Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Charneca da Caparica

Bruno and Rita we're wonderful hosts and the Airbnb was charming, spacious, clean, and very close to the beach. It was exactly what we were looking for. And you can see the ocean from multiple rooms which really makes a beach vacation compete.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Probably one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Patricia was extremely helpful for whatever is needed and very flexible with check in times. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Overall a fantastic experience

Het is een mooi verblijf zoals op de foto’s te zien. In de ruime woning heb je genoeg plek om terug te trekken of juist met elkaar te zijn. We hebben erg genoten van de verkoeling in het zwembad, de kamers zijn ook voorzien van airco. Een leuke plek om met een groep naar toe te gaan. Houdt er wel rekening mee dat wanneer je iets wilt doen je met de taxi naar het centrum moet gaan. Maar is prima te doen a 30-45 min met de taxi.

Wir waren mit Freunden da und das Haus war perfekt dafür geeignet. Der große Essbereich, die vielen Schlafzimmer und der einmalige Pool mit Blick bis zum Meer haben uns überzeugt. Für besondere Anlässe kann man seit neuestem eine Art Wintergarten dazu mieten, der riesig ist und zum Verweilen im Garten einlädt, auch bei niedrigeren Temperaturen. Die Zufahrt mit einem Camper ist etwas eng, sobald es Gegenverkehr gibt. Wir waren zunächst auch etwas verunsichert, weil es ein Durchfahrts-Verboten Schild für Wohnmobilen gibt. António hat uns dann abgeholt und uns alles gezeigt. Er war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar und wir durften unseren Camper mit Strom und Wasser befüllen.

Esta casa é um paraíso mesmo ao lado de Lisboa! Passei três dias neste lugar com os meus amigos e é consensual que é a nossa casa de sonho. Todos moramos em Lisboa e podíamos ter pensado que não valia a pena alugar uma casa a 40 minutos de distâncias mas, sem sombra de dúvida, foi a melhor decisão que tomámos! A casa vale só por si, pois tem uma vista fantástica, rodeada de natureza, no cimo de um vale, e uma piscina maravilhosa, com vista directa para o pôr do sol. A luz dourada deixa saudade! Também aproveitámos as praias Palmela e Sesimbra, que se destacam pela água turquesa e pela vegetação em volta. Quem me dera passar mais tempo neste alojamento! É dos lugares mais bonitos onde já estive. A casa em si é confortável e bem equipada e a Annemie é uma pessoa super acessível e muito simpática! E adorámos a gatinha Tigra, é muito doce. Sinto-me sortuda por este fim-de-semana neste lugar mágico.

Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt in Lissabon in einer sehr schönen Wohnung mit bequemen Masterbett, toller Aussicht vom Balkon mit wunderbarem Weitblick. Tolle Küche, spannende Möbel mit Geschichte. Im fensterlosen, kleinen Bad wird es schnell sehr stickig, aber dennoch toll ausgestattet für die Größe.

Million Dollar view. Very well and tastefully decorated with all everything needed. We were 4 but more guests could easily be accommodated. A car to get to the center of Sesimbra, the beaches and other nearby attractions is recommended. The dedicated parking space right in the center of Sesimbra is a definite plus. Having said that, Bolt and Uber also worked quite well even late at night coming back from Lisbon. Rides are relatively affordable. The communication with the host was flawless! Great stay!

beautiful, spacious apartment in great location. added bonus of an outside terrace to relax after a busy day. very close to train station where hop on/off buses and tuk tuks will take you to all the sights. trains make it a little noisy, but worth it for the location. plenty cafes and restaurants around

We had a wonderful experience staying at Rafael's apartment. It was a fully equipped apartment that was very comfortable, exactly as described, spotlessly cleaned (maintained by a cleaning lady once a week) and in a beautiful residential area. Rafael was also lovely to communicate with, very helpful and always making sure we were ok. We'll be staying at this apartment in the future too!

