Apartment holiday rentals in Havana

This apartment was very centrally located in Old Havana. It was also very clean. My only reservation is the size of the apartment, though well laid out, is small (price to size comparison). Also, watch your head when climbing the stairs you can easily hit your head. Lastly the immediate area is a little dirty but this is not their responsibility…

This was my third vacation to La Habana and I brought a friend with me to experience the culture of Havana. I selected this Maylin’s place based on the reviews and knew it was a very desirable location. I would agree with the reviews that I read regarding Maylin’s place and really enjoyed our 9 day stay. Javier and Ivis are the onsite hosts were very kind and quick to respond to any questions or concerns – I couldn’t have asked for better attention. I communicated with google translate with no problem. It is an incredible location and the balcony overlooking Plaza Vieja that can’t be beat. You can see locals going about their daily lifes and the sounds of live Cuban music from the restaurants around the Plaza. Make sure to have your phone “unlocked” before arriving and get a Cuban SIM for connection. I hope to stay here again. Any problems we experienced are normal in Cuba and are not exclusive to this place and should not reflect negatively on our wonderful hosts.

My stay was wonderful. Aileen takes care of all you need to have a good experience. She is always attentive and willing to help. I definitely recommend this place!

Excellent apartment, in the heart of Havana Vieja. Great location, 5 minutes' walk from Plaza Vieja and 10 minutes from the Capitol. Equipped, open and very charming kitchen, two good bedrooms, two good bathrooms, careful decoration. The neighborhood is, all of it, very degraded, with great poverty and a lot of garbage in the streets: for those looking for an aseptic hotel, this is certainly not a good option. But for those looking for the genuine city, life and local daily life, this is an excellent address. Cláudia, who takes care of the apartment, is super-efficient, helpful and lovely! I absolutely recommend it!

I had a great time. First time at this rental. Great location....power didn't go off. Very spacious apartment. Secure entrance. Camera on the inside of the front door, before you go upstairs to the apartment. Store right next door for drinks, food, etc. Restaurants just a block away. The owner was helpful with any questions I had. Wifi was good! Bathroom is big and nice. Highly recommend this place! I had a great time. It was my first time at this accommodation. The apartment is spacious, very cool, organized and very clean, but the best thing is the coast Malecón and the national hotel, the attention of Betsy and Gladis is Better, always attentive and ready to help, we would definitely come back

The description and photos are as published Very comfortable and practical Although it is 2 blocks from the Capitol, we don't think the location is the best... we arrived on a Sunday and it was full of people... Marcos and his partner welcomed us and gave us many local recommendations, we are very grateful to them! They were very kind and attentive to our needs at all times Thank you!!!

was nice to stay there

It’s a nice big renovated space for two or three people. It has everything that you need. Also you can ask owners to give you extra amenities and they are ready to share. They live next door. Super convenient. It is right in the city centre, next door is money exchange place and owners were happy to help with that as well. It is in 5 min walk to the waterfront and you can see the sea from the balcony. The electricity power and internet was off for certain hours and owners let me know in advance when it will be off. It’s everywhere on Cuba, so it’s hard to complain. I enjoyed my stay, was fairly cheap for such a nice place. Highly recommend.

I loved the stay with Yeni, she and her husband were super friendly and gave us many recommendations and were attentive to any need that we might have, the location is perfect for walking the Havana trip, the apartment is super clean, cool for the heat in the city... I would definitely come back!!!

Enrique was communicative and helpful all the time before and during our trip. Tb offered a breakfast prepared for $5 for each person who was rich and although there was no washing machine the lavo our clothes when we ask. The place was on the third level of a nice building and below there is a place where you can buy snacks if you want. We broke a dish and he told us nothing happened. The place was nice and clean. I would stay the other time and recommend the place to other hospedes.

Words are not enough to express our gratitude for the experience we had in this beautiful apartment! The apartment itself gorgeous, very spacious and extremely well decorated. We loved every detail! There were terraces and views in every direction! Breakfast on the terrace upstairs every morning was delicious and stunning! And pool was wonderful for our tired bodies and feet that danced all day and night. And July, our host was absolutely the best!!!! He was so sweet, helpful and accommodating!! We will be back for sure!!

One of the best airbnb's we ever had! Perfect location, nice restaurants and shops closeby and very close to the centre of Havana. The appartment is perfect, lots of space, great wifi, big kitchen with espresso machine! The best is the rooftop with different terraces where you can relax in the jacuzzi and sit comfortable during day and night with a drink and nice view of the sea and the city! Yoanne and Azaray are the best, they are always available for help and tips. We will come back for sure!

Amazing space! KC took care of us from start to finish from ordering us taxes, find good rates for us and just being available for any mishap we experienced. She was super accommodating and responsive to any question or request we had. Our breakfast was wonderful everyday we had it ordered. Book the space if you’re unsure of how to navigate Havana, she will handle it!
