Villa holiday rentals in Central America

We loved our week at Evan’s place. He was very helpful with places to go and restaurants to eat. The house was big enough for 7 of us to enjoy.

What a spectacular stay...Words do not do it justice. We had an incredible stay and the place is top notch! Put this on your list!

This is a beautiful place located in the jungle of Uvita. If you are scared of bugs and animals this place is not for you. With a dope open architect design you will feel like you’re in nature!

This was a great place to stay! Lots of wildlife, and felt pretty secluded. Me and my wife really enjoyed staying there and using the jacuzzi.

Loved this air bnb! It was fabulous. Breath-taking views & the pool was amazing. My boyfriend and I spent a decent amount of time at our air bnb (because it was just so beautiful) so it was such a highlight of our trip. They helped us book excursions, massages, and even had our groceries delivered when we got there late at night. My rating is 1000/10!! The way up to the air bnb is a crazy drive. Fernanda helped us find it and check in on the first day, so it wasn’t too bad, but definitely took some practice getting up that road on a steep hill / mountain. Would highly recommend renting a 4WD small SUV. Well worth it for the view though.

First and foremost, the view was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the porch or reading from the small pool with the scenery of this villa. Everything was exactly as described and was very clean. Cristina, the co-host, was responsive to all our messages/questions/concerns and was even able to provide room service. There were also horses out and about in the pastures behind the villa! The only downside to this place was the location. The roads are unpaved and hard to navigate, especially in the rain or dark. The location is pretty remote and far from any big towns, so be prepared to drive, even for groceries. The listing mentioned that you would need a 4x4, so be sure you have one, you’ll definitely need it. Otherwise, I have nothing bad to say! Overall, this place was great and we loved it. The hosts were very friendly and their property was extremely welcoming!

Wow. This was an incredibly beautiful stay. We fell in love with the house and can’t wait to come back. The views, architecture, and cozy feels were exactly what we wanted and received in tenfold. The hosts were helpful with all the local tips and even helped us book our shuttles and private boat to get to the home. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

House was beautiful, clean, and had an incredible view. Matched the pictures and then some!

It was our second stay at Villa St. Barth, and we hope it will not be the last one. We enjoy this privacy oasis very close to the touristy areas of the Tamarindo Coast. The property is secluded; you neither see nor feel any neighbours, yet it is just a few hundred meters away from a very nice fish restaurant. The house is squeaky clean and very comfortable to live in. The property's focal point is a pool suitable for lap swimming. We spend hours in the pool daily, looking for a busy bird life and occasional squirrels or monkeys.

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation, and this house was great! Geralyn was such a valuable asset—her recommendations were top notch. We booked the private chef for our last night, and it was delicious and absolutely worth it! A couple of things to note about the house that I wish we had realized beforehand: • The master suite and main living area (which is beautifully done and very private) are separate from the other two bedrooms. As a family of six wanting to stay close together, it was a bit surprising. To access the other two bedrooms and shared bathroom, you need to exit the main level, go down an outdoor flight of stairs, and use a separate entrance with a keypad lock. It’s secure, but it did make us a little uncomfortable at first having our two daughters staying in a separate part of the house. That said, it ended up working out fine. • Also, just a heads up—the hot tub doesn’t have heat. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and made wonderful memories!

This place was absolutely beautiful! It looked just like the photos. The open-concept design was very clean and featured amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Judit's communication and support were exceptional from the moment we booked until our final day, so many things would not have been possible without her help. We had everything we needed in the villa and were able to plan excursions and local transportation easily. I highly recommend staying here, but be sure to bring bug spray for the mosquitoes!

Facing the sea, the pool in good condition and with a view of the beach. Everything was great. José responds very quickly and is pending. The guardian Rogelio is very attentive to everything you need during your stay. A very quiet and private place.

We had such an amazing time celebrating a milestone birthday. Everything was absolutely perfect. The property is stunning. The rooms were comfortable and immaculate. This was the perfect space to spend a week connecting with friends. We did not want to leave and will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this property if you want a peaceful space with beautiful surroundings but still close enough to everything Santa Teresa has to offer.

I stayed at Belfont for my birthday weekend with friends and absolutely loved it. Although we had a small hiccup with the power, our host Anthony was incredibly proactive and got everything sorted quickly. The layout and decor of the house were stunning, and the peaceful, scenic surroundings made for the perfect relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to unwind in style. We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Tamarindo! It was perfect for our two families (7 people total, including 3 kids ages 5–8). The house was spacious, well-stocked, and felt very safe and comfortable for both adults and children. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the beach and with a fantastic pool that we used every day. The host was outstanding, providing great local recommendations and even helping us arrange airport shuttles and excursions. Everything was seamless from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time at Villa Lasai! Sophie- the concierge, did a great job assisting us with anything we needed and the house itself is exactly what you see on the pictures- gorgeous with breathtaking views, great pool and outdoor area. I am not an early bird by any means but I enjoyed waking up early in this house a lot- hearing all the forest inhabitants, ocean waves breaking somewhere further make you want to start your day to see/feel more of that. The house is located up the hill and the road is partially paved which took us one full round trip to get used to, but once you get a hang of it- it’s totally fine just a bit bumpy. In terms of proximity to everything the location is great, once you’re down the hill- you’re on the main street of Santa Teresa with all the restaurants, shops and tons of ocean access points. Overall, would definitely recommend Villa Lasai and would love to come back here some time in the future!

