Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chelsea, Manhattan

So there are apparently not enough characters allowed in the review to fully express our pleasure staying at this wonderful place. We have stayed in multiple Airbnbs with our business the past five years and this particular one is in the top three. Upon approach, take in the charming brownstones and tree lined streets. Once you open the door, you are greeted with natural light filled space with a chefs kitchen. The decor is modern, yet not stark. The added elements, such as the exposed brick and wood, emanate a warmth and coziness. The outdoor back space is just right, but sitting on the front steps is the best because you meet all kinds of charming characters around the neighborhood. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with dream bathrooms, right down to the showerheads. beds were SO comfortable and perfect for melting into a deep sleep after a day in Manhattan. Favs:bathrooms, kitchen island, neighborhood shops and cafes, argh there’s not enough room left just book it already!!

Abi was an exceptional host! The location was ideal, with convenient free street parking. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind.

The house is very charming and well preserved. Lovingly decorated with attention to detail. The room had a nice view of the garden. The area is green with many historic buildings and cafes. Jordan is very friendly. I look forward to coming back!

Samantha and her husbands co host were great they had great quick communication took time to help with directions and addresses to places we wanted to see told us best way around and gave us tips on apps to download to help get around also. Samantha took time to introduce herself to us and inform us if we needed anything just let her know and they let us gone and go as we needed without feeling like we was anywhere but our own home it felt like home we truly enjoyed this stay and their beautiful home and highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit New York beautiful place beautiful views and very quiet always across from police station so we felt very very safe great place

I loved this place! Sherrie is SO nice and helpful. The house is beautiful and chill. The room was very comfortable. The neighborhood is great. Very walkable. Amazing food and coffee. Close to public transportation. I would definitely come back.

Very cozy, clean room with a mini-fridge and filtered water. They just put a new memory foam mattress on the bed, which was very comfortable. Stella was quick to respond to messages and very kind and accommodating. It was so nice to come back to this very private and quiet room after a long day out in the city! Within walking distance of several metro stations.

best Airbnb, you feel like home, perfectly clean. Victoria clean the appartement every day, the smell is so good, the room is so comfortable, cozy and warm. Victoria prepare all small needs, believe me better than hotels . I will comeback soon with my daughters

La habitación tal cuál como las fotos, el baño sí es súper lindo pero solo considerar que como hay otros huéspedes y solo tenemos 20 mins para bañarse pues de aquí a lo que se llena la tina ya casi es el tiempo. Yo pude usarla un día porque no había huéspedes ese día. Literal a 2 cuadras tomas un bus que te deja en la estación de metro entonces eso es súper conveniente ya que el precio es mucho mejor. No hubo late check out porque cobran por hora después entonces como mi vuelo salía muy tarde igual tuve que salir temprano. En general el lugar es bonito y conveniente por la parada de bus y si puedes usar la tina algún día está muy bien.

I dealt with Hope's husband, Matt. I have to say he was one of if not the best communicators of many hosts I've dealt with. Also very helpful especially dealing with the finances of the stay. After I booked he offered some very legit means of saving money. Then when some things came up and I had to cut my stay short, Matt generously refunded my entire fee. Many hosts are very 'stingy' if things come up (which happens to everyone once in a while) and won't refund unless they can rebook, or will prorate. That's fine, but doesn't feel good. Matt was more concerned about my having a good experience with him than milking our transaction for every dollar. 5 star host! The place itself was clean and in a great location. Be aware it photographs larger than it feels in person. And might seem a tiny bit noisy if you aren't used to NYC apartment living. Those minor quibbles were more than made up for by working with excellent hosts who are compassionate and care about their guests experience.

I had a great stay here. The unit was just as described, clean and comfortable. There is a short walk and bus ride to NYC that takes about 30-45 minutes, so plan ahead. Nestor was responsive by phone and a great host overall.

