This house is within walking distance of the South fork of the Spring River. Enjoy trout fishing or many different water activities. Flathead Retreat is about a 10 minute drive from old Hardy town, which offers several antique shops and great places to eat. It’s also just a short drive to Mammoth Spring Park. The place was decent other than the mattresses for the spare beds were pretty lumpy. We didn’t ask for any sort of help with those but I feel the owner should consider replacing them. Oven was turned on whether you liked it or not if it was plugged in. Kitchen has very basic appliances and utensils but served us just fine(except for the lack of a toaster). When we first got there it was suggested we communicate with Carolina through WhatsAp which is fine but we asked if there was a toaster, responded right away but ask for an additional pillow and she didn’t respond until I sent another msg through Airbnb. After that communication was spot on. The neighborhood seems poor and run down but everyone is nice and friendly. Lots of garbage floating in under the suite but they try to clean it as much as possible. All and all I would consider staying there again but would probably want to see other options just cause.

Adorable little cabin. We had a wonderful time. The only issue we had was the wifi didn't work so we had to use the hotspot from our phones to watch TV. It's basically in the pub parking lot so we went over to eat and check it out and had a great time.

We had a great time staying at this cabin! It’s clean, and the host is really nice and quick to respond. This was our second visit, and we brought some more family this time. Some of the family stayed a few houses down, but everyone loved gathering at this cabin. The outdoor space is wonderful. Multiple decks provide more than enough room to hang out. The floating dock is also really nice. We would definitely return again!

We had a great week stay in this cute little cabin! Great private and relaxing experience. We spent time with family and trying the local restaurants Judy recommended. Judy was very responsive and wonderful! We appreciated her helpfulness and recommendations. As stated in the listing it is a work in progress, but any missing trim work or anything doesn't take away from the relaxing experience really. It was a great place to unplug and spend time with the family. My only note is just to fellow plus size ladies please note the shower is really tight. I didn't comfortably fit, but the rest of my group enjoyed the shower. I just drove a bit to a truck stop and showered there. Otherwise the cabin was perfect! I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a quiet relaxing trip to book this cute cabin!
