Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Central Kootenay

We loved our stay. There were five of us (adults) and it served us so well. It was a sweet place to come back to after a day of hiking and exploring. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen very functional, the BBQ got some great use. And we felt supported by the hosts, they were very responsive to any questions or needs.

I loved the ease of saying at Caroline's. The kitchen was well stocked, even little extras. The whole house was very clean, it felt like we were the first people to stay there! The beds were comfortable, loved the master bedroom! The livingroom was cozy, we were very comfortable sitting around the coffee table and playing games at the end of the day. (Caroline also had games to choose from, nice touch!) Loved waking up and seeing the river and the trees! Quiet neighborhood. All in all, great place to stay, would stay again!

The perfect lakefront escape! This cabin is the jackpot—a private beach, all the nature & cabin vibes, and enough space to fit my modern family of five plus our two fur babies. The cabin is spacious, comfy, quirky layout and everything you could possibly need from games, kitchen wear to towels & more. Great communication with Craig, easy to get into. If you’re craving a secluded, serene spot by the lake, this is it.

This airbnb is delightful! it’s comfortable, private, thoughtfully equipped, clean, full of beautiful house plants and extremely close to downtown nelson. I would say this is one of the best places I have stayed in through airbnb. I literally can’t find fault!!

What a lovely stay we had at Lisa's. As a host, Lisa was so accommodating, flexible and easy to get a hold of. The house had everything we needed and provided a very peaceful stay. We thoroughly appreciate Silverton for being a quiet and beautiful spot conveniently located on Slocan lake with great swimming. We would definitely return.

It's an absolutely lovely home with an amazing view and beautiful natural surroundings. The house is spotless and well equipped with everything you need. The views from the large deck were such a wonderful surprise. The ferry ride back and forth from the town of Nelson was an added delight for us. All in all this home was fantastic and I would highly recommend for other travelers.

This place is a gem! The house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. Awesome views! We went down to the water every single day to swim, fish for trout and throw sticks in the water for our pup. Great hiking in the area. Super friendly and responsive host. Highly recommended!!

The accommodation was very comfortable and as described with lovely views from the balcony of the apartment and the communal spaces. The small complex was very relaxed and we had no problem parking in the visitor parking. The host also went above and beyond with little touches and extras such as toiletries in the bathrooms and basic cooking items and sauces. The location is fantastic as a good base to explore the Canadian Rockies and the Radium Hot Springs but we also enjoyed Invermere itself, a lovely small town with shops, galleries, a bakery and more to explore, restaurants, a pub by the lake, and a local supermarket, all walkable from the apartment. Two bigger supermarkets and more restaurants and shops can be reached within a 5 minute drive. The host also has a folder with much local information. Also recommend a trip up the mountain to Panorama. All in all we loved it!

Very impressed. Very clean , well equipped, pool and hot tub area great, location gives easy access to all surrounding areas, solid wi fi reception, tv selection(channels) very good, will definitely book again. Easy check in and out.

We were very pleased with Shawna ,how she answered any questions we had. She was very friendly and responsive. Would definately be happy to have her as a host again in the future.

I loved my stay in Bunkieland. It was so peaceful with a beautiful view from the deck. Exactly the escape I was looking for. It was also great to have a place my dog could stay, he loved the bunkie just as much as I did. Also a great location if you are coming to Nelson to bike... very close to Morning Mtn trails. Maria was super nice and helpful. Would gladly visit again!

This was our first experience using an AirBnB and it was an easy and enjoyable experience. It was a perfect space for us, our 5 kids and our dog. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with the kids and the short walking path behind the building was perfect for taking the dog out on. We enjoyed the slower pace of Radium and quiet mornings/evenings on the balcony with views of the mountains.

We wife and I came to visit friends in Rossland and are so happy we got to stay at Karen’s place. She is such a warm and welcoming host and has an eye for detail such as leaving out milk, bread and cookies for us as well as treats for our puppies. The place is very well appointed and even has underfloor heating in the bathroom which has a gorgeous sunken bath and nice separate shower with good water pressure. The setting is very calm and peaceful with great views out over the surrounding hills. We didn’t have time to get to use the hot tub or pool but will do on next visit. You can easily walk into town, plus there is lots to do on your doorstep including hiking, golf and mountain biking. Thank you Karen for a great experience!

The place was very clean and comfortable, and we loved the pool!! The location was perfect too, walking distance to everything :)

Sad to leave this paradise. You people looking for serenity, calm, relaxation & nature need to stay here for your own good! Glen & Robyn are such gracious hospitable hosts. This home feels like yours in an instant & they have really thought of every little need of their guests & made it happen. The house is equipped with everything you could potentially forget in town, or any “i wish we had’s” you can think of ….they have already! Too hot in the house? They have outer window shades. Not ready for the sun waking? Almost black out blinds. Need hygiene products? Check under the sink. Wish you had some music instead of the quiet keeping you company in the pool? They have out door speakers. Really the amenities & care put into this beautiful masterpiece of tranquility are endless. Do yourself the biggest favour; book here and take a load off & remember to feed your pet fish for the entirety of your stay! Glen & Robyn, thank you!

Amazing place to enjoy nature. Our dog enjoyed the stay and all the space to be off leash. The river was quite cold but we did swim once and wade a bit at the beach. The river was quite fast so if you had a dog which wanted to jump into the water it would be difficult. Mosquitoes weren’t too bad, but I would still put on bug spray if staying outside for long. We saw an elk herd on the other side of the river so they are around.

What an absolutely fantastic stay. From start to finish everything was beyond what we could have asked for. The beach has all you need to enjoy the water, hangout in the sun or just relax in some shade. The kitchen was not only well equipped with anything you could need but was also adorable. The beach house was awesome with plenty of space and room to store bags. The entire property has so many considerate touches that we really appreciated! The views were incredible and will be missed. Thanks for everything Babs!

Upon arrival to the cabin my spouse and I were absolutely amazed by how beautiful the area was. The cabin is absolutely adorable. The hosts did a wonderful job with absolutely everything. We did end up meeting them and they are very wonderful people. As soon as we got into the driveway, we were greeted with smiles and cookies! They then gave us a tour of the cabin and explained how everything worked. they also gave us a recommendation of a local hot spring that was breathtaking. They also left flowers on the balcony table for my spouses birthday, which was really kind and appreciated. We will definitely be visiting again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were friendly and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable and that we had what we needed. I appreciated the clear directions for how to get there, and all the written information in the binder left for guests on a table was helpful. Our two dogs liked having space to stretch out and there was lots of green area to sniff. One thing to note — there is a campground down the hill from the cabin (out of sight unless you look over the cliff) and the noise does travel up. However, if the windows are closed then it is fine, and it really wasn’t too bad at all even with the windows open. It was just unexpected so I thought I’d mention it.

Mark and Jackie were really helpful. They responded right away to any inquiries I had before and during our stay. The unit is really equipped with everything you need and beyond. It is only 3minutes away from town and 11mins away from Ainsworth hot spring! The mirror lake is beautiful.