I can't say anything much different than all other posted reviews. Angie's Mountain House is stunning and Angie's attentiveness and hospitality is off the charts. If you are looking for a place that's off the beaten path and a way to experience true Costa Rican culture, this house in Turrialba is the one. The area is beautiful and the views from the deck are unmatched. The house is comfortable and provided all we needed for a home away from home, for my family of 6. We did have a few flies and beetles, inside and out, and there is an occasional dog barking and rooster crowing, but these are merely objective remarks and were non issues for us. After all, this house is in the mountains of Costa Rica. If driving, I would also recommend 4WD for the surrounding area, and the driveway is the most exciting part. I can easily say our time at the Mountain House will be remembered for a long time and we are already planning our return trip.

I have rented houses in the Dominical/ Uvita/ Ojochal over a dozen times and Roberto and Diana's place has been my favorite by far. Not only is the property extremely unique in it's design and layout, it's amenities, location and incredible view is unmatched. Typically speaking, in this area of Costa Rica, a house with a view this amazing will require a 10 - 15 minute drive up hill. This house is a 5 minute drive from so much and within 20 minutes of everything we wanted to do. This made traveling with kids so easy and allowed us to really explore the area while also relaxing at the house often. This house is more than worth it, especially for the reasonable nightly rate in comparison to similar properties. Pura Vida 🌴

AMAZING! Brendon, Moises, and the area all exceeded expectations! I would give more stars on my rating if it were possible. The home is a vacation in itself and the surrounding area is full of adventures. Just from the pool area at the home, you can see mountains, jungle, ocean, river and an abundance of wildlife! Then you get in a car and drive 20min to experience all of those same things up close and personal. If you love outdoors, wildlife and you have an adventurous spirit to try new things, this is the place to be at! The region still has some of the remoteness of less developed areas alongside all the conveniences of developed areas within a short drive. This is hands down our favorite stay we have had and we have been to a lot of places! We stayed 2 weeks here and can’t wait to come back! The home is modern comfortable and has the most spectacular views I have ever seen. Loved having my coffee and just seeing all the Macaw’s, Toucan’s, parrots, and numerous wildlife every day!

There really aren't enough words to describe this property. I was apart of a group of 4, and each of us agreed this was by far the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. It is fully immersed in nature, with gorgeous views of the ocean, amenities, and is within a 5 minute drive of beaches and restaurants. The home is exactly as it appears in photos, but somehow the pictures don't do it justice. It was extremely clean; we felt completely safe in the home; the hosts were impeccable in their communication with us both prior to and during the trip with quick response times; they helped us coordinate transportation and massages the day we arrived. A couple things to be aware of (but none of these are dealbreakers): the location of the home is a bit tricky to navigate but Manuel was very helpful; you are in a tropical environment, so bring bug spray and keep your doors closed if possible; the home is split into 2 units with separate entrances for each. Would 100% recommend and return here!

Anoranza is amazing! Much more like a resort or private escape than an AirBNB. Dalia, the onsite cook, is a wonderful chef and host, and I highly recommend taking advantage of her offerings throughout the stay. The property is quite a distance from the airport and West Bay Area which, we found perfect as it lets you disconnect and relax, but don’t book this location if you want to travel back into town nightly for meals or shopping. The gorgeous views, friendly staff, and wonderful pool are more than enough to keep you feeling pampered and relaxed.

The view of this house was breathtaking. We enjoyed visiting the town of Tamarindo & seeing the sunset. If you are looking for authentic Costa Rican food make sure to visit the Sodas (what all their small restaurants are called). We enjoyed every single one of them & are very reasonably priced. We visited playa Conchal which was my favorite beach & not far but also did the Leona waterfall hike and zip lining which was so much fun & beautiful. After our activities we were able to come home to our fresh and clean airbnb and dip in the pool then end the night with Netflix or a TV series. We didn’t have the swing which would’ve been a nice photo prop, but that’s alright. We hope to come back again but with our family or friends, we love Costa Rica so much. My husband really bonded with John the security & would enjoy their night talks. We loved how he greeted us with a smile. We will miss him. Gracias amigo y saludos. Our stay at Steven’s place was incredible. The place looks just as listed and is every bit as stunning. Steven was a very responsive host and was insightful about the area. The roads near the house are a little rough but totally worth it. I would highly recommend staying here.
