Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Centre County

This is the second time we have stayed in this home. When we found out our basketball tournament was in State College again, the kids requested we book the same place as last time. It’s the perfect spot for our kids and their friends!

Booked a weekend with 3 of my riding buddies for the Rothrock Grit Gravel Grinder race. Excrement location 2 miles from the race and a quick walk to the after party at Boalsburg Brewing. Property is super cool. After the ride we sat in the stream for some cold therapy on our legs and had a beer. Place is very roomy, beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean, huge dining table with setting for 10, etc. You can easily fit 3 cars in the driveway and there's ample after parking right out front if needed. Will definitely try to book again for next years race!

Such a pleasant house with all the amenities you need. The furnishings are beautiful and add to the charm. The space was perfect to host our family for graduation weekend. Large open sitting area in proximity to the kitchen with a large dining room to accommodate the whole family.

We had a very nice stay as we visited the area to celebrate Christmas with my family. The hosts had a robust welcome basket with a variety of goodies (which we didn’t get a chance to dig into unfortunately lol). The place was very clean and homey. It was perfect for my wife and I, and our pets.

Overall - great experience, I have already rebooked! This is the cleanest Airbnb I have seen. It was great seeing and hearing the farm animals in the morning.

We chose Charming Creekside Cottage for its proximity to Camp Woodward. It proved to be a peaceful respite for our family. The creek is a welcoming focal point and lulled us to sleep at night. Breakfast items were generously provided. The home was well maintained and artfully decorated, with a great library selection. It had a warmth and energy, and our kids immediately felt at home. The Meandering Mallard was the only restaurant we visited nearby, and it exceeded expectations. Writing this from home, we already miss the creekside sound at night and will have to settle for a noisy air conditioner instead.

My friends and I had a wonderful one-night stay at this beautifully decorated Airbnb, where everything is Penn State-themed. It brought back so many fond memories! The location is perfect—close to State College and easy to find. The place was sparkling clean, and the host was incredibly warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here for a cozy and nostalgic experience!

Amy was so thoughtful with all the small amenities she provided, it made us feel right at home. The fireplace was a cozy plus. the place was spacious and so clean and updated.

This was our second stay. The space was quite comfortable and adequate for our needs. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than we had planned.

Rada was a great host. I had to shorten my stay after staying there for a few days, which was quite unreasonable. However, she still nicely accommodated my request. The location was also great, right next to the Tudek park, and very nice bike paths nearby.

Great place to stay for our 6 person work crew doing surveys in the forest to the north. We worked everyday in the rain and totally appreciated have a washer and dryer to take care of our clothes and gear and a warm dry place to lay our heads. The owners even brought additional detergent for us!! Thanks for everything!!

Irina’s place has been the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at so far (and we’ve been on a road trip for the past couple of months). She was incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns we had, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The home itself is spacious, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and even includes an office room, which was a huge plus. We had an amazing stay right up until the very end, when the washing machine unexpectedly stopped working. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts to troubleshoot, it seemed to be a software issue that required more time and expertise to resolve. We felt bad that Irina had to deal with this, especially with another guest checking in on the same day we checked out. Despite the inconvenience, she remained respectful, kind, and professional throughout. All in all, we’d recommend this place 100%. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—it’s a fantastic choice!

David was a great host. Home was as described and he was very accommodating considering a last-minute rental.

We booked this cabin for a bachelorette trip with 13 guests, and we have no regrets! Communication was excellent, everyone was comfortable (very comfortable beds and couches, good bathrooms for a large group), and the accommodations were great (campfire, hot tub, and TV alongside plenty of towels, bedding, and travel soaps). The dining table and living room are perfect for large groups. It’s deep enough in the woods to feel secluded while also close enough to the store to grab anything you might need without a hassle. We loved the cabin, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, restful escape with friends and family!

We really enjoyed our stay at Deer Creek Cabin. Paul & Kathryn were great hosts and very responsive. The setting was so peaceful, with the cabin tucked in the woods. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch with our coffee every morning listening to the birds singing cheerfully, and the beautiful sounds of a creek bubbling over the rocks. The cabin was clean and felt like home, away from home. If you love nature, peace and quietness, this spot is for you.

Our crew stayed here while working in the area and everything was great. Zero complaints. The guys were happy and slept well. Thanks for the hospitality!

A gem in Penns Valley. Great little one bedroom/studio style cabin. The farm was peaceful and all the animals were happy healthy and fun to interact with. Great hosts. Great location. I’d come back again anytime.

My husband and I daydreamed about a cabin in the woods getaway; some calm, quiet, quality time outta the city. And while we knew we wanted something peaceful and nice from the world, we couldn’t have expected the quality stay we would receive while staying at Victoria’s Cabin! It has the cabin in the woods stay and feel. But also so clean and with anything you could need. It was clean, cozy and peaceful. The surroundings were beautiful and ideal and there was wonderful hiking and sight seeing to enjoy. Victoria is kind, responsive and made all the directions and instructions simple to follow. We are so beyond pleased with our stay, the getaway we absolutely needed and highly recommend this cabin to anyone interested. Only thing to note is that telephone service is pretty bad in the whole area. As far as WiFi and internet, we didn’t care in the least. But it made being in touch with my son challenging. But if we’re being honest, I needed the break from him too :-) 10/10!!

I absolutely loved my stay at Christina’s Country Creek Cottage! The place was spotlessly clean, warm, and inviting—exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Super comfortable and peaceful, it's the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. I highly recommend it!

I had a great stay at Raymond's place! I had everything I needed and the property was so beautiful! Very peaceful and quiet with lots of wildlife! Raymond was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I would definitely stay here again!

The Cozy Cabin takes me back to my childhood summers spent on a farm! I love bringing my grandchildren here, to enjoy nature and to just spend time together, something that is hard to come by these days! Everything you need is provided for, and we’ve learned to bring less and less every time we visit! Thank you, Will for always being a great host!
