Shepherds hut holiday rentals in Central Europe

Christophe is a very attentive and welcoming host. He built all the cabins with his own hands and they are all very beautiful and unique. The setting is beautiful. We had a great weekend.

We were very happy. Great sleeping, high quality amenities, homemade breakfast, board games, all welcoming and kind, kids passionate about the hills around the bay and sleigh cottage, which will also lend you for free, you can buy home products if it was and is a fruitful year, a bit is Filzmoos, where there is perfect skiing for children, on the other side of Therma Amadé, great bathing in salt and sweet water and outdoor and water slides, we also visited the city of Berchtesgarden in Germany on the way back - the children were passionate about from the salt mines. Thank you and we will be happy to come back :-) I just recommend chains. We didn't have them and we went everything, but the certainty is certain :-)

If you want to hike a lot and leave your car behind, this is the best place. We felt very comfortable and had fantastic weather every day. We hiked a lot and looked forward to the small kitchen in the evening.

Upon arrival, Michael was at work and Anja came out to welcome me. She was very friendly, spoke fluent English (always easy!) and gave a short tour and explanation about everything from the TinyHouse and the other usable spaces. There was even some local drink in the fridge, chocolates ready and fresh flowers on the table. My entire stay she answered every question I had immediately or fairly quickly, which was super nice! Anja and her family are there for you and will help you where necessary. In addition, the TinyHouse is very charming and small, with a bed that you have to fold down. I have enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the delicious fresh local eggs strawberries from the region (at Coop) were the tastiest I had in a long time and also the fresh milk was delicious at breakfast. Finally, I made a fire in the fire basket every evening, a wonderful end to the day!

We had a great time at the Friesenhof. The shepherdpherd's wagon meadow lodge and the kitty wagon were super cozy. The view out over the meadow was simply wonderful. The farm has a lot to offer for children. A large kettcar garage, lots of animals and a playhouse with table soccer. We felt very comfortable and had a great vacation. Thank you dear Christina

We got married in a beach chair on Pellworm and the shepherd's wagon was our accommodation for the week. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect, you have a great team! Always helpful, experienced, but never intrusive! If you have any questions, you can also reach us via WA during the day. The accommodation was exactly as described, the group of gypsy wagons offers enough privacy and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, both inside and on the terrace. I would gladly stay again 😃

What a setting! If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet place to recharge, you have knock on the right door! The accommodation is located in a beautiful private park, very well maintained where you are one with nature. You have access to a beautiful pool and pond where you can pedal boat for free! Another family was on the site, but the park is so large that it's easy to find a quiet little spot for a picnic or a nap in the shade of the trees. Finally the Lac du Malsaucy is only 5 minutes by car!

Thank you to Sandra, her children and the people who work at the goat farm for the welcome we received. We spent 2 days of total disconnection in an incredible setting. The opportunity to come and see the milking, listen to the sounds of the forest, hear the birds, and spend our days outside was really nice. In addition, everything is designed for a family stay, the small children's trailer was very popular with our 2.5 year old boy. The trailer we were in was very comfortable, nice and suited to our needs. We will renew a future stay and surely at the same time because the weather was perfect 👍🏼

It was a wonderful and relaxing stay! This is a place that feels right at home and doesn't want to leave! The wagon is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Michelle and Andi are great hosts and have created an oasis to unplug! Thank you for the wonderful time!

We had a great stay in the construction trailer and on the natural property. The "bathroom" with a small shower and separate compost toilet was completely fine on our side. The construction trailer was very clean and some dishes and a kettle were also there. (There is also a very new outdoor swimming pool a 3-minute walk away.) We think it's great with you!

Catherine's place was the perfect spot for a long weekend getaway - peaceful, private, and cozy. We loved both the location and the cabin itself - everything you need is there to make you feel right at home. Bonus points for the comfy bed and lounge chairs in the garden - we did not want to leave, and are already looking forward to coming back :) we did not meet Catherine in person, but she was very quick to respond to messages and made our stay feel seamless.

Had a great one night stop over while on cycling tour. Beautiful little cottage. Comfortable, cosy, and in fabulous location adjacent to the forest. Andreas was a perfect host in the spirit of "my home is your home". 🙏

Despite the heavy rain, we enjoyed our stay in the caravan. Everything was clean, beautiful environment, comfortable beds, there is simply nothing to complain about. In addition, Mr. Vojtěch is a very helpful and pleasant host. We will definitely be happy to return and recommend the accommodation to anyone looking for an escape from the city to an oasis of peace.

For our first time in France, we were able to spend our time here with Eric and Natacha. A beautiful, quiet area with an inviting accommodation for relaxing equipped with everything you need. 15 minutes by car you can find everything your heart desires. The Nordic Bath seduced us on the first day and was simply a dream with the location. Eric and Natacha were very accommodating and friendly, with good advice about the area. That was exactly what we needed. If we visit France again, we know where to turn.☺️ Many thanks!

Really lovely and special place in a beautiful environment with super friendly hosts - we’ll definitely come again!

It was simply wonderful — exactly what we hoped for. A very small and cozy cabin with minimal but sufficient amenities. Although it's part of a large farm, the cabin is set apart, giving a sense of privacy and a little "wild" nature experience — while still having a fridge, stove, and a regular toilet just a few steps away. For our 4-year-old, it was pure paradise: plenty of toys, playgrounds, animals to meet and feed. We ended up spending the whole day on the farm — our child was too fascinated to leave! And of course, we finished the day with a lovely campfire. A perfect and memorable experience! A few things to keep in mind: this is real nature. There are no window screens or curtains. Also, sleeping on the upper bed was a bit stuffy. But despite these small things, we absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back again.

2 days of complete disconnection, quiet, close to snowy trails for great walks... and very good cheese producers with direct sales. 😉

We had a lovely stay! Loes responded quickly and was very helpful! The area is perfect if you like hiking, cycling and running. We had good weather, so we sat outside with a view of the horses! Perfect location for a weekend getaway!

The yurt and the construction trailer are fantastically beautiful. The beds in both accommodations are super comfortable. In the outdoor kitchen, you will find everything you need. We are always happy to come back!!!

Very nice hostess, absolutely sufficient accommodation for us, everything as described and photos, nice attention as a gift for guests on arrival. There is nothing to complain about, perhaps only a few roe deer under the window when waking up, plenty of hares 😄 Really nice place on the edge of the village, but enough privacy ensured.

A great place to stay! We stayed at the Schäferhütte on our bikepacking tour along the Kylltal bike path and enjoyed the beautiful location in nature and the cozy furnishings! Thank you very much!

We loved Moritz's shepherd's wagon, very idyllic in the countryside, and nicely shady on hot days. We were able to unwind and everything you needed was there. We will definitely come back and then also do a canoe tour!

We had an all-round relaxing weekend and felt very comfortable from the first moment. The hosts were incredibly friendly and warm – you immediately feel that everything here is designed with a lot of love and personality. The atmosphere was family and at the same time special, especially due to the proximity to nature. The surroundings exude a special tranquility and offers the perfect opportunity to unplug and recharge. You can easily see how much emphasis is placed on an authentic and nature-loving experience here. We will be happy to come back!
