Yoko’s place is a great spot for quiet, peaceful evenings against the backdrop of crazy LA. Don’t book expecting to be in “the center of the action” but do expect somewhere to step away and relax and be able to get a good rest. Yoko was an amazing host and was very responsive to provide information as needed. My trip was relatively short but I can’t think of anything else I would have needed here. The room was huge, with a private attached bathroom. For you (mostly) non-Americans, the bathroom has a Toto washlet 😎 was a nice little surprise that I wasn’t expecting. All-in-all I absolutely would stay here again and would highly recommend for all the reasons above and more.

Feels like a gem of a location. A dead end street in a peaceful, hilly neighborhood and just down the hill are so many cool places to eat and drink. Just 5 to 10 minutes beyond that are many of L.A.s best sights. Small but well-appointed, and the host accommodated me last minute for a special request.
