Lake house holiday rentals in Chautauqua Lake

My family and I loved staying at Charlseas beautiful home. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed the sunrise and sunset views from the home. Charlsea always was available for anything we needed to make our stay comfortable. My family and I will never forget this trip.

This was great for our family. Both bathrooms were clean and the primary bedroom was spacious and neat and clean. The living room and Kitchen we plenty large enough to hang out in the mornings and the deck was great in the evening.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The facilities accommodated all our needs. The grandkids enjoyed fishing off the dock and I was able to moor the boat with ease. I have little doubt we will return to the Kingfisher in the future. Great hosts!

House was clean and cozy. Great location

This was our first experience staying on the lake. The house was a spacious paradise, beautifully firnished and serene. It felt like we were on our own island with an exceptionally long/sturdy private boat dock. We had the best time with the water crafts provided by Kirstan who was an excellent hostess, very welcoming of any inquiries. We are a family of eight and loved exploring the nearby town's shops and restaurants. There was not one thing that was not provided.

John and BillieJean are fantastic hosts! Their house is so inviting and warm. We immensely enjoyed the back porch/dock and were able to catch smallmouth bass, stripers, a few crappie, and a catfish. John was available for all of my questions and was quickly responsive. We will definitely stay again if our travels bring us back to NY.

Cute quaint little cottage… beautiful location

We will be back! My family and I have stayed in this house a few times, but this was our first since the new owners bought it.. and it this was our best stay yet! The house was even cleaner than before, stocked with more, and just a better homey feel. Plus, the kids toys were perfect for our littles. We plan to book next year!

Kathi’s house is just as described, when you walk in you feel the relaxation of a welcoming trip. It was shorter than we wanted to it to be, but we had an amazing time at her home. It’s definitely a refreshing, peaceful, and relaxing place. The weather was a little chilly so we were unable to use the beautifully landscapes yard, but the grill was clean and full of propane. Quality amenities and more in the kitchen! Such a lovely coffee bar, and comfortable furniture. A great time was had by all, playing board games and not once looking at our phones! Thank you again Kathi for your responsiveness and your courtesy while we stayed in your home.

Our stay at the cozy cottage was great for a long weekend away with the family (including our golden). The cottage was cute, clean and just what we needed for some family time at the lake. The dock access was great and even though we were there in October it would be amazing to have dock access in the summer months too! Kelsey, Olivia and their parents were super friendly and it was nice to know someone was on the property in case anything came up. Hoping to come back again in the summer!

We've stayed at Chad's home twice now, and it's absolutely incredible! The cabin feels like home, the property is immaculate and the pond is beautiful. This is the place if you're looking to be secluded in nature. We can't wait to plan our next trip out.

Wonderful place!! Home has all amenities with huge full windows & high ceilings overlooking the lake in a great small community of 50 private homes with lovely & friendly neighbors. Proximity to Jamestown & Chautauqua institutions was great. Use of bike paths in adjoining Camp Chautauqua(100 acre site with 100 mobile trailer homes & 20 small fixed homes ) was great Also private tennis/pickelball court available at no cost on premises & large pool on adjoining camp property available as well as 2 boat docks.Great & safe for young children as community is private with no through streets & most kids & people use golf carts. There is adjoining campsite playground on lakefront which is great for young children. Bring a boat or kayak along & use Chautauqua institutions nearby for nightly entertainment as well as day lectures , art instruction courses sailing school, variety of day courses & lectures with great theater & opera productions. only 3 miles away.

We had a great stay at the lake house! Brought a 21-foot deep V boat, launch is across the channel, we were able to use the dock with no issues. Just a heads up for future fishing guests: there’s no power at the dock, so plan ahead for charging needs. Parking the trailer was a little tight on the side, but definitely manageable. The house itself was clean, had plenty of sleeping space, and a large, comfortable family room perfect for relaxing after a day on the water. The neighbors were awesome, very welcoming and friendly. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely come back!

Wonderful visit! Kids loved the outdoor space (especially the swing and climbing tree), and there was plenty of space for everyone to comfortably enjoy a visit to the lake.

The house was very spacious and had 3 really nice bathrooms. Common areas had a lot of space and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. Perfect place for quality family time and enjoying the beauty of the lake!

We enjoyed our stay at Robyn's cottage in the quaint Lake Canadohta community. She even let us change our dates & check in early! Had 2 fires at the fire pit, too. Comfortable bed. The Frog Pond Restaurant has a nice "hoppy" hour, which we took advantage of.

We loved our stay at Pine Haven with our adult children, their spouses and our toddler grandbaby. What a peaceful setting with beautiful lakefront access and a fire pit--be prepared for amazing Lake Chautauqua sunsets! The nearby Dollar General and the Bemus Point Market were handy for a few forgotten items, and we enjoyed coffee and breakfast at the Lake Life Cafe. Kayak and paddle board rentals from Evergreen Outfitters (they deliver! ) provided some water fun as well! If you are traveling with young ones, you'll need to bring a high chair and a pack 'n' play. Also, there's limited space for a large family to sit down together for a meal. We managed to make it work on the deck for eight adults and a toddler, but inside you'll be split between a smaller dining table in the kitchen island countertop/stools. Carol was an incredibly responsive host, and the entire place was beautiful and spotlessly clean! We would happily do a repeat stay!

The location, amenities, and size were perfect for our family gathering. Furniture was comfortable, and the porch was great for socializing. Loved the separate cottage for my parents who are older and don’t want to stay up as late as the rest of the family. Proximity to the lake was convenient and walkable. Very clean and every detail was obviously thought of. We would like to come back again. Highly recommend!

India’s home near the lake was absolutely beautiful—spacious, peaceful, and full of charm. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. India was a kind and thoughtful host. We felt right at home and would love to come back. Highly recommend!

There were problems with the turnover at the house, and we had to do some light cleaning when we arrived, as well as remake the beds. But Crystalyn was incredibly responsive and made it right without any discussion. The house is very comfortable and has a great location, I would certainly recommend it to others. Great host as well.

We stayed for a weekend. Linens were clean. House a bit sparsely furnished, but comfortable. Window a/c in one bedroom upstairs. Low ceiling on the stairway to be aware of walking down stairs. Close to stores and restaurants.
