Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Castro Urdiales

There was nothing to complain about for us. A beautiful house in a quiet and better residential area. The central location to the beach and the town center is great. We received a lot of information from Maria in advance and everything went wonderfully at the reception. We were there for 2 weeks and since the weather was changeable, the big house was great. The garden with the old trees provides shade and the evening sun is beautiful for a sundowner. Our dog also felt very comfortable on the fully fenced grounds. So if you want to stay in this corner with a dog - or children, because the basement is full of children's toys - this is the right place. Thank you, dear Maria, for letting us stay in your house.

We have been 12 people in the house, marriages with children and what I say would fall very short, the house is spectacular in every way, location, cleanliness, size, comfortable, we found it incredible and we will definitely repeat!! Rebeca is very friendly and helpful. It's well worth it.

Perfect place, the house is great, everything worked perfectly, the heating, the dishwasher, the fireplace, everything as described. Very good cleanliness, there were sheets and towels for the 9 we were. There were games for the little ones and a place to walk with the dogs. A lovely view of the mountain. I give it a 10.

An ideal house for a quiet weekend to enjoy the nature and landscapes of Cantabria. The host was very attentive , friendly and the things we had were sorted out at the moment so I have nothing but good words for them, highly recommended , we were able to enjoy the stay a lot!

Clean and tidy house. Close to the beach and with all the amenities. 100% matches the description and photos posted. The only thing is to be careful if you are traveling with elderly people because there are two flights of stairs to access the rooms and the terrace. Area with restaurants and shops that provide you with all the services. Urban that brings you closer to the center next to the house. We would repeat for sure.

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

We loved staying here and Sopela was so beautiful. A great spot to stay for a week or more and Gaizka - the host - was very helpful! We hope we can come back!

Casa Merino is in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood in the mountains. In order to get into town (Castro Urdiales) and easily get to other areas of Cantabria, hiring a car or bringing your own is recommended. Pilar was very communicative and there to welcome us when we arrived. The house was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Pilar also readily answered queries during our stay and gave recommendations. We would happily recommend Casa Merino.

Juan is a really friendly and helpful host who quickly responded to any queries. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and very well equipped

Lovely village. Excellent metro to Bilbao. Easy walking access to shops & town. Close to beach. Everything was great.

We really enjoyed our stay with the beautiful garden. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and flexible. Only some more plates and cutlery would be helpful to cook at the accommodation for 5 people. Would definitely recommend for your stay in bilbao :)

It’s not often the hosts greet you on Airbnb, so it was lovely to be greeted by Angela and to feel welcomed. Spotlessly clean and comfortable apartment.

Jose and Isabel are very good hosts, they always sent and answered messages quickly. We felt very comfortable. The location of the apartment is very good and you can reach a lot from there on foot. A bakery and a supermarket are about 3 minutes' walk away, a fish shop just across the street and a butcher a few meters away. Good restaurants are also nearby. The marina is right on the doorstep and the beach can be reached in about 300 meters. The apartment is well equipped, we didn't miss anything. We highly recommend the apartment and also the location, as there are many possibilities for excursions (mountains in the hinterland, Santander nearby) and the beach. Many thanks to Jose and Isabel for the use of the apartment.

Very nice place centrally located and the apartment is more than expected!! Julen and other hosts were very attentive and responsive, provided everything in a prompt manner. I will definitely come back to this place for my next visit to Bilbao :)

We spent in total 10 days in the aopartment and had a really nice holiday. The appartment is equipped with all necessary utilities and was very tidy and clean. Jose was a wonderful host and available whenever needed. We can definitely recommend the appartement and surely plan to come back one day.

Nice place, clean central

Lovely apartment, very comfortable, great location equal distance to beaches and old town, lovely walks in every direction, it’s hilly but everywhere is! Only note is the terrace is on the front porch, quite pleasant and gets the sun but not secluded/private. Luis was a fantastic host and we would stay again.

Fantastic hosts. Jon was excellent in communication. We went during the cup final so bilbao was very busy. He told us train times and even took us too and from bilbao. Couldn't have asked for a better host.

We have been super comfortable with our dogs. The house is as described and as it appears in the photos. We were very comfortable and Pedro was a very good host. We will definitely be back, because we loved the area!

Hosts were extremely helpful. You get the ground floor & basement of their large family home to yourselves. Plenty of room. Cake & wine on arrival. Perfect base to see the Basque region & watch your team win the Europa League! Eskerrik asko!

José Ramón's house is a great place to enjoy a few days of rest and beach! It has everything you could need, the beds are very comfortable (which, together with the tranquility of the area, makes your rest perfect), it has a wonderful garden and, in addition, everything could not be cleaner! The location is very convenient to be able to walk anywhere, but far from the area that can be more bustling (now everything was super quiet) and having the garage is another great advantage so you don't have to worry about the car. And, in addition to all this, José Ramón is a great man. Thank you very much for everything! P.S.: if you go with kids (and, if not, also :-D), the beaches of Isla are another great point in favor!

Easily one of the best places I have ever stayed. I had a great time, the hosts were lovely kind people, and the surroundings beautiful. Would recommend wholeheartedly

We absolutely loved our stay at Josu’s apartment. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything you might need — we especially appreciated the dryer, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, and iron. It truly felt like home. The location is also fantastic: it took us about 20 minutes to walk to both the city center and the old town. There's a large park just a few minutes away, which was perfect for our dog. A great supermarket is right around the corner, and there’s an entrance to an underground train line in the next building - super convenient for getting into the city. Parking was a bit tricky to find at first, but we managed just fine. There is also an option of paid parking nearby, which is helpful if you prefer something a bit easier :) Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more. We also accidentally left a jacket behind while checking out and Josu was incredibly kind and responsive in helping us get it back.❤️
