Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Havana

I stayed in Carlos' apartment in Havana and found it very welcoming, located in a delightful area of the city, perfect for immersing yourself in the local atmosphere. Although not a very recent construction, it is still well-functioning and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Recommended for those looking for an authentic and comfortable experience.

My friends and I (6 people) felt safe and secure at Tania's house for two weeks. The house staff was polite and always available to help us and kept our stay comfortable. We are grateful for the opportunity to check in early in the morning upon arrival. A pleasant bonus was the presence of WiFi, which nevertheless can work unstable depending on the day of the week and time of day, which is a peculiarity of the work of the Cuban telecom operator. It is impossible not to mention the presence of a large terrace on the roof of the house, where in the evenings you can discuss with friends plans for the coming days of the trip and drink a couple of cocktails.

Amazing appartement! Calm place and the terrasse is great. I have nothing negative to say about this place. If you want to have a quiet and private place, this is certainly a good choice. 15 minutes away from the Capitol by walk! Every question I had was proactively answered!

My stay at Zunilda’s was great. I had nothing to complain about. The loft is beautiful! Just like the pictures. I love the views of Havana and how the terrace can be wide open. I loved that I had the option of fresh air or air conditioning. The restaurants I wanted to visit were not far away. And old Havana was about 8 mins away via taxi. She made my welcome so easy with accommodating a taxi for my arrival. Zunilda also provides a phone. Which was a life savor for my boyfriend and I. Zunilda’s sister, Malaena was amazing as well; she communicated with us, gave us pointers for food and helped us with exchanging money. She also accommodated for our taxi to leave. The two things I was worried about in Cuba was having a cell phone and exchanging money, and Zunilda and Malaena provided that for us, making that worry go away. Thank you so much for having us and we shall return.

incredible value. we have the entire place to ourselves and it was just four of us. super helpful staff that gave recommendations on things to do and where to go along with exchanging money and making meals on demand. we hung out with them and got to really enjoy ourselves. I would recommend this location for groups that want to be close to everything and walkable. also nice that there is security at the house every evening and staff available 24/7 to help with any needs.

Margarita's house is one of the most beautiful homes I've stayed in. The pictures don't actually do it justice. The back yard is very large and lush, full of fruit trees and song birds. The pool was a great place to spend the afternoon. The home has everything you might need. Margarita was very quick to answer any questions that we had. Niurka and Nieve, the sisters who cook breakfast and clean up, are so wonderful. We are gluten free and our daughter is also vegetarian. They provided great breakfasts full of fruit, cheese and eggs any way you want them. They could not, obviously, provide gluten free bread. However, we brought our own pancake mix and they became experts very quickly. We also asked them to prepare us some meals, which were delicious. The cost is similar to what you'd pay in a restaurant, but we had so much that we had leftovers for the next evening (and then some). A great chance to have some tasty Cuban cuisine. The house is in a small neighbourhood right across from the fortifications. If you want to get over to the other side of the harbour, you'll need a taxi (about 10 cuc). It's very peaceful. I really can't say enough about this place!

It's an incredibly spectacular house. Large comfortable and house room with its bathroom and total privacy. Ideal to share with friends and have a great time in the large patio with a pool. Cleanliness and comfort of 10!

Casablanca is like a home away from home. Very accommodating, relaxing and great service. My only suggestion would be to invest in a generator for when the power is cut off by the government, ensure that all your supplies are stocked(no ping pong balls) and provide a list of what you have stocked in the minibar upon check in. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to everyone visiting Havana.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay at The Gardens! This beautifully renovated traditional home was the perfect mix of charm and luxury—comfortable, well-appointed, and we truly needed nothing. The rooftop pool and garden were stunning, a peaceful retreat after days exploring Havana. Issy and her staff were fabulous—warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful with every detail. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious, the food was amazing, and the mojitos were hands down the best in town! We also appreciated the many thoughtful services offered, the team can arrange anything and everything. Their hospitality made our stay extra special. The Gardens was a true highlight of our trip—thank you Issy and team for making us feel so welcome. We hope to return

Great location and a stunning house and garden. Ernesto and Adrian were very attentive to our needs and even helped me get groceries and brought over some camomile tea when my cousin had some cramps.

Big and nice Important to note that the location is not as it was indicated on the map in Airbnb where it seems like it very close to the old town. I think the address is correct in the ad, but it appears wrongly in the map on Airbnb

large high ceiling clean etc. Amelia speaks English fluently. Everyone responds right away and will be at the door or text as the need required. Sociable and listens. I would return to this one and stay longer. They know what a feel a visitor needs to feel comfortable.

Our stay was very pleasant and really facilitated by the help provided by Vlad and his family. They were very helpful and available to help us with whatever we needed, from internet access to the sightseeing we did. They gave us great tips for staying in Havana and ideas for tours we could do. The house environment was cleaned almost every day, with bed and bath linens always changed for new and clean ones. The decoration is charming and, despite the heat, inside the apartment it was very cool due to the ventilation and air conditioning. Certainly, our stay was one of the highlights of the trip.

Without a doubt had the best stay - we actually extended bc we were so cozy. Lena was super helpful, even made us breakfast daily and provided us with a Cuba cell phone + exchanged money for us. It’s def more of an authentic location (Chinatown) BUT super safe, lots of locals, walking distance to OLD HAVANA and tons of nearby eats and cabs- def better suited for younger. We LOVED IT!

Camera on the inside of the front door, before you go upstairs to the apartment. Store right next door for drinks, food, etc. Restaurants just a block away. Rolando was a very efficient and always attentive host, offering appropriate and satisfactory answers, his apartment is very well located in Habana Vieja, with many small shops and services around the building. The apartment is very well appointed and convenient. There are many accessories in the kitchen. The small terrace offers an interesting view of some of the Capital's monuments. Note the efficient air conditioning in the rooms. Very good choice for those who want the authenticity of Habana Vieja!

The apartment is on the 3rd floor in an apartment building with an elevator, a guard sits at the entrance at night, there is a camera on the ground floor, also a camera on the 3rd floor, Ariadne lives nearby, on the 2nd floor, so she is always ready to quickly come to the rescue. The apartment consists of a common living room and 2 private rooms with their own bathrooms. The rooms have beds, clothes hangers, safes, and bathrooms. In the living room, there is a refrigerator, as well as a working piano and a large table, as well as a coffee table. One of the disadvantages is that in one room in the bathroom there is simply no mirror (it is not clear how this is) and there was a problem with the water drain - the water simply did not drain, in the other room in the bathroom the exhaust is very noisy. And in general, there are problems with silence here - there are buildings nearby, where there are a lot of outdoor air conditioning units, so everything is noisy. The view from the windows is none, only at close range to the neighboring buildings, so you won't be able to take any photos of the view. Overall, everything is alright.
