Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chesil Beach

Beer is certainly worth a visit, a beautiful village on the coast with stunning scenery in all directions. Nikki and Chris's cottage is comfortable, welcoming and convenient for the area with private off-street parking. Communication was excellent throughout with local tips and knowledge. Would certainly recommend their property.

Just returned after a few days at Iris cottage. A modern, clean and comfortable stay had a great time. Would recommend Jodi she was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

We had a great stay in Weymouth. The location of the house was great, it was very well equipped and having parking was a real bonus. All the bedrooms were really comfortable, and everything we needed to enjoy our stay was at hand.

Lovely place, very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely gesture by the host with the bottle of Prosecco thank you 😊 Claire was very helpful and responsive to messages. Before the trip she sent us some information for things in the area, places to eat etc, was very helpful. Lovely little hide away, nice and private. Just as the pictures showed, Beautiful. What a wonderful break of journey, great hosts and a wonderful location, the cottage felt so homely and meeting Emily and Mike was like catching up with old friends, very relaxed and very helpful, we shall certainly be going back in the very near future. Lots of amenities within walking distance or a short drive and the town has a really friendly atmosphere. Great mixed street market twice a week, you name it they sell it, great bargains to be had. We actually stayed twice once on the way down to Cornwall and then again on the way back, we did regret booking several days in Cornwall on reflection we would have been happier staying at the cottage in Bridport.

Beautiful little place in the country side. Peaceful and tranquil. Very responsive over messages, replied pretty much Immediately. Could t of asked for a better bank holiday stay.

A lovely private little spot - it’s small but perfectly proportioned and plenty of space for a couple or comfortable for family with 2 small children. The gardens were beautiful and it’s a wonderfully quiet setting. Charlotte was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome!

Good place to stay and well equipped with towels, soap tea bags coffee etc. TV in most rooms and nicely finished. Only drawback could be very limited parking in the area, however we did manage to park our small car outside the house each day.

Tracy was one of the most welcoming hosts we’ve come across. We really enjoyed our stay at Maison Petite & agree with all the positive reviews that other people have already provided. The riverside walk into Lyme Regis was lovely & very easy. The Talbot Arms is a great pub, with very friendly staff & locals. Unfortunately for us the chef was away, so we were unable to check out the food. However, the meals we had in Lyme Regis at the Largigi Thai restaurant, The Pilot Boat pub & the take away fish & chips from Lyme’s Fish Bar were delicious. We’ve walked various parts of the South West Coastal Path over the past few years & really enjoyed doing the Seaton-Beer-Branscombe Mouth section on this trip. However, the Seaton-Lyme Regis section was our least favourite section so far, as most of it was along the undercliffs, with narrow slippery paths between dense vegetation & very few views. Apart from that we found the rest of the area incredibly beautiful & will definitely be returning.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, bright and comfortable. Quiet at night. Nice views from the living area over the harbor and looking over the town from the large bedroom. As Suzanne had noted in the listing, there is no assigned parking space which could be an issue. We had to pay to park the day of arrival. It’s free after 6pm until 8am. One item we’d suggest adding would be a clothes hanger for drying as the machine didn’t seem to actually dry anything. We’d highly recommend Seagulls restaurant (book in advance). Unassuming place but food was excellent. We also liked Platform for a Sunday roast and Rise for breakfast. The George was decent. If we’re back in West Bay, we’d definitely stay again.

A truly excellent find and great Air BnB that truly matches it's charming , historic and quirky description . We loved the historic quirkiness of the apartment which gave it some character and a very homely feel . It was also extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need in plentiful supply too which was of really good quality (some of the cutlery was the same as ours). Mark was a great host , helpful, friendly , welcoming, really communicative and made us feel at home when showing us round with the lovely bonus of the adorable dogs . The apartments is on a busy road and next to Vivray Park but it was so quiet and just a 5 minute walk to the town centre making it a great base to explore Taunton and the surrounding area . Will certainly recommend this apartment .

Christina was a friendly and helpful host. The house and gardens are beautiful with wonderful views of the church and surrounding countryside. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious and we appreciated the breakfast of cereals, fresh croissants, butter, jam and orange juice. A peaceful and relaxing stay. I told my four-year-old we had been invited by 2 queens to stay in their castle—and what queens they were! Such a friendly reception and what a wonderfully whimsical place. The location is fabulous: you can’t see another property, just rolling hills of sheep (the friendliest photobombing sheep I’ve ever come across!), chickens, cows, horses… and the dogs are such a sweet, quiet presence too. Beds are luxurious and the whole house is super cosy with a fab little private garden. A real gem! Would definitely return.

What a cracker of a place and so lucky to have found it. Simply perfect and a wonderfully secluded spot yet close to all that Lyme Regis has to offer. Looked after so well, with tasteful additions that make it a home from home. Wow…. The garden !!! Thank you for being fabulous hosts too .

Perfect location for walking to the seafront, shops and restaurants. Very cosy cottage, with a beautiful garden area (prettier in reality than in the fotos) where we sat in the evenings and enjoyed the quiet after a day on the beach/hunting for fossils. Mike was the perfect host, very helpful and easy to get in touch with.

Stayed here with my husband and son and could not recommend highly enough - we are hoping to return next year! Amazing location right near the beach and everything you need is within a short walk. Matt gave us loads of useful recommendations for the local area and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
