Holiday rentals with breakfast in Chandragiri

Dinesh is a super chill guy that has his mission on keeping the heritage home clean and organized and having his guests enjoy their stay. Dinesh’s family is also welcoming and care about the guests. In fact they have hosted guests for more than 10 years, they only used airbnb recently, so they are actually very experienced in making an enjoyable stay. Just notice, some parts the ceilings are low due to the heritage house, if you are very tall ask about the height first.

This charming, cozy room was located in a gated complex. There is a kitchen and bar located directly on the property that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef Nir will also be opening a bakery very soon. The location is one block behind the stupa and there is no shortage of restaurants and shopping. Sonam was exceptionally helpful in responding to my questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The walk to Bouddha was delightful, with plenty of food options nearby. We had an incredible conversation with our host, Januka, who was very knowledgeable about the area. Her family was extremely helpful, and we truly experienced the welcoming, guest-first culture we had heard so much about. Although we didn’t get to do yoga this time, we will definitely be back here.

Such a great, warm and welcoming family. I felt at home, immediately. All was easy and flexible, no matter what time i wanted to leave or come back home. Earlier breakfast and late dinners, according to my own schedule and wishes were always provided and they were delicious 😋. Missing Dhal Bat with Curry and pickled vegetables, already.... The whole house is kept to its cleanest and you can enjoy a western style and modern living, as well as a more traditional one. There is a garden in front of the house which provides the best fruits, from Pomelo, Guave, Passion fruit and all the veggies used for cooking - 100% healthy organic food. My best part though was the hiking days i enjoyed several times with the head of the family. He is very friendly, calm and knows the area best. Best guide in Pharpin! We felt very welcome at Sunil’s place. We were in the house of the family but had our private room and bathroom. They are very open to help and chat, and prepare meals when we wanted to eat there, and at the same time we felt totally free to go out and come in, or just watch a movie in our room at night. Sunil and his family are definitely examples of the reknowned Nepalese hospitality and friendliness! I highly recommend to stay over at Sunil’s place!

The home was wonderfully cosy and felt right at home from the first day. It was really sad to leave after staying 6 nights here. Peaceful surroundings, yet also conveniently located. Easy for taxi drivers to find. BIA cafe is within walking distance. There were no power outages and drinking water was provided.

It is a wonderful, spacious (with private balconies in all the rooms) and a safe place to stay with 24 hours security inside a gated apartment buildings. The place is centrally located in a good neighborhood of Kathmandu. The hosts were very responsive and friendly and provided us with other help (cook/cleaner) while we stayed there. I would certainly take this place again for my next visit to Kathmandu. Regards AG

Very beautiful apartment. All amenities available, no need to ask anything, everything you need is already present inside Very helpful host. Location is in a peaceful area, no noise or disturbance.

Uma was very accommodating, she communicated well with us and was very welcoming. We felt right at home being able to cook in the kitchen and visit with family in the area. Would stay here again when in Kathmandu

Thank you so much Taleju Grand Team I enjoyed my stay. The room was so clean and comfortable, with a desk to finish work online and good internet. The location is in Durbar square with a nice rooftop and delicious breakfast provided. Just next door is The Muglan, that had daily lovely life music that ends at 9pm, that you can watch from the rooftop or go and enjoy a delicious meal and a good vibe. Special thanks to Suman who helped me book my bus to Chitwan, to the lovely reception lady, Punam who was always cheerful and supportive and the kitchen team for the delicious breakfast. Highly recommended and I will come again while in Bhaktapur 🙏✨🌞

The food is also very clean and cozy, the only thing is that the hot water is not enough, but everything else is perfect to stay in a very good homestay!

We had a great time there. The location is excellent really in the heart of the old city. The room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Quiet at night. A little bit of noise in the morning but we loved waking up with the locals and enjoy the day. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We will come back to his guesthouse when we visit bakhtapur again. Highly recommended

The bed was super comfortable, and the facilities were just perfect – especially the beautiful rooftop seating area! ☕️🌸 Location-wise, it couldn't be better: - Garden of Dreams– just a 5-minute walk! 🌺 - Durbar Square– a 15-minute walk through colorful streets and local markets! ⛩️ - Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)– a short 10-minute taxi ride! 🐒 - Pashupatinath Temple– about 20 minutes by taxi! - Boudhanath Stupa – a scenic 25-minute drive! 🛕 - Tons of amazing cafes, restaurants, and shops Getting around was super easy – taxis and bike rentals are readily available. The staff at Soham’s place were always ready to help with anything.

Absolutely loved this stay in the heart of Thamel - kathmandu's trendy district. The rooms were cosy and well equipped. There is a well decor'd rooftop space that it's super chill; we spent a lot of time there. Amit, the owner, was a fun conversationalist and we thank him for hanging with us. We had such a blissful time at Milla Guesthouse - It was our first holiday together as a new family, with our 9 month old son, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The guesthouse is gorgeous, and our lovely room had everything we needed - we particularly enjoyed sitting up on the roof terrace and watching the sun set over the valley. I travel internationally a lot for work and this was the best guesthouse i have ever stayed at. My husband and I also loved chatting with Laxman dai and Sanu aunty, who were so warm and welcoming. They made us feel incredibly comfortable and took so much care playing with our son. We really appreciated it! We can't wait to come back again.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hira Guest House, Yelos and Mika (the sweet lad in the kitchen) made our stay feel like home away from home. The place is a perfect place to plunge into the past, the rustic decor, clean sheets, friendly staff is just perfect. Yelos art is exceptional and praise worthy. It was fun to see Patan and walk the narrow mysterious aisles with Yelos. He is a perfect tour guide too! Make it your home too dear loggers!
