Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Charente

We had a great stay in Sigogne at Véronique's. For a Team Building, it was ideal: company visits during the day, workshops and relaxation in the evening in this superb house. Great comfort and equipment. We will come back without hesitation!

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

We had a great time! Marie-Claude is charming and welcoming. The place is ready for a green one! In a quiet, typical and flowery place, it is a real haven of serenity. If in addition you are lovers of bucolic walks, this is the perfect place. I would 100% recommend!

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We loved this charming little house with a small stream, very well received by warm and friendly hosts - really what more can I say, we loved it, we will go back for sure and I highly recommend this rental, unfortunately we did not have enough time to visit the surroundings. Anthony and Virginie offer a BEAUTIFUL and FUNCTIONAL accommodation. The master suite is a big plus. Everything is tastefully decorated, everything is impeccable and looks new! Located right next to a pedestrian street, it is very easy to walk from the doorstep. Responsive and flexible, Anthony and Virginie allowed us to arrive and leave at times that were favorable to us! Nothing to say, everything was perfect, thank you for everything.

Really a beautiful discovery. In a very quiet neighborhood, overlooking the cathedral. A simple apartment to access, with everything you need. And the owner was really attentive to making sure everything went well. I'm holding the address!