Louise's place is very easy to find and access. It is very close to bus stops and metros, and very close to Times Square and Broadway shows. There are several restaurants around. We like the bagel shops right across the street. There is an Amish Market nearby where we can get grocery and food to cook ourselves. The rooms are clean and quiet. Although the apartment is right on the 9th Avenue, we hardly could hear any noise inside the house. It is on the 3rd floor and we were a bit worried about bringing up our luggage but then Louise sent a friend to help us bringing up our stuff when we checked in, and it was at midnight!! We were so comfortable in the house, and had great fun during our trips. I definitely recommend the place.

This property was fantastic! The location is super walkable to everything Hoboken has to offer and is very walkable to the Path. The home is simply lovely & very welcoming. The outdoor space is perfect for reading a book or sipping coffee. Elgha was very responsive & an excellent host. We will absolutely be back!

Un séjour parfait à New York ! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Le logement était impeccablement propre, extrêmement confortable et idéalement situé dans le sud de Ludlow Street, en plein cœur d'un quartier jeune, dynamique et créatif. Le toit-terrasse était un véritable atout, offrant un espace parfait pour se détendre après une journée à explorer la ville. La literie était de grande qualité, ce qui nous a permis de bien nous reposer. Mention spéciale à May, qui était très réactif, accueillant et attentionné. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter lors de notre prochain voyage à NYC. Merci encore pour cette superbe expérience !

Had a great stay at Marco's place - it's compact but you still get way more room than in a hotel. Good location not far from a subway stop with a really good takeaway pizza place at the end of the road. Marco was fast to respond to any queries and really helpful in allowing us to leave our luggage in the apartment we had a late flight. 100% recommended!

I can’t say enough positive things about Mao’s Victorian brownstone. From the decor, to the amenities, to the recommendations and travel instructions provided, Mao and Chisako were incredibly helpful hosts. You can feel the love and kindness they put into their home, and how much they care about it and everyone who stays there. We absolutely loved Hoboken, it was such a wonderful and walkable (and run-able!) area. Mao and Chisako’s instructions for traveling to NYC were so helpful and clear and we were able to follow all their advice. We tried all forms of transportation, from the bus to the subway to the ferry to Lyft! All were super easy and convenient. I loved being able to wake up and walk to the local bagel shop or convenience store. My husband, my mother, and myself came to stay for my mother’s 70th birthday, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect place for the 3 of us, not to mention the beds were super comfy! Thank you so much Mao and Chisako! 🙏

This place is a gem. It is very well stocked with everything you could want. The location was great. 20 min walk to Times Square and easy access to subway. Bed very comfy. Sol was very responsive. Will def book again.

Will come back when I am in NYC. Easy to get on subway. Joshua let me check in slightly early which was a great help to me.

Anthony is the best host I’ve ever had! So friendly, welcoming, and super responsive. He has clearly poured ample love and care into the space—it is immaculate, stylish, well-equipped, and truly an easy Williamsburg oasis!

Beautiful place to stay , very cozy well decorated and super practical for getting in and around jersey city and nyc . Highly recommend for those travelling to NYC . Jasen and Ken were super friendly proactive hosts you will not go wrong with booking them !

Helens Apartment ist eine hervorragende Unterkunft zentral in Manhattan gelegen. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt! Die Einrichtung/Möbel ist gehoben (insb. die Küche) und die Ausstattung auch super. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die hervorragende Kommunikation mit Helen, die stets sehr schnell antwortete. Sollten wir nochmal nach NYC fahren, werden wir wieder dort wohnen :-)

The view of the NYC skyline was exactly as promised in the pictures. Host was super responsive. The place was within walking distance to bus and ferry to NYC.

Apartment was clean,spacious we stayed 6 nights with our 2 year old baby. You can get bus no 126 which will take you to time square so very convenient to travel to newyork. Aj and John were very helpful and great host. We had a great stay. Best wishes . Bimla

Great host, amazing location, and quite cute neighborhood incredibly close to the PATH! Hoboken was great and getting into Manhattan was incredibly convenient. The Airbnb was spotless and the couch was already made for my dad. Roomy, homey, and a great stay. Loved this place!! If I ever need an Airbnb in Hoboken I will look to rebook this place
