Every summer, for the last 4 years, we have started our summer break at The Shed. As educators, The Shed offers the perfect setting to relax and reset. Ketti and Davie are great host who go above and beyond to ensure guest feel welcome in a clean and inviting space. We always enjoy our visit to The Shed!

My stay at Jennys place was perfect. The apartment is clean and cozy with everything you need. The location was ideal for me visiting family in town, very centrally located. I appreciated the light by the road to help me find the driveway as I came in late every evening. Super helpful! I could hear the host and family above the apartment but it was not excessive and never bothered me. As a solo traveler it was actually comforting to know I wasn’t completely alone and someone was close if I needed something. The apartment is decorated nicely and even has some local artwork. The kitchenette has everything needed for simple meals and coffee. The bed sheets were the cherry on top. The softest I’ve ever experienced, I loved them so much that I intended to look for a tag so I can buy some but forgot! All in all I had a wonderful stay and will absolutely book again next time I visit Lenoir.

Lovely apartment, it's a basement that's at ground level at the back so it doesn't feel subterranean and there's good light in the bedroom and living areas. Really pretty view over the lake, even kind of pointing towards sunset. I saw some beautiful herons fishing near the dock. Very well-appointed apartment with thoughtful touches - they even set up the coffee maker so it was ready to go before my early morning departure, which was so nice to find. Comfortable bed with a ceiling fan in the bedroom, fast wifi, good pillows, very useful kitchen. Thanks for a great stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described and looked better than the pictures. The location was perfect with easy access to I-77. I loved the thoughtful touches like coffee, candy/mints and a bottle of wine. I highly recommend this space.

My family and I had stayed there this past weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time and experience. The house was so clean and beautiful not to mention the view was something out of a painting! We met some amazing new friends as well! I will be coming back to stay there again!

This was the perfect place for a girl's weekend! The historic home is beautiful, exactly as pictured. We loved the location. There are restaurants, shops, and cafes a few blocks from the house. Carla was extremely helpful and communicative. She had great recommendations for the area. We will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

DeeDee’s spot is beautiful. Very peaceful. We enjoyed our second trip there. We were rained in most of the weekend & still had a nice time.

Beautiful place! Seems to be well taken care of. Definitely feel a peace when sitting by the lake. On negative I’d say is having the home as a dual air bnb and a residence but other than that not a single complaint!

The sauna was awesome and I loved the cold plunge hot tub cycle. Peaceful hammock down by the lake was the perfect respite to recharge before cycling through the sauna and cold plunge again. Highly recommend.

Deralyn & John have a beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was private & beautiful, and close to shopping & eateries. The home was clean, cozy, & adorable; the lake was within walking distance. They were both very helpful and responsive.

Loved our Easter wknd in Sandra’s beautiful place! We will definitely be returning soon! I have staying in numerous Airbnbs and this one is definitely one of the best! Sandra thought of everything and we needed for nothing! The lake is gorgeous and my husband and I took advantage and brought our boat. Everything about our wknd was perfect! Thank you Sandra for everything plus the yummy muffins!

Perfect! It was clean, very comfortable bed, full fabulous kitchen, fantastic bathroom! Micheal did the extra mile with snacks, drinks, coffee, fruit, cleaning supplies, even extras for the bathroom-q-tips, razors, soap, shampoo! I really enjoyed my stay, it’s a little out of town but was perfect for me. I mean who doesn’t enjoy a perfect yard and golf course with their morning coffee?! I’m sure I’ve left something out but I would definitely book again!

Grand and glorious. This is really the perfect stay. The furnishings and bedding were luxurious yet comfortable. The lower level is completely private and opens onto a lovely lawn on the lake. All of our family members was thrilled with the stay.

Linda and Greg were great hosts! They were kind and accommodating, even bringing out alpaca food for us to feed them when we asked. We really enjoyed our stay and the pool was great! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family in Hickory!
