Although brief, we had a really lovely stay at Jean-Luc and Marie-Claire's, we felt right at home in the old farmhouse and enjoyed the walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house is huge, super clean with comfy beds and a beautiful and peaceful garden. Wished we could have stayed longer.

This property truly surpasses the photos. Beautifully decorated with a wide selection of art, books, crockery, fabrics, glassware , etc. We especially loved the main bedroom, which feels like a lush greenhouse, full of greenery. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully decorated and impeccably maintained. We highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates design and nature.

Michelle's place was beautifully decorated and made for a very pleasant stay. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Karoo in South Africa.

We had a lovely stay celebrating a friend's birthday. One suggestion would be to equip the kitchen with a few more platters and larger serving bowls to enable cooking and serving larger groups of people. Also perhaps some lamps in the lounge to create more ambience. It was either very bright lights while eating at the dining table / sitting in the lounge or in the dark with just the kitchen lights as lighting. Other than that we had a lovely stay and highly recommend your establishment for a comfortable stay for large families.

This place is an absolute gem in Beaufort West. My family and I have stayed a few times in Beaufort West while making our way down to CPT and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed at. My little furry one enjoyed the large enclosed front garden and the place was absolutely spotless, you could even eat off the floor if you wanted to considering how neat and well kept the home was. Mariaan was a wonderful host and was always ready to help when needed. We have definitely found our new stay over in Beaufort West from now on. Will definitely be back.

There’s no better spot for those seeking peace and inspiration. Elam is an exceptional host! Always accessible and incredibly knowledgeable. Her attention to detail is remarkable and her warm and open personality creates a welcoming andand comfortable atmosphere, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

The place was what I had hoped for, and more. Felt like a piece of heaven. Perfect hide away if you are looking for some peace and quiet outside the city. The hosts were welcoming, hospitable and very friendly. They recommended some great restaurants and places to visit too. Would go back again!

I cannot reccmmendly this place enough. What a fantastic host, the cottage itself...neat, clean, stocked with special treats. It is beautiful, has everything you need. The photos don't do it justice! Johan was so welcoming and left some cold watermelon for us on arrival in the fridge...we arrived after 4pm and it was 40 degrees.
