat. Comfortable, tastefully decorated and furnished & lovingly styled. Everything you need is there and everything was spotless. The gardens are beautiful and it’s a very peaceful location. Just a 10/15 minute walk along the River Lim into Lyme and the beach front. Samantha is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. I recommend highly!

Perfect location for walking to the seafront, shops and restaurants. Very cosy cottage, with a beautiful garden area (prettier in reality than in the fotos) where we sat in the evenings and enjoyed the quiet after a day on the beach/hunting for fossils. Mike was the perfect host, very helpful and easy to get in touch with.

It is a wonderful house. I really enjoyed staying there. Great communication with the owner.

All in all a great & absolutely magical place. We had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend in August and celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary. The whole place and service was first class! Kitty was so nice, so helpful and extremely kind person. The garden, lake and view out of our villa was so beautiful and magical, you felt like you are in heaven. We captured a lot of incredible beautiful photos. The bed was really comfy and the rooms spacious, beautiful, stylish and clean. We can honestly say we had absolutely the best time & 2 night’s sleep. Karmacations-Luxe Detached Villa,Lake Spa+Gardens this amazing place made for a truly memorable and magical experience for us!! We wont forget about this magical place and we definitely will back again!!!! Thank you so much Kitty xxxxx

Enjoyed a memorable stay in Goretti’s peaceful and spacious home. The house is fully equipped and was extremely clean. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and conservatory. Communication was seamless. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home. It was lovely to be greeted by the host with a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge.

The most stunning home to spend some quiet, wholesome family time and get out of London. The walk down to the beach was definitely worth it (our 4 year old agreed) The house is so amazing with its high ceilings and grand rooms and amazing antique furniture. We had all the grandparents with us and 2 kids and there was plenty of space.
