Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Château-Ville-Vieille

Tastefully renovated house in a village of character with lots of charm. The house is very nice and is much better than in the listing photos! The location is great for resting, walking and eating well. The locals are welcoming and put their heart and soul into showcasing their land. There's an excellent restaurant in the village that combines authenticity and refinement. Most of the products are made on site, including goat cheeses to die for. Lara welcomed us with great kindness. She also has a ceramic workshop with pretty pieces and makes products from strawberries and roses. This stay was a great discovery!

Gessica’s mountain home was a beautiful place to stay, not only because of the natural surroundings but also a well-crafted and put together house. Very cozy! Gessica was very communicative and helpful as well. Would highly recommend if you want to be in a small town with a stunning environment.

We just loved the design of the house, modern, clean and generous. The views from the house are spectacular. In every direction from the house are trails to take in the Alps. Some within walking distance, some a short drive away. We walked every trail we could find. In the spring, the meadows are carpets of flowers and the mountain views, lakes, very impressive. Some shops pre-season were closed, so you need to be careful with supplies, but loved the weekly market and eating goat from the local farmer!

Very quiet, secluded accommodation. Mountains and lake are directly in the vicinity, reachable by car within a few minutes. The accommodation has everything you need to relax for a few days.

Beautiful village. Silvana welcomed me warmly and it was pleasant to exchange a few words. Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped apartment, immersed in peace and beauty. The perfect outdoor space for reading and relaxing. I highly recommend it!

We had a pleasant stay. The accommodation is very close to the city center of Barcelonette, quiet in the owner's garden. The cottage is very cozy and cozy, furnished in the mountain style. We were able to enjoy the outdoors, garden furniture in the sun.

Excellent stay in this beautiful cottage offered by smiling and friendly hosts. We were able to enjoy the many activities offered nearby (skiing, skating, cinema, visit to Briançon, thermal baths, etc.). The house is very comfortable, tastefully furnished and the view day and night is truly exceptional. The ski area is huge and the infrastructure is of good quality. All supervised by smiling and caring staff despite the crowds.

Great week in the snow in this cozy apartment, we really enjoyed it. Very good hosting by Jean Marie who was very considerate and responsive. Cross-country ski rental very close, cross-country skiing departures and cross-country ski trail at the foot of the apartment! Notes: - no oven (only a microwave) - little natural light in the living room - pellet stove heating much appreciated, we never got cold!

Ground floor apartment in a 2-storey building, overlooking a very beautiful unobstructed view, on the mountain. The apartment is very well decorated, very clean and very well equipped. The bed is comfortable. Easy parking in front of the building. The village is 15/20 minutes' walk away

My husband and I came to rest in the spring at Renaud's home. We enjoyed the calm, the breathtaking view of the Orres mountain and its surroundings, and the amenities that were all useful, clean and in good condition. The stove was welcome in the evening, it's a plus! We were able to eat on the terrace in the sun, and we slept pretty well, the bedding is OK. What good points for this listing. If we needed anything extra, Renaud brought it to us quickly. We recommend!

The experience at Carla's place was perfect. A very kind and responsive host, he prepared a great breakfast cake for us. The house was super clean and equipped with all comforts. Sleeping with a fireplace next door was great.

We booked Vero's cottage for 3 nights and were charmed by its warm atmosphere. We had a great time in front of the fireplace, taking full advantage of its comfort. The rooms are spacious and pleasant to live in, which adds to the experience. Vero was very attentive to our requests and a great responsiveness in his responses, which we particularly appreciated. Without hesitation, we will book this cottage again during our next visit to the area. We would highly recommend!

This was paradise! We loved absolutely everything about the house, the location, the hosts, the welcome, the hikes. The house has everything we wished more, the kitchen is well equipped, far beyond any other house we ever rented. The decoration is in such a good taste, gives a feeling of peaceful home. The view is incredible. All the details are carefully considered and well communicated. We rested, hiked, ate, read, slept, - all in the quiet home in the mountains. We had a great time at Phill's and were pleasantly surprised by the garden particularly welcoming for children (trampoline, cabin...) and with a magnificent view! Phill was happy to advise us on some activities to do off the beaten path... He is a very pleasant and available host. We are very happy with our stay

Beautiful house in the middle of Sigoyer and perfect for any climbing trips to Ceüse. The house is very clean, well equiped, and Sophie has been a very good host, easy to communicate with. Cant wait to be back!

The house is very large with a beautiful view of the mountains. Perfect for a family. Access and parking are easy. The accommodation is located 20 minutes' drive from Praloup 1600.

Lovely place with a big garden! Christelle was very helpfull and we could contact her every time we want. The cat was a bit shy at first, but was easy to approach later on. There is so much too do in this erea, definately will come back to this place.

We had a great time, the apartment is very well furnished, it lacks nothing, the furniture is quality, we were right next to Gap 20 minutes from Ancelle I highly recommend this place.

Perfect accommodation for our cycling trip. Spotless and well equipped property in a quiet area just outside town. But a lovely 15 minute walk into Bourg. Would definitely stay again
