This property was perfect for our Leavenworth weekend get away! The rustic house had everything we wanted and we felt right at home. We couldn’t believe how perfect the location was, it was the best of both worlds: less than 10 mins to downtown Leavenworth and amazing wineries but located in a quiet peaceful area that felt safe and private. Once we checked in we had no reason to leave. This property had a game room, board games, a great kitchen and grill, a very clean well working hot tub with a beautiful view, lots of outdoor seating areas! It was so easy to unwind and relax. We were able to see lots of birds and even some wild turkeys. From booking to check out the communication with the Stay Rested team was extremely responsive, accommodating and made everything seamless! I am so happy we found this gem of a property and we look forward to staying there again.

2 weeks of peaceful country living! My husband and I "worked" from the house, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. It was great to take a break in the sun on the swing on the front porch or in a cushy chair on the back deck. Private-like setting, did not notice much of the neighbors' noise during our stay. Family came and went, and the upstairs bedrooms were sufficient for the 4 extra guests we had at 1 time. The living/dining area was spacious and room to play games at the table. Christine was very responsive to our needs and brought dish rags when we could not find any and extra paper products for our longer stay. We could not have asked for a better cabin away from home! We will be back!

A very cute cabin! My friends and I did a lot of research on different cabins before deciding to stay here. Sarah was always responsive, kind, and accommodating for our stay. There are little notes around the place that helped us with things around the cabin. She also reached out and gave us recommendations for the area! My friends and I had an amazing week here and we got really lucky with the weather as well! I would definitely recommend coming here for a quiet little cabin trip!

Choose this one! This was my second stay at the cabin, and it’s still hands-down my favorite in the area (and I’ve stayed at a few nearby)! It’s such an easy drive from Seattle, and once you’re here, it feels like you’re a world away, but still just a quick trip into town if you need anything. Perfect location IMO. The cabin itself is beautiful - everything is high quality and thoughtfully designed, cozy, and little details that make it feel extra special. The hosts also share a super detailed guidebook with all the info and recs you need to make the most of your stay. I loved starting my mornings with a quiet walk to the lake, and can't beat having your own private spa with the backyard sauna and hot tub. Can’t wait to come back again!

Excellent forest cabin getaway with everything you’d need. Host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! So close to hiking trailheads and cute Roslyn restaurants. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful peaceful setting! Cabin was perfect, with lots of space, and the deck was great for relaxing. Plenty of room outside for the dogs to roam and a walkable neighborhood. Only 3 miles to the state park and just 20 minutes from Leavenworth. Unfortunately, we didn’t stay long as it was just a stop over to our final destination , but we would definitely stay again. David was a great host.

Objectively: I loved this place and would have stayed longer if it had been available. The hot tub was great, functional, clean. Inside was super cozy and quiet. The motion sensing lights, garage use, and laundry machines were unexpectedly helpful. Overall, my time here left me feeling like I had been “home” for a bit. 💎- Subjectively: Helped me feel safer in the world and let me grieve some old personal loss. Thank you.

It was everything as advertised, and more. This was our first trip to this part of Washington and cannot wait to return and this home is a major reason. The instruction book was one of the finest I have ever read. The amenities were well thought out and expansive. Will return here in a heartbeat.

Super cute place to stay at! Quiet area which is great. Very close the lake. Had all the amenities you would need and extra like games, towels, & bathroom essentials. Taylor was very helpful and responsive to any questions I had!

The cabin was just as described. Clean, well stocked and organized, easy to settle in. The kids especially loved the upstairs bedroom and outdoor fireplace, grandma and grandpa loved the hot tub, and I loved the short walk to the beach. Everything was easy to find and use. Kirk was quick to respond to any questions we had. Excellent value.

We booked this cabin for a quick weekend getaway. Its location was great and walkable, and the room was clean and just as described. Would highly recommend it.

I had a lovely stay here! It's located is in a very peaceful and secluded area, and the cabin itself is well maintained and spotless. There were also so many big and small amenities (e.g. skewers were provided for roasting food over the fire) which were very welcome, and I felt right at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and worth the trip!

