We had a wonderful time! The house and the lake are beautiful. We swam, cooked out, and relaxed. The owner and his wife were fantastic and so kind! Thank you for sharing your home with us for our family vacation! We cannot wait to return sometime next year.

Beautiful property and well maintained. Exactly as described. We had a large party of 16 and this place was fantastic for our group. Furnished kitchen was a great plus. Home was very comfortable and had everything you could thing of. Very responsive to our inquiries and needs. Will definitely recommend this to all our friends.

This lake house was such a great find. It’s absolutely beautiful and so so very peaceful. My family and I will for certain be back here. The host was always friendly and very helpful. The neighbors are excellent and so so kind. The neighborhood here is very peaceful. Thank y’all for sharing your home with us. Lord willing we will be back early fall.

Wonderful getaway! Clean and perfectly located on the lake!

The groomsmen and I stayed here for my wedding weekend. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. We played board games and hung out inside the house and on the pier. We will definitely be back for a guy’s weekend. The house was ready early, so the host let us check in early. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen, but it was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, and bowls. Beds were comfortable, lake views were amazing. While you’re here check out decks and docks, 360 grill, and Jake’s on the lake. Gadsden isn’t very far away and has a lot of food options and fun things to do.

This was an updated, clean, and comfortable place to stay. Would highly recommend if seeking a relaxing place to unwind. Plenty of room for everyone in our family.

Dave was an incredible host and his place was amazing! He provided so many extras that made the stay even better—firewood, charcoal, kayaks, life vests, paddle boats, and pool toys. I was genuinely impressed by how much was available to enjoy. Dave was also very responsive and made a point to introduce himself when we arrived, which made the experience feel even more personal. He even helped us get set up with a pontoon boat rental! The only small suggestion I have is to consider covering the firewood—after it rained, it was a bit tough to get a fire going. Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway from reality. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a beautiful home in a fabulous location. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We were in the area for my son’s wedding and had a uhaul trailer with us. The only issue we had was with the driveway and parking. The driveway is very curved and on an angle.

Our family of 5 absolutely loved this place! It was extremely well stocked with everything you could need; charming and well cared for. A great location right by the pool, which was so handy with kids wanting to swim every day. The pool and hot tub are SO nice! The lake views were absolutely lovely, and the grounds very well cared for. The owners checked in upon our arrival (via text) to make sure we were settled in, which was kind. There are several homes on this property, but we never felt a lack of privacy. We hope to come back and bring family or friends! The perfect lake getaway property.

Perfect place for my wedding party group to stay at!!

The location was quite beautiful. The cabin was a little hard to find in the dark. But not bad at all. There were alot of things to do around the area. We hope to be back one day

We booked the entire property at Magnolia Overlook before the newest additions (Studios + Blue With a View) were added, and these more recent developments to the property were truly our favorite spots to hangout during our weekend! Being able to combine both studio units on the deck made this the perfect place for evening games on the porch. Your hosts have truly thought of every comfort and accommodation to make this a memorable place to stay - our friends raved about the heated towel rack all weekend long! We are already talking about our next stay at this beautiful property!

Great clean house, plenty of beds/baths. As an extra cherry on top, the host was extra-responsive to requests and communication needs. If you have a large group and are adventuring in/around Leesburg, I don't think there is better place to stay. We'll definitely look up Chestnut Bay again the next time we are in town.

Great place to stay! This was my first experience with an Air BNB and it has spoiled me. Beautiful house, very well maintained. Very peaceful. Instructions were well laid out in messages and printed out and placed in the house. There were suggestions of things to do in the area and also places to eat. Host was very prompt in responding to any questions and was very friendly. Definitely will stay here again!

As advertised. Easy walk to the dock. Dock was plenty spacious. Plenty of room for our dogs to run. Centrally located on the lake with a nice view.

It was one of the best Airbnb that we have stayed at so far. We throughly enjoyed it and the surrounding property. It’s a nice little getaway, highly recommend it.

Needed a place to stay for Christmas and this was perfect for our needs. Has everything you need for a quick getaway. Dog friendly which is so helpful!

REMARKABLE Property! The pictures do not do this property justice. PRIVATE PRIVATE PRIVATE! This house is peaceful, serene, and in the middle of the woods. I think the next closest house is 1.5 miles away. If you want to be in the hustle and bustle, this house is not for you. But if you want to be alone and escape the vicous circle called society, this is EXACTLY the place for you. The owners of this property spared no expense building it. The maste Bedroom is beautiful. The Master Batch is stunning. The kitchen is a chef's dream, for a small cabin in the middle of the woods. The place is super clean and well layed out. The huge deck and hammock chair are as tranquil as it gets. AMple parking with an electric gate securing the property. There are Dog Walking trails right on the property. Fort Payne is an easy 18 minutes away. For the money, there is no nicer place in this location. I HIGHLY recommend this property. We will most definitely be back next year.

We were coming to the area for a wedding and decided to make it a weekend getaway with our pup. SO glad we found Mountain Lake Lodge, it was perfect! Lynn, Sandra, and Perry were incredible hosts, providing a very clean, well thought out, enjoyable experience, and excellent communication. They've literally thought of everything anyone could possibly need during their stay. They even provided bottled water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate (and marshmallows), toiletries for those "oh no, I forgot my..." moments, a basket packed full of snacks, and dog treats for our baby. The book with food and activity recommendations was great and came in handy. We ate supper at one of the restaurants and spent several hours at one of parks, thoroughly enjoyed both. There's a lot more to do in the area than we imagined so we hope to be back, and will definitely stay here!!!

This place was amazing me and my ole lady will 100% be back. This was my first air bnb and she has stayed in many of air bnbs and she said this one stood out from everyone else this place is amazing. I didn’t even want to leave hahahah. I am glad we chose this air bnb because it was so amazing I just can’t explain in words how nice this air bnb was. Me and my ole lady we very satisfied with our air bnb!!!!!
