What a fantastic place and a great host! As soon as we walked in the door it was easy to relax and enjoy Salida to the fullest. Short walk to the river and great restaraunts. Felt 100% comfortable, welcome, and at ease here. Perfect place to start the morning and unwind after enjoying a full day.

Great place to stay in the heart of the "new" downtown Buena Vista! Also, in easy walking distance to the "old" downtown Buena Vista! The place itself is clean and comfortable. You'll be happy staying here!!!

Needed extra space for daughter’s family of four. This was perfect! They were able to stay downstairs in a quiet and private space, but still be part of our family vacation.

Super cute stay right downtown in BV. Location was super walkable and easy to get to. The place had everything I needed and created a cozy environment for a weekend getaway. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at Meg’s cute home recently. We had a wonderful stay! The home is spotless, from top to bottom everything was clean and in good working order. Entry was easy, with plenty of parking. The kitchen was stocked with just enough essentials like coffee, tea, sugar, baggies, dish soap, etc. The City Market is well stocked, so we picked up a few items. There were plenty of games and books available, and a nice basket of brochures to help us plan our days. You will not find a better location to stay in Buena Vista, especially if you are looking for a good mix of things to do. We drove to the top of Cottonwood Pass in about 40-minutes. This is a must-do for sightseeing. We played games in the evenings after dinner, and walked the historical downtown area which is packed full of great eateries and boutique shops. We already talking about our next visit, as the activities in the area are limitless…. Biking, rafting, hiking, etc.

This place is exactly as advertised. Very clean and cozy for a couple. Easy to get in and out. Parking close by. Walkable to all the great downtown BV spots and also an easy drive to everything fun to do in the area - rafting, hiking, hot springs. We loved it and hope to be back!

Joelle and Erik were incredible hosts! This is probably top of our list of favorite Airbnb’s that we’ve ever stayed at! It was a really cool space - had everything we needed, unbeatable location, super kid friendly. More importantly, Joelle and Erik were such gracious and proactively helpful hosts. We cane into town for a wedding and at the last minute our sitter bailed. I reached out to J + E and they got right on, finding us a rockstar sitter just days before the event! Totally saved us a ton of stress and ultimately saved our vacation! What more can you ask for in a host?? Cannot say enough good things about this place - take your fam and enjoy! The hardest part was convincing the kids to leave the Airbnb!

Excellent spot in the heart of downtown Salida, only a couple of blocks away from everything. Great communication with the host leading up to check in. I would definitely stay at this location again.

This place is amazing! Hidden away but close to everything. It’s a large space yet supper cozy with beautiful surroundings areas. Wonderful for families. The host was super attentive. Hope we can come back and stay here again. We loved it.

The house is in a great location in downtown Buena Vista. Walkable to restaurants, shops, the river trails, close to everything yet still in a quiet location. Parking is on the street and fills up during the day but by 9:00 pm is pretty empty. The house was spacious, comfortable king size bed, really large bathroom, my husband had to work so having the large desk/workspace area with good wifi was a plus. The kitchen area is small but good for quick meals and snacks. There are several great options just steps away though for food and drink. It was just me and my husband but the place is large enough for a family.

Everything was great. And the host was responsive and helpful at every stage of the process. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would book again for a future visit. Clean, friendly and welcoming in all ways.

Beautiful Airbnb in the heart of South Main! Easy walk to The Surf Hotel, boulder garden, restaurants and the river. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would definitely consider booking again! The only thing to be aware of is that South Main has construction going on. Throughout the day dump trucks and other construction vehicles could be heard driving by the property. However none of the construction is immediately next door and it was quiet at night.

Everything was as expected. Host went above and beyond when we asked if another fan was available. They didn’t have one on hand but when returned after a day of adventuring a new fan was waiting for us at our door.

Cool spot with lots to do within walking distance. Beautiful corner of Buena Vista. We were in town for a half marathon a block away from the starting/finish line. The place was clean and perfect for two families with small children. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Great place/company! They had a mix-up with the booking so my wife and I didn't actually stay at the place we booked; instead we got an upgraded place to stay at due to the mix-up!

Loved our stay here! Awesome location, walking distance to bars & restaurants and very close to hiking/mountain biking trails. The south main area is gorgeous. The space was extremely comfortable and clean. We will be back!

If you find yourself visiting Buena Vista, you will want to stay in this neighborhood. So close to the Arkansas River, the best restaurant in Buena Vista - Wesley and Rose, and nice little coffee places, and a brewpub near by. The space was spotless and comfortable for one or two guests. The staff at the Surf Hotel were accommodating and friendly. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect spot for me to spend my working vacation.