Elsa’s place was great for our family gathering. She was very responsive and gave us great recommendations for activities and where to go out to eat. We had a small issue nothing serious but she responded immediately. We all had a great time, we made good use of the playroom and the fire pit. It was great that we could have access to the private beach lake area; unfortunately the weather was not ideal. Overall a great place to stay and enjoy the beautiful area.

As we transitioned from highway to local street to the narrow road getting to the cabin, we could feel all the calm nature taking over. This getaway spot is the perfect balance between minimalism and essential needs. There's running water, electricity, heat, AC (which we definitely needed on a 90 degree day!), etc., but no excess of anything. It's a proper getaway without the challenges of being truly off grid and the view is amazing. My wife and I ate our breakfasts outside, so we could listen to the river and birds chirping. It's also just under 30 minutes to Leavenworth, which is a must-see town, so don't miss it. Everything we needed to know was in the first message from Steve, but he also reached out letting us know we could check in early. We had an issue with the breaker for the L2 charger tripping (wasn't a problem because we just charged at Safeway) that we mentioned after checking out and Steve promptly responded and let us know he replaced it! Great host and great cabin!

The cabin is very nice. It is thoughtfully decorated, has comfortable beds and linens, a well-stocked kitchen, good Wi-Fi, and quiet, and is in a stunning setting on a riverbank. Raye is super responsive. If it is your first time to Stehekin - and you plan to get around vs. staying at the cabin- you might want to organize some transportation if you want to get around, esp when it is 95+F, intermittently smokey. The ATV provided is only permitted to be used to get to the cabin when you arrive and back to the harbor when you depart. The bakery is only 0.5 miles away but the lake is 2.5 miles and the ranch is 7 miles. There is one set of trails (Rainbow loop) across from the cabin but the others are at the ranch - (lake trails are currently closed due to Pioneer fire 2024). There is a shuttle but it only runs 4x/day and you have to time it well on your return from the trails. No cell service.

This place is beautiful and we had an amazing time there. We definitely took advantage of the back patio which had an amazing view to the lake. Mornings were quiet and the nights had a sense of comfy. Firepit was a treat to have near the BBQ. Everyone was able to be close and have room to sit around and get comfortable. Although, we had some troubles with the kitchen stove. The left side of the stove would not boil water. The double doors, to the back porch was not easy opening and closing. The bedroom doors to the back patio was not easy getting open as well. I did send an email to Caroline, weeks before my arrival and never heard back from her. This was unfortunate.

It was a great little cabin to stay at. Very peaceful and private.

Amazing log cabin in a beautiful location right off of the cross country trials and close to downhill at Stevens.

We visited the cabin for a relaxing "reading retreat" with five women. We loved that the rooms were spread out and offered privacy, but the gathering rooms were large enough to seat us all comfortably. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. A highlight of the weekend was enjoying the sun and water views from the firepit area. I think this would be an excellent cabin for two families with kids to enjoy. The hot tub layout is not suited for more than two adults. It is mentioned in the listing, but we were still surprised at how far away the water is from the house in the winter. With a bit of snow, it's really difficult to even get remotely close to the water line. Not a dealbreaker, but we thought booking a "lakefront" cabin would allow cold plunging and it was not possible. Fang was super responsive and check-in check-out were a breeze. The town of Roslyn was super cute and coffee at Basecamp and dinner at the Mexican restaurant is highly recommended!

Katie's place was such a dream to stay at! We were looking for some places near Leavenworth for a holiday weekend that could accommodate a large group of friends (including little ones) and were very short on options, but lucked out with finding this cozy little house. Can't say enough good things about how clean, bright, and well-stocked this place was - they even had kid friendly supplies like a baby gate. AirBnB kitchens are kind of dicey, but this one was surprisingly well equipped. Katie was extremely responsive, proactive, and made sure we had everything we needed up to and during our stay. It did snow during our stay but the roads were kept pretty clear and we had no trouble getting in or out. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Hey a great time, nice cabin in a friendly safe area.. ponderosa community is active and secure. Staying in leavenworth can be a nightmare and overpriced, i was happy this was a much better option for my family and far more relaxing yet a short trip from town.
