Very nice little place to stay. Peaceful, quiet, clean, and great location for exploring the beautiful north.

Stephanie was a thoughtful host, easy to communicate and quick to respond. The apartment was equipped with everything you'd need and was so warm and cozy from the comfortable beds to the 'Franklin stove' gas heater. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The street was quiet and the grounds were lovely. It turned out that we had a personal connection to Stephanie and her husband which made our stay all the more amiable. I highly recommend staying at "Down the way from Duncan Bay'!

The perfect little studio for a solo traveler or couple looking to bounce between Mackinaw City/the surrounding area and Mackinac Island. Walking distance to downtown Mackinaw, Shepler's Ferry, and all the park benches along the shoreline with the view of the Mighty Mac Bridge that you could want! The place was clean, quaint, and cozy. I will definitely be looking to stay again on future visits!

This truly is a 5 star stay! It was convenient to the ferry and walkable to most of the things we wanted to do and see. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay. The bakery downstairs was a wonderful bonus with everyone being very friendly and helpful. Tim and Joanne were incredibly nice and went above and beyond with a little trinket and baked bread/wine. The place is so peaceful and absolutely beautiful. The vibes were amazing and just what we needed for a true Midwestern honeymoon celebration. Will definitely be returning in the future!😊

My company was doing a project in Petoskey and the guys were very tired. A lot of the hotels were booking up because of the weather we found this on Airbnb and they were so happy with the accommodations. It was just what they needed after of hard work . They loved it and we would absolutely recommend this place. Beautiful and well appointed !

Loved the place, it was comfortable, cozy, quiet, and convenient. Perfect for what we needed being just the two of us. Internet and TV worked great. Very nicely updated cabin feel and the fireplace is a nice touch. Would recommend and definitely would stay again when in the area!
