Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chartres

We had a great time with the family. The cottage is very welcoming, clean and the little touches are too nice. We enjoyed the garden and the beautiful terrace overlooking the sheep meadow. We'll be happy to go back.

House: clean, large enough, well-equipped, pleasant garden, quiet Location: greenery, small children's park, shops in the surrounding towns accessible by car, train station accessible on foot in 20 min. Host: good communication We had a good weekend, don't hesitate!

Very relaxing, very quiet and peaceful place, comfortable accommodation, very good quality, everything was very clean and well thought out, neat decor, the kitchen was well equipped apart from a small leak coming from the coffee maker, we preferred not to use it, the sauna was very nice , the balneo was very nice but being in the cellar there was a smell of humidity. Stephane was very welcoming, we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect house for a weekend in the countryside 1 hour from Paris. The house is neat and warm and the garden perfect for children. Lots of activities in the area on the good advice of Marion! We had a great time and highly recommend it!

I was delighted with this week spent with Pascale and François, who were particularly welcoming and caring towards me. The cottage is very clean, functional, ideally located for lovers of calm. Anne was an excellent host, and her place is lovely. It was the perfect size for a family of four (would be tight with more), and the building was lovely. Very convenient (5 minute) walking distance to two train stations made it an easy commute in to Paris. There were a few grocery/convenience stores within an easy walk as well as some restaurants with long hours good for people arriving jet lagged. Anne’s place is perfect for a small family or couple wanting a getaway a little away from the hustle of Paris, with easy access to the city. We didn’t need A/C, the windows cooled the place off nicely.

Last minute booking to stay one night at Elodie’s place as we passed through Orleans. Elodie responded very quickly, with clear instructions for check in. House was clean, tidy, comfortable, with a great location close to local attractions and restaurants. A lovely stay!

Very pleasant stay, the house is renovated with great taste. Breakfast was very good and Arnaud was a good source of advice for nearby accessible restaurants (note that there are none in Bonnelles itself).

On a weekend with friends, we had a great stay at Thanom and Fred's: wonderful garden and outdoor equipment, everything we needed on site to cook, top bedding, we saved the address in our favorites and will come back without hesitation. Thanom and Fred were super available and flexible, thank you again to them.

The house was spotless and true to the photos. It was large and pleasant, well-equipped. Everything was easy and very well indicated. The house was also very suitable for children (outdoor/indoor games/small bedroom/cribs/high chairs/children's dishes/secure pool). Peaceful and private house. We loved our stay at Lionel's beautiful place to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday. The family and our pets all enjoyed the lovely house and we found it very relaxing and a special stay. The house is well situated for nearby attractions like the zoo and Versailles and it doesn't take long to get into Paris on the train. Lionel was a great host, was really friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Thank you!

Katia is very responsive! She responds at a phenomenal speed, which is reassuring when you rent a property like this. The house was surely designed by an architect, the light enters very well and the spaces are well optimized. Small peculiarity that is not seen in the photos, the kitchen and the living room are on the first floor (in the Nantes style I was told) but it did not pose a problem beyond measure. The garden/terrace is rather large, largely for relaxing and eating meals all together. If you come by car, you have to park in the "des petits ponts" parking lot, also called "la mare aux canards" parking lot in Chevreuse: the house is 50 m from the entrance to the parking lot. This parking is free, sometimes very crowded (we were there the weekend of the ascension and it was very nice) but there is always a place for 4-5 cars. I would highly recommend it!
