Chalet holiday rentals in Central Europe

We had a great time staying here. The views are amazing and the cabin is very cosy, very well laid out and really well equipped for cooking as well as with games, books, maps and activities for children. We visited in early June which was a great time with lots of lovely alpine flowers. Most of the walking routes were accessible although there was still quite a bit of snow on some of the higher paths in the area. Just to point out since we didn't realise, Swiss plugs are different to those in many other European countries and so you need to bring the correct adaptors if coming from outside Switzerland. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We spent a weekend here - the garden is fantastically beautiful, the location is very quiet, the house is lovingly furnished and very cozy. In the evening, we made a fire in a fire bowl. The kitchen is perfectly equipped for cooking. We'd love to come back, a great place to unwind.

We enjoyed the chalet very much. Milena was waiting for us on arrival and greeted us very kindly with a bargain. You and Jernej also supported us very well during the stay with tips on activities and questions. The amenities are very good, everything is available, e.g. bed linen and towels - you have nothing missing. The chalet is beautifully located as a single building in the forest and is therefore pleasantly quiet - only street noises from the nearby road and noises from the heating, which constantly starts, are clearly audible The house is very well located as a starting point for hikes in the beautiful nature. Highlights for us were the pool and the location in the forest - highly recommended.

Absolute great stay for us with an infant and toddler. As advertised and could not ask for a better view of the mountain range. Drive to main square in Zakopane is only 10min, recommend to anyone with kids or wanting to have a truly “highlander” experience.

The cabin was amazing, Mita is a great host and checks you in and shows you to the cabin which was helpfull as we arrived in the evening it was dark and would have been more difficult if he didn't guided us. The rooms within the cabin were extreamly comfortable and both bedrooms had a balcony which gave outstanding views of the mountains around. This is the perfect location if you enjoy hiking or walking as there are many trails and mountains that's can be hiked. It is an extremely peaceful area, I would highly recommend.

This was the most beautiful surreal place to stay. Elisa's communication was brilliant, her gift on arrival was so lovely. The road yo the mountain to the stay was amazing and a confident driver is best but it was absolutely worth it for the views and the place to stay. Thank you.

My family and I had a great time in this house! The environment was clean, beautiful and serene. Waking up to the sounds of birds and a lovely view of the mountains and lake was just excellent. I will surely return

Emma is very friendly and was always willing to give explanations and tips. The house has a beautiful terrace overlooking Padola and the mountains. A good base for many beautiful walks and mountain hikes!

it's hard to put into words the of this place. the pictures do not do it justice. I would have paid three times the amount to sit on that patio overlooking the lake. something about the train ride makes this Airbnb even more magical. The hosts were simply amazing - easily my best experience I've had with Airbnb. They were hyper responsive, and they made our stay so memorable; from assisting us with securing train tickets, to recommending local hikes, to delivering farm-fresh eggs, they were super hosts in every sense of the word. vitznau wasn't on our radar. we had originally planned on staying in Lucerne and at the last minute decided to check out this Airbnb. I'm so glad we did. if you're on the fence and trying to decide if you should stay in Lucerne or an area nearby, THIS review is your message to go off the beaten path and book this Airbnb.

wonderful accommodation with a large, very pleasant garden

Lovely house, Great kitchen with lovely views of the garden. Kitchen is very well equipped. Lounge with log fire. Sauna on the 1st floor was fantastic after a hard skiing. Bedrooms in the lower ground weren't as nice but still ok if you are a large group and need the space. Location is good but you need a car. Overall lovely property and helpful host. Thanks

Loved Francesco’s chalet. Felt right at home and the view is to die for. I couldn’t get enough of it. Very handy to shops, restaurants, buses, train station and lots of trails to hike on. The co-op is extremely close and has lots to choose from. If you have a question, he responds very quickly. You can’t go wrong with this chalet.

Reinhard and Petra were very communicative and friendly hosts. There was nothing missing. They left some types for the whole area and there is a book in the house where everything was well described. The chalet is fantastic. The mountain landscape invites you to relax. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The garden is perfectly maintained. The sauna in great condition. The hot tub is very clean and perfect to enjoy a glass of wine in front of the mountain panorama in the evening. The fact that dogs are welcome makes everything even better 🐾 We will certainly come back🫶🏽

We felt completely comfortable during our stay! The garden is beautiful and invites you to relax – a real highlight. The house is cozy and well equipped so you don't miss anything to take care of yourself. Dana was a fantastic host: super nice, attentive and always helpful if we had any questions. The surroundings are also great, especially for hiking lovers there are numerous beautiful routes nearby. We will be happy to come back!

The place is lovely! Great location and great chalet. Everything was really great. The only point that irritated us a bit was the check-in and check-out times. Check-in is only from 4 PM.. although we were only able to arrive later due to work, but checking out at 10 AM is quite sporty.. We didn't really have this on our radar and overslept, so I contacted the host and explained that we overslept and would only check out around 10:30 AM. At 10:25 AM a man knocks and without further words he goes into the chalet to clean the hot tub. No hello or goodbye. Of course, you would have to pay attention to the times yourself when booking, this got lost with us. Nevertheless, everything else was great and I can definitely recommend the place!

Our stay was completely successful! The location is wonderfully quiet, perfect for relaxing, and the surroundings simply fantastic. The check-in was very quick and easy. The house is well equipped, there is really nothing missing. A particularly nice surprise was the loving welcome gift, which put us directly in the holiday mood. We felt very comfortable from start to finish. An absolute highlight was the hot tub – especially in the evening hours under the stars a real experience! The hosts were extremely friendly, courteous and always available. Those who love the charming country style with modern amenities will definitely be happy here. Clear recommendation!

Yvo, you are a good host. Arranged a baby bed for us the day before arrival. Very nice! You also gave tips when we asked about the area. The contact via the app went well. Coffee, tea, wine, etc. were available. This makes the arrival pleasant. The cottage was completely fine with good beds. The seat outside was also neat and in good order. We were even allowed to check out later, because there were no guests coming after us. We have not used this due to our own planning. Small tip: adding a kitchen roll to the kitchen is nice and we also missed a rack in the shower for your shampoo. We also enjoyed it!

The house is very cozy and perfect for an outdoor / fitness holiday. The gym is well equipped and the sauna offers the perfect relaxation opportunity. Angelika and Jürgen are super friendly and accommodating, check-in and check-out were smooth and communication very fast and always warm. We especially liked the hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. All in all definitely extremely recommended!

Very nice host. Very good contact. He was interested in us during his stay, asking if everything was great. The place is very sophisticated. The location and the building itself are impressive. Nice adventure to live in a boat like this. It was a very nice surprise when we had to stop staying due to the illness of the children, and the host refunded us some of the funds (despite the fact that the listing was non-refundable). I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun adventure.

We had a really nice few days at the lake – the house is super equipped and you really have everything you need to feel comfortable. The view of the lake is simply fantastic, and with sauna and hot tub, no wish remains unfulfilled even in terms of relaxation and variety. We particularly liked the many tips for excursions in the area – both in the house and directly from the host, who was really totally warm and helpful. Everything was sparkling clean and lovingly prepared. We will definitely be happy to come back 😊✨
