What a wonderful property. Beautifully decorated, amazing layout and spacious and cozy in winter with the fire place and loved the wine nook. Antionette recognised and wrote a card with chocolate and wine for my son’s wedding. Loved the layout and can imagine it in summer with the pool area. Enjoyed staying in this property and friendly and kind hostess. Highly recommend.

Welcome homely feel. Well appointed. Very responsive. Delicious, generous platter upon arrival plus heating and lights on. Much appreciated on a wet, cold winters night. We enjoyed our stay over the long weekend.

We had a very relaxing time at Sheree's place. A very peaceful area with a lovely view over a large gully. Lots of room and comfy beds, it's also close to the local shops and cafe's in Hepburn and only a five minutes drive to Daylesford. Highly recommended Mark and Zoe

Nigel's place was fantastic. Everything about the property was great. Very clean and everything worked perfectly. The view across the paddock was great and the kids had an amazing time exploring the property and trying to spot the kangaroos. We took our telescopes with us and the night star gazing was one of the best we've seen. Highly recommend.

Was a lovely location and easy accessibility to shops and centre of town. House was clean and well presented. 10/10. Simon is communicative and good to talk too

Jennifer and David’s house is a fabulous place to stay in Daylesford! The house itself is modern, clean, spacious, has excellent amenity, and special bonus features including pool, spa and sauna! Communication was easy, always prompt and informative. Will be back. Highly recommend!

Em and I had such a beautiful time staying at the peaceful, luxurious, and stunning Oikos at Breakneck Gorge. The layout was superb for a complete escape from the everyday with views we struggled to pry ourselves away from when it came time to explore the lovely Hepburn/Daylesford area. Arthur was lovely and incredibly informative and the space itself was fitted with just about every creature comfort we could possibly have wished for.

We were lucky enough to find Mia Mia while we were waiting to move into our new house so we had a lengthy stay. It was lovely to have such a homely place that was peaceful and comfortable. Fire for the colder nights, very comfortable beds, functional bathrooms, kitchen and laundry and we particularly enjoyed all the bird life around the home. A very easy walk into town to grab the necessities, a coffee or a pub meal. Thank you so much for your hospitality Bronwyn and Kieran.

Great two bedroom unit in Castlemaine, was very close to the town center. Also has a nice outdoor area to enjoy during nice weather. Heating did the trick on chilly evenings. There were quite a few easy bushwalks to enjoy in the surrounding area. Also wineries close by. Easy drive to all spots. Thanks for a very comfortable stay!

We had a pleasant stay at Quiet Country Retreat, located right at the foot of Mount Alexander. The accommodation is great for a couple and has a separate living room and fully equiped kitchen. The verandah is a great place to relax with abundant bird sounds. Castlemaine is just a short drive away and has lots of food options.

From the moment we walked through the gate and the manicured garden and entered the house we felt right at home. Inside was tastefully decorated and felt very luxurious. The home is warm and spacious and the wood heater in the lounge was a delight to have on the cold Daylesford nights. The house is located in a very quiet street and there is plenty of privacy whether you’re inside or outside enjoying the fire pit or patio. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of action but our host communicated openly and clearly about it and kept us informed of progress to rectify it. When it wasn’t able to be up and running while we were there an appropriate refund was applied. We highly recommend a stay at Greenleaf and appreciated the peace and tranquility of the home and great host who was friendly and very responsive.

Beautiful, tasteful place, luxe linen, comfy beds, nice and warm, lots of extras in the kitchen, rugs galore and a luxurious bath. Slightly less convenient to town (no surprise), but lovely and close to botanical gardens and The Mill fleamarket. Kids appreciated ear plugs as main road noise could be a bit distracting at sleep time. However, that was a minor thing, and would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful escape for a couple of nights in a really peaceful and beautiful setting. While I could talk about how it matched its description, that the place was spotless, or that sitting in front of the fire felt so homely, there were a couple of things that stood out for me personally. Firstly, as someone who has managed to have tatami rooms in a few houses that I have lived in, and unfortunately doesn't have the space now, being able to sit on tatami and just chat was just lovely. Secondly, as someone who has spent many hours in sento in Japan, being able to sit on a stool and wash before hopping in a deep bath brought back wonderful memories. So all in all, a wonderful space with a really responsive host.

We were two families with children under 5 staying flr the weekend and we all had a brilliant time. Matt and Hayley’s place is a paradise for kids and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend. The kids especially loved the inside swing and the outdoor trampoline!

Absolutely loved our stay wished we could have stayed longer! Had a great vibe felt very much at home. We were very warm with the fire place and split system. The home had everything we could possibly need. We will definitely be back! Thank you Richard

Although attached to the main house the accommodation was extremely private and in a beautiful setting with lovely views. We didn’t get to enjoy the outside decks due to the rain but were extremely happy to laze near the cozy wood fire and use the luxurious bathtub. Everything was absolutely spotless, the bed was very comfy and the fresh eggs, yummy bread, wine & chocolates very much appreciated. Thank you Michelle for a very peaceful and relaxing weekend. Anton was responsive to queries. The home was warm when we walked in on a cold winters day, was clean and neat. Comfy beds and warm bedrooms. Plenty of rooms for 6 adults. Thanks for a great stay.

The accommodation was clean and beautiful when we arrived, with music playing and the heating on to make it feel extra welcoming. We loved the indoor hot tub and all the small touches which made it feel like the hosts really thought of everything. Overall we had an amazing time and would stay again.

We had a great stay at the cottage. The place is so peaceful with kangaroos around of a morning. Loved the crumpets, a nice touch and the views of the bush were wonderful to wake up to.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely clean and cosy home. Enjoyed sitting by the fire place especially on the cold nights. Very peaceful and quiet surroundings. We'll certainly stay here again. Thank you Alex.

A friend and I stayed at Yvonne & Darren’s for a relaxed weekend away from our families, and it was the perfect, cosy cool weather escape. Yvonne’s* countless thoughtful touches made us both feel very welcome and special, it was a bit like a treasure hunt as they revealed themselves one after another. Comfy beds, a hot shower, a game of Scrabble and warm drinks, it was a very easy house to just hang out in and enjoy. Not mentioned in the brochure is the beautiful pooch next door, he is magnificent and so friendly 😍 Thanks for a wonderful stay at lovely Leila! *I went out on a limb and assumed not Darren’s work ;) but if I’m wrong I stand corrected!
