Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Central Huron

Merle's place was absolutely pet friendly! we loved the backyard, the patio area was beautiful.. it was indeed a good time, bbq'd and relaxed the whole long weekend! big backyard space for the little ones to play in and for the fur babies (separate areas too) It was clean, everything that we needed (and forgot to bring) we found at her place! I loved that the cleaning stuff were available for the guests to utilize. Vacationing with toddlers can get really messy, that's when proper cleaning supplies come in handy! It was a short walk to Victoria Park (with splash pad), short walk to little downtown (happened that there was a fair on the weekend of our stay! was a bonus). Also, we just walked down the beach, enjoyed the peaceful vibe and some ice cream. Highly recommend Merle's place for those who are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing and peaceful stay in a small town...

The A Frame getaway Nordic Spa really delivered. It’s a cozy interior and a beautiful spa oasis outside. Everything was decorated with purpose and the space felt very relaxing. We spent a few hours cycling through hot and cold in the sauna/hottub and cold tub. The only downside to the space is the small semi updated single bathroom. Wasn’t a huge concern for us, but I don’t remember any pictures of it and it’s certainly not the focal point of the space or why you should stay here. Overall, the space provided an amazing opportunity to relax, unwind, and refresh. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

We had a lovely time! From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Katherine had put a lot of thought and care into every detail. The little extras made all the difference. We’d definitely love to stay here again!

Ahmed was friendly and responded quick! The stay was great and is perfect location for a grand bend trip as you can walk anywhere you need to go! There was no confusion or lack of communication which made it easy to stay organized despite having such a large group. Recommend this stay !!

The Austrian Log House is a little slice of heaven. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and really hope we will get to go back again someday. The location is peaceful and quiet with beautiful views. The log house was very clean, had everything we needed, super comfortable beds. This place is absolutely stunning!! And our host was super friendly, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. It was a truly magical weekend away at the beautiful Austrian Log House.

The location of this home in downtown Elora could not be better! The log cabin is adorable and exactly as shown in the photos and description. It was incredibly clean and well-equipped for a lovely stay. The communication from host Andrew was excellent right from the beginning of the booking process until we checked out. Detailed suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area were spot on! Great location, great accommodations, and great host!

the house has been in the family since 1934, however has been updated and additions built that adds to the charm. Super cool sauna lay out and the bedrooms were spacious and clean...we had a great stay and even managed a few cider tours in the surrounding area. so fun...

The property was wonderfully quiet. We spent Saturday quietly and had a nice cheery fire in the fireplace on Saturday night. It was just the right place for us to have a little getaway.

This is a basement apartment Airbnb, which I usually try to avoid, as we have experienced a basement Airbnb where we could hear every word the owners above us were saying. But this basement Airbnb we could not hear anything above us, so it was private. There is a soaking tub/shower with a rain shower shower head. The tub/shower, being a soaking tub, is high to get in and out of. But it has excellent water pressure. The bathroom is not right next to the bedrooms. We always bring our own nightlights in case this is the case. So, with the tall tub and bathroom not near the main bedroom, I am not sure I would recommend it for older people such as ourselves, but for a younger person, it would be perfect.

Mary and Mike's place was perfect for our visit to Guelph. The location is close to downtown (15 min walk) and a local park (less than 5 minutes). The neighbourhood is quiet and beautiful. The space itself was clean and had everything we needed. For the three of us (2 adults and 1 teenager) we felt it was very spacious. Everything was carefully labeled, which we appreciated; we have stayed at several places in the past where we had trouble finding things. Finally, Mary and Mike were very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic hosts. Highly recommended!

Brigitte and Roger were very friendly and courteous, the place is comfortable to stay in and in a good location to nearby grocery stores and restaurants

My hubby and I wanted to get away for a couple nights because it was our anniversary and this place did not disappoint. It was quiet, clean, close to a couple towns for shopping, close restaurants that were excellent service and delicious food as well as a river that was <5 minute walk that you could watch the sunset at. We would definitely go again. Hosts were great and very easy to contact.

We stayed at this apartment for one night and it was absolutely perfect! Beautifully decorated and had absolutely everything we needed. They have thought of everything! Location was perfect and we will be back!

Janet’s place was perfect and exactly like the photos. Very cozy and homey feel. It is a basement suite and it was nice that she had a space heater and fireplace to keep us warm. She even had a basket of snacks for us when we arrived which the kids loved. This was very helpful as we arrived on our flight at almost 1am and needed a little snack. We highly recommend Janet’s place to anyone wanting a nice private place near the airport and a peaceful place to rest. Thank you Janet!

The unit was as described and more. extremely clean and very comfortable for our weekend visit. You can't beat the location right in the downtown and if you like to walk, it's very close to everything you want to do in Stratford. We will be recommending this unit to our friends and family. We will also be staying there again.

Absolutely beautiful! My favourite part was the enclosed porch with the river view, so peaceful. Erin communicated very well through the check-in process and the added details of local attractions and restaurants was very appreciated. To top it off the place was spotless and still felt like home away from home. Highly recommend!

Had a splendid time bonding with my family and kids, it was so much fun for us: the swimming pool, hot tub, grills, karaoke, darts and so much more made our stay very exciting. Adam and Carolyn were easy to contact and their response was prompt, many thanks for the popcorns and floaters...the kids loved it It was more than our expectation amd we're looking forward to coming back again next summer. We had a fantastic stay at this property just 20 minutes north of London, Ontario. The location was perfect—close enough to the city for convenience but tucked away enough to enjoy a peaceful retreat. Our group of eight fit comfortably, and the house was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bedrooms were clean and cozy, and the spacious backyard was a great bonus for hanging out and enjoying the outdoors. Everything was as described and more. We had no complaints and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-maintained home in a great location.

My family and I had a great stay at Betsy's. There was lots of space for everyone to sleep, play and hang out. The pool and backyard was fantastic for the kids. Kitchen had everything we needed for dishes, pots, pans, knives etc. The location was great. A nice park across the street and we were able to walk downtown. We would definitely stay at Betsy's place again.

Beautiful house with tons of space. Clean and comfortable for 8 guys to stay for work and the backyard is awesome to relax in at the end of the day.

My friend and I stayed over in May on weekend for 3 nights and had the most amazing experience! We were made to feel very welcome! The property is beautifully decorated, clean, picturesque and peaceful! Breakfast was amazing. I cam to participate in 3 days hiking event, my hiking start was 7:00 AM in the morning, they woke up earlier and my breakfast was waiting for me at 6:00 AM. The healthy food choices, taste and quality are incredible. The room was spacious and beds so comfortable. Property is almost in the Pretty River Valley Provincial Park. But if you are not too much into wilderness, they have short and nice hiking trail on property. You can just sit in the dining room or living room for gusts and enjoy view from the windows. Nonnie and Armand were very hospitable and generous. We felt like part of the family! We had a wonderful time staying here and will definitely come back for another visit just to relax near the pool and enjoy nature. Nonie and Armand, thank you so much