There is no elevator in the building and to get to the unit, you would need to climb 3 flights of stairs. If that doesn't matter to you then this place is 100% worth it. The place itself is nice, clean, and very aesthetic. There is one main bedroom and a loft type. In the loft, there are 3 beds, so this is perfect for families. The only downside is the slope of the ceilings, so tall people would have to adjust accordingly. Dina was very accommodating and extremely pleasant to talk to. She constantly wished us a nice and relaxing stay, and was very understanding despite a miscommunication on our end. There is an Aldi about 10 minutes walk away which is perfect for those who need to go to grocery shop. There is also a beautiful beach 5 minutes away by Uber / Bolt. There are also a number of local restaurants near the accommodation. Overall, our stay here was pleasant and I would definitely recommend Dina's place to others visiting Portugal.

We had an amazing 4-night stay in this beautiful apartment! From the moment we booked, the host was extremely responsive and helpful—quick to answer any questions and even allowed us to check in early, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The apartment itself is stunning, with gorgeous decorations that make it feel both stylish and comfortable. It’s located in an incredible neighborhood right in the heart of Alfama—perfect for exploring on foot. We loved all the food, drink, and shopping recommendations provided; every place we tried was fantastic. Overall, it was a perfect home base for our trip. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Wunderschöne Wohnung in toller Lage, perfekt ausgestattet. Besonders gut haben uns der Ausblick auf die Stadt vom Balkon, die Restaurants, Bars und die Viewpoints in unmittelbarer Nähe gefallen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es direkt um die Ecke. Vielen Dank auch für die Möglichkeit, außerhalb der festen Zeiten einzuchecken. Die Unterkunft ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

This place was so much nicer than we even expected! The balcony view is so nice, the inside of the apartment is very spacious (it was me, my partner and our nearly 2 year old son) and the location was perfect, near the beach and beautiful parks and cafes. Claudio was an excellent host, we are so grateful for this stay. He also had left us with some food/drinks which was lovely! Highly recommend and will stay again when visiting 😊

The photos do not do the size or beauty of this home justice! I have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and there is not one that I would rank more highly than Francisco’s. Clean and practical but with old charm the home welcomes you immediately upon entering. The views are stunning, location convenient, the kitchen well equipped and the pool relaxing. It is the perfect space to unwind and spend quality time with friends or family. I would highly recommend!

Loved our stay! Beautiful villa with all we needed. Great garden and pool with shady areas for the hot weather. Short drive from great beaches and all Lisbon has to offer

What a nice relaxing week we had couldn’t of been better great place

This is an incredible villa. Every last detail was wonderful it has incredible amenities and a beautiful, scenic and isolated location. We had a group of 11 for a week stay and everyone fit and had comfortable stays. The hosts were extremely communicative and helped us with any issues with responsive communication and prompt resolutions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Wonderful stay, wonderful memories so thank you to Guilherme and Antonio.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

Lior was a lifesaver to us after our airbnb fell through last minute — he responded within minutes, got on the phone and met us at a coffee shop before checkin. Totally eased our concerns after being cancelled on. His place was decorated super well, had plenty of space and even a tennis court. Honestly I couldn’t have imagined staying anywhere else.

The facilities and living/sleeping spaces were amazing for our family of 10 adults plus a 2-year-old. 6 large comfortable bedrooms. the pool was brilliant as we could roll back the cover for sunbathing and close it for indoor swimming when it got chilly. the pádel court was a hit as was the 5 aside football pitch. The indoor games room had everything (pool, table tennis, darts, computer games etc...) so great for evening activities. The Lidl was 10 minutes drive and had most things (not so great on veggie options though). The beach was a 5 minute drive away - we didn't try cycling there as there is a steep hill. We had cars but tbh might have been better ubering as only really needed for Lidl and the beach. Elisa was fantastic - really quick to respond and sent lots of great recommendations. highly recommended
